Mailer forming apparatus and method of forming
An improved mailer folding apparatus that forms mailers from mailer blanks. The mailer folding apparatus comprises a transport assembly and one or more folding assemblies. The transport assembly moves mailer blanks and/or mailers through the mailer folding apparatus. The one or more folding assemblies may each comprise a folding system and a carriage system. The folding system may selectively allow for the folding of a mailer blank into a mailer. A carriage of the carriage system may move the folding system longitudinally between different positions relative to the transport assembly. An engagement system separate from the carriage system or integrated into the carriage system may engage and disengage the folding system with the transport system for selectively feeding a mailer blank through the folding system, or disengage the folding system for allowing a mailer blank or folded mailer to bypass the folding system.

An improved mailer folding apparatus that forms mailers from mailer blanks. The mailer folding apparatus comprises a transport assembly and one or more folding assemblies. The transport assembly moves mailer blanks and/or mailers through the mailer folding apparatus. The one or more folding assemblies may each comprise a folding system and a carriage system. The folding system may selectively allow for the folding of a mailer blank into a mailer. A carriage of the carriage system may move the folding system longitudinally between different positions relative to the transport assembly. Convertible package assembly and display system
A package assembly suitable for use in storing and shipping a plurality of product containers includes a shipping configuration and a display configuration. In the shipping configuration the package assembly is constructed from a single blank of packaging material and formed into a case into which a plurality of product containers are inserted. In the display configuration a top portion of the case is removed from a bottom portion of the case along one or more tear lines on the blank.
MACHINE AND METHOD FOR FOLDING AND ADHESIVELY BONDING BLANKS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF FOLDING BOXES
A machine for folding and adhesively bonding blanks for the production of folding boxes. It includes a transport system which has at least one puller which wraps around deflecting rollers and extends along a processing path, a drive connected to a deflecting roller and drives the deflecting roller. Workpiece carriers are fastened to the puller and are moved along the processing path by the at least one puller. It also includes a magazine for a stack of blanks, a mechanism for removing individual blanks from the stack in the magazine, a feeding mechanism for the removed blanks to the workpiece carriers, active means for retaining blanks on the workpiece carriers, control means, which are connected to the active means to control the retention and release of the blanks, and at least one means arranged on the processing path in a stationary manner for adhesively bonding blanks.
BLANKS AND METHODS FOR FORMING CONTAINERS HAVING STACKING PLATFORMS
A blank of sheet material for forming a container includes a plurality of side panels and a glue panel coupled together in series along a plurality of generally parallel fold lines. At least one of the generally parallel fold lines has an increased stiffness. The blank also includes a plurality of bottom panels. At least one of the bottom panels includes at least one bottom corner portion that extends adjacent to and beneath a free bottom edge of a corresponding one of the corner panels and the glue panel. The blank further includes a plurality of top panels. At least one of the top panels includes at least one top corner portion that extends adjacent to and above a free top edge of a corresponding one of the corner panels and the glue panel.
Convertible Package Assembly and Display System
A package assembly suitable for use in storing and shipping a plurality of product containers includes a shipping configuration and a display configuration. Push folding of carton blanks
A folding aid with registers is aligned with notches in a specially designed carton blank to facilitate the efficient manual construction of cartons with gusseted corners.
Box finishing machines
A corrugated box finishing machine including a plurality of vacuum belts for moving flat box blanks or boards along a horizontal path for use as either a die-cutting machine or a flexo-folder-gluer machine. A folding mechanism at the opposite sides of the machine has an active position where it folds parts of the boards as in a flexo-folder-gluer machine, and an inactive position spaced from the path of conveyance and the boards to accommodate boards which are not to be folded.
Box finishing machines
A corrugated box finishing machine including a plurality of vacuum belts for moving flat box blanks or boards along a horizontal path for use as either a die-cutting machine or a flexo-folder-gluer machine. FOLDING STATION AND FOLDING-BOX ADHESIVE-BONDING MACHINE
Folding station and folding-box adhesive-bonding machine are provided. The folding station for deforming flat workpieces includes at least one group of k guide mechanisms, which are fitted at a variable distance from one another along an arrangement line. The guide mechanisms are operatively connected to a common, proportionally active adjustment device which, during operation, varies the distances between in each case two adjacent guide mechanisms of the group of guide mechanisms uniformly along the arrangement line. Also provided is a folding-box adhesive-bonding machine having a transporting device for folding-box blanks and having at least one such folding station.
