ROLL OF SEPARABLE BAGS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A roll of separable bags which leaves no scrap material and method of making a roll of separable bags which leaves no scrap material is disclosed herein. An elongated tube of material having a length and a width is laid flat, forming a web of material. The web of material comprises an outer and an inner sheet portion. First and second seals are formed widthwise across the outer and inner sheet portions. First and second bag separating perforation lines are formed widthwise across the outer and inner sheet portions. A user may tear one bag away from the roll of bags by using the bag separating perforation line. The user may then deploy the handles of the bag by tearing along the handle perforation lines.
A PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING BAGS MADE OF BIODEGRADABLE MATERIAL PLASTIC AND BAG THUS OBTAINED
A process for manufacturing bags made of a biodegradable or biodegradable-compostable plastic material and without any bellows, said process comprising the following sequence of steps: loading a reel (12) of plastic film (13) obtained by blown-film extrusion and having a width which corresponds to the width of at least one bag (50) to be formed; longitudinally cutting along cutting lines (15) to form at least two longitudinal bands (13); separating the bands to a given D distance from each other, and longitudinally welding; said steps being a function of the transversal dimension or width of the bag to be manufactured; transversally welding each individual longitudinal band (13) to define band portions (27) which corresponds to the longitudinal dimensions of the bags (50) to be formed, punching said band portions (27), moving and unloading the bags (50) thus formed.
BAG, METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING A BAG
The invention describes a bag (300) having a first wall and a second wall that comprise paper and that are connected to one another by lateral edges such that a fill space is provided, wherein the second wall projects above the first wall as seen in the longitudinal direction of the bag, and having two ends, wherein a bottom is arranged on one end and an opening is provided on the other end, through which the fill space is accessible, wherein the bottom comprises at least one folding region of the second wall, wherein the folding region is folded over at least parts of the first wall about a crease line, and having at least one handle opening (109, 109).
The invention is characterized by the handle opening (109, 109) through which the second wall reaches outside of the folding region and through the folding region.
BAG MAKING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR MAKING PLASTIC BAG
A web of first or second material is provided with the spout, and a plastic bag is made from side gusset materials in addition to webs of the first and second materials. An aperture is formed in the web of the first or second panel material, and the spout is inserted into and positioned with the aperture, whenever the webs of the first and second panel materials are fed intermittently. After the webs of the first and second panel materials are superposed on each other, whenever the webs of the first and second panel materials are fed intermittently, the webs of the first and second panel materials are heat sealed with each other in a longitudinal direction thereof by a longitudinal seal device, and the webs of the first and second panel materials are heat sealed with the side gusset materials in a width direction thereof by a cross seal device.
Non-continuously laminated structures of thermoplastic films with differing material compositions and functional material properties
A non-continuously laminated structure of thermoplastic films comprises thermoplastic films with differing material compositions and differing functional benefits. In particular, one or more embodiments comprise thermoplastic films that are co-extruded separately and then combined together by a post-extrusion bonding process. The differing composition of the various films of the non-continuously laminated structure of thermoplastic films and the post-extrusion bonding process, provide the structures with the functional benefits of the individual films.
BAG FOR CARRYING ARTICLES
An article carrier bag, in particular of the fastfood takeaway type, the bag comprising a bottom and sides (F12, F13) defining inside walls bounding an inside storage space, and being characterized in that at least one gusset element (E1) in a folded state is fitted to and fastened on at least one inside wall of the sides (F12, F13) in two adjacent fastener zones that are separated by a frangible zone (F15) provided in association with at least one side (F12, F13), so as to be capable of bringing the gusset element (E1) into an unfolded state after breaking the frangible zone (F15).
TRANSIT PACKAGING
The invention provides a container for use in the transportation of one or more consumer goods wherein the container is sealable and wherein the container comprises one or more internal handles such that the container is suitable for use as a carrier bag when in an unsealed configuration.
Method and device for forming a fold in an overwrapping film
An apparatus for producing a filmic packaging material having a continuously folded portion includes a first component having a protruding part; a first roller rollable on its longitudinal axis, the first roller provided with a recess on its outer surface for receiving the protruding part; a drive mechanism for moving the material along a path in a manner such that a continuous portion of the material is drawn into the recess of the first roller by the protruding part of the first component such that the continuous portion of the material is folded, forming a continuously folded portion having an overlapping surface due to the arrangement of the protruding part of the first component in relation to the recess of the first roller; a bonding component provided downstream of the first roller arranged to adhere together the overlapping surface of the continuously folded portion of the material.
Method and Machine for Manufacturing a Bag Comprising Handle
A method for manufacturing a bag includes a wall of the bag is passed along a placement drum for rotatably mounted handles; a handle is hooked onto the drum, legs of the handle extending backwards along a perimeter of the drum in the direction of rotation of the drum, the legs being connected by a cross member; same is completely turned over using a turnover drum so that the legs are at the front on the placement drum; and the handle is deposited on the wall.
