Box erecting method and system
A method and a system for erecting boxes from box templates of different sizes, said method comprising the steps of: adjusting a size of a frame (5; 105) according to a size of a box template (3; 103) which should be erected; wrapping the box template (3; 103) to be erected around the frame (5; 105); and separating the frame (5; 105) from the box template.
Case former with case-squaring assembly
Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a case former configured to receive a case in a blank configuration, open the case into a tubular configuration, fold the lower minor flaps to manipulate the case into a partially closed-bottom configuration, square the case while in the partially dosed-bottom configuration, and fold and tape the lower major flaps shut to manipulate the case into a closed-bottom configuration. The squaring step ensures that the case has a rectangular cross-section after taping rather than a rhomboid cross-section.
Lid forming device
A lid forming device of a cardboard box using a first flap with a slit and a second flap to be extended after being bent into a mountain shape is disclosed. The lid forming device includes first and second folding mechanisms. The fist folding mechanism folds the first flap in a direction of closing the opening. The second folding mechanism bends the second flap into a mountain shape and inserts part of the second flap into the slit of the first flap while extending the second flap. The second folding mechanism includes first and second retaining units. The first retaining unit retains a first face of the second flap located between a free end of the second flap and a bend line set beforehand in the second flap. The second retaining unit retains a second face of the second flap located between an anchored end and the bend line.
Carrier for Containers
A carrier for holding a plurality of containers includes a top panel having a first plurality of container openings, at least one container retention flap foldably connected to the top panel and having a second plurality of container openings aligned with respective container openings of the first plurality of container openings, at least one first container retention tab foldably connected to the top panel and extending toward a respective container opening of the first plurality of container openings, and at least one second container retention tab foldably connected to the at least one container retention flap and extending toward a respective container opening of the second plurality of container openings, the at least one second container retention tab is circumferentially offset relative to the at least one first container retention tab, and at least one reinforcement panel positioned between the top panel and the at least one container retention flap.
Carrier for Containers
A carrier for holding a plurality of containers includes a top panel comprising a plurality of container retention openings for at least partially receiving a respective container of the plurality of containers, at least one container retention flap foldably connected to the top panel, the top panel comprises at least one container retention tab positioned adjacent a respective container retention opening and foldably connected to the top panel at a respective fold line, at least one side reinforcement panel positioned between the top panel and the at least one container retention flap, and the top panel comprises at least one reinforcement portion extending from the respective fold line.
Carrier for Containers
A carrier for holding a plurality of containers includes a top panel having a plurality of container retention openings for at least partially receiving a respective container of the plurality of containers, at least one container retention flap foldably connected to the top panel at a fold line, and at least one reinforcement panel interrupting the fold line and positioned between the top panel and the at least one container retention flap.
RETAIL READY CONTAINERS
A blank for constructing a container includes a front panel, a bottom panel foldably connected to the front panel along a lower front horizontal fold line, and a side panel having a front portion and a rear portion. The side panel is foldably connected to at least one of the bottom panel or the front panel. The blank includes a top panel that is foldably connected to the side panel, and a rear panel foldably connected to the rear portion of the side panel along a rear vertical fold line. The front and rear portions of the side panel are separable from one another along a separation line such that the rear portion of the side panel and the rear panel are configured and adapted for removal.
MACHINE FOR FORMING A CONTAINER FROM A BLANK
Provided herein is a machine for forming a container from a blank including a tray and a lid. The machine has an upstream end where the blank is loaded and a downstream end where the container is discharged and includes a frame, a pre-forming assembly, and a mandrel assembly. The pre-forming assembly is configured to partially form the lid and the tray by folding each of a plurality of side panels of the blank and further form the tray by partially folding a front panel assembly of the blank, the front panel assembly including a front panel and a roll-over panel. The mandrel assembly is mounted to the frame and configured to engage a bottom panel of the tray to form each of a plurality of corners of the tray and fold the roll-over panel to form a front wall of the container.
Robotic system for erecting a one-piece insulating container
An automated case erector for erecting a one-piece insulating container and a method of automated case erecting are provided. The automated erector includes a case blank feeder for sequentially feeding a series of flat case blanks onto a conveyor, an insulation securing station for securing insulating members to the case blank, and a case erecting assembly for forming the combination of case blanks and insulating members secured thereto into a fully erected, three-dimensional container by simultaneously folding the combination of case blanks and insulating members.
SHEET PACKAGING MATERIAL FOR PRODUCING SEALED PACKAGES FOR POURABLE FOOD PRODUCTS, SEALED PACKAGE FOR POURABLE FOOD PRODUCTS AND A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A SEALED PACKAGE FOR POURABLE PRODUCTS
There is described a pre-creased sheet packaging material for forming a sealed package comprising: a plurality of longitudinal crease lines, which extend along a longitudinal direction; a plurality of transversal crease lines, which extend along a transversal direction; at least one first additional crease line, which extends along a further direction, which is slanted with respect to longitudinal direction and transversal direction; a first joining point, at which longitudinal crease line and a transversal crease line join with respect to one another; and at least one first area, which is bounded by longitudinal crease line, transversal crease line and additional crease line; further direction being incident to first longitudinal crease line and to first transversal crease line in first joining point; at least one of first longitudinal crease line, first transversal crease line and first additional crease line being interrupted at first joining point.
