HAND-CONTROL DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING OPERATION OF INJECTION SYSTEM

A hand-control device for controlling the operation of an injection system is described herein. The hand-control device includes one or more input components that receive input to control various operations of the injection system, including commanding the injection to perform a particular operation, changing an operational aspect of the injection system, and selecting an operational mode for the injection system. A communication unit of the hand-control device generates and conveys a signal for the injection system, and receives a command signal from the injection system. An output component outputs an indication, such as a light emission, a sound, or haptic feedback, in response to receiving the command signal. In some instances, this indication acts as a confirmation or failure of the intended input.

INTRALUMINAL MEDICAL IMAGING INTERFACE DEVICES AND SYSTEMS

An intraluminal medical imaging interface device includes an arm assembly comprising one or more longitudinal members and one or more joints coupled to the one or more longitudinal members, and a head assembly coupled to a distal portion of the arm assembly and comprising a proximal portion coupled to the distal portion of the arm assembly and a distal portion. The distal portion of the head assembly includes a mechanical coupling and an electrical coupling configured to separably connect to an intraluminal imaging catheter and to transmit electrical signals between a console and the intraluminal imaging catheter. The arm assembly is configured to couple to a surface to maintain the head assembly at a first position and an orientation with respect to a patient without continued support by an operator. Associated devices, systems, and methods are also provided.

AEROSOL DELIVERY DEVICE

The present disclosure provides an aerosol delivery device comprising a control device that is connectable with a cartridge and that can include one or more additional elements for improving one or both of visible indications of use to a user and resistance to infiltration of liquid into the control device. More particularly, the control device may include a light guide configured for transmitting to a window from a light source that is off-set from the window and a controller configured to direct a varying level of light from the light source. The control device may include one or more elements that are configured to limit infiltration of liquids into the control device and thus may be consider to be water-resistant or water-proof.

Delivery safety ensuring method and wearable medical system using the method

A delivery safety ensuring method for a wearable delivery system, comprising two major steps to double-ensure that an instruction sent from a smart device trying to control the wearable delivery device reflects the true intention of the user. The first step is to restrict a delivery amount instructed by smart device within a pre-determined range using an alternative physical key, and the second step is to require authentication using an independent authentication tool through proximity communication. Both steps of the safety ensuring method require no open network access, solving the problem of the smart device being vulnerable to program failure and external viruses so as to enhance delivery safety, especially against malicious external attacks from open network. A wearable delivery system using this method is further provided.

CONTROLLED DELIVERY DEVICE FOR TREATING CORONAVIRUS INFECTIONS AND METHODS THEREOF

The present disclosure provides methods of treatment of COVID-19 through pH modulation of the respiratory tract using a controlled delivery device. In some embodiments, the controlled delivery device includes an aerosolizer, a microprocessor, and a syringe. The controlled delivery device can be integrated with a humidifier or a ventilator. In some embodiments, two agents are delivered in conjunction using the controlled delivery device. In some embodiments, one agent is a physiologically compatible alkalizing agent, such as an aqueous solution of sodium bicarbonate of strength 3%-8.4% at a pH ranging from 8 to 8.6 at 20° C. In some embodiments, one agent is an anti-inflammatory agent, such as corticosteroid ciclesonide.

VAPORIZER DEVICES AND ACCESSORIES WITH INTEGRATED SENSORS

A vaporizer system may include a vaporizer device and a vaporizer accessory configured to couple to the vaporizer device. The vaporizer accessory may include a sensor configured to continuously and passively monitor a biomarker of the user. The biomarker includes a concentration of carbon monoxide in the user's blood. Related systems and methods are also described.

Virtual reality apparatus

Provided is a virtual reality (VR) device, system and framework for generating VR continuum experience choreographed to a physical procedure incorporating at least one procedural action associated with a physical sensation and potentially inducing an anxiety or pain response. The VR continuum experience can modify perceptions of pain and anxiety associated with the procedure. The virtual reality device is configured to allow device control via a device user interface accessible to an operator other than the wearer (i.e. a medical practitioner), to allow the operator to control device calibration and virtual reality (VR) experience start while the apparatus is worn by the wearer, and to provide one or more VR experiences each associated with a physical procedure.

MEDICAL SYSTEM WITH DOCKING STATION AND MOBILE MACHINE
20230326588 · 2023-10-12 ·

A computer-implemented medical system is provided. The system includes a docking station and a mobile machine. The system is configured to perform operations comprising: receiving, by the mobile machine and from a user, a request to transport the mobile machine to a target location to perform a medical treatment; automatically navigating the mobile machine to the target location; performing, by the mobile machine, the medical treatment on a patient; determining, by the mobile machine, that the medical treatment is completed and the mobile machine is disconnected from the patient; automatically navigating the mobile machine to a stationary docking station of the medical system; and determining that the mobile machine is connected to the docking station through one or more connectors, and in response, receiving, by the mobile machine, at least one of an electrical charge, a refill of one or more supplies, a cleaning, or a drain of waste.

INTRANASAL TREATMENT DEVICE

The present invention relates to a closed system intranasal treatment device that is preferably in round, square, rectangular, triangular prism, quadrilateral, pentagon etc. form and that ensures the person who will use it gets maximum efficiency from the drug by creating a closed structure by completely wrapping noses of pediatric, adult and geriatric patient groups and preventing the drug from passing out of the system and maximizes patient compliance, in which all liquid pharmaceutical compositions in the state of the art are applicable.

METHOD FOR FLUID DELIVERY

A method for filling a reservoir a filling assembly having a needle, and a fluid. The reservoir is in a disposable housing assembly with a septum fluidly connected to the reservoir, a septum access assembly having a first position covering the septum and a second position providing access to the septum, and a bias mechanism for biasing the septum access assembly to the first position. The method includes piercing the septum with the needle, inserting fluid to the reservoir through the needle, contacting the filling assembly to the septum access assembly, and removing the needle from the septum. Removing the needle from the septum allows the bias mechanism to move the septum access assembly from the second position to the first position. The disposable housing assembly is attached to a reusable housing assembly.
