DIALYSIS-FLUID SUPPLY SYSTEM
This dialysis-fluid supply system, which mixes a diluent and at least two drugs to generate a dialysis fluid, and outputs said dialysis fluid, is provided with: two tanks which mix the drugs and the diluent to generate the dialysis fluid, and store said dialysis fluid; a water supply device and a drug supply device which supply the diluent and the drugs to each of the tanks; mechanisms for outputting, to a dialysis device, the dialysis fluid stored in each of the tanks; and a control unit for controlling the driving of these. During output of the dialysis fluid from at least one of the tanks, the control unit sequentially switches the supply destination tank for the drugs and the diluent, and the dialysis-fluid output source tank, between the two tanks in order to generate the dialysis fluid in the other tank.
DIALYSIS-FLUID SUPPLY SYSTEM
This dialysis-fluid supply system, which mixes a diluent and at least two drugs to generate a dialysis fluid, and outputs said dialysis fluid, is provided with: a mixing tank which mixes the drugs and the diluent to generate the dialysis fluid; a storage tank which stores and outputs the dialysis fluid generated by the mixing tank; a transport mechanism for transporting, to the storage tank, the dialysis fluid generated by the mixing tank; an output mechanism for outputting, to a dialysis device, the dialysis fluid stored in the storage tank; and a control unit for controlling the driving of the transport mechanism and the output mechanism.
Countertop Apparatus for Washing Articles
Disclosed is a portable and self-contained washing and sanitizing apparatus. The apparatus finds particular application in washing small baby items such as bottles, nipples, teething rings or toys. However, the apparatus can likewise be used to clean dishware, glassware, or utensils. The apparatus includes a container with a lid, the container housing the items to be washed; an accessory holder connected to the lid for holding accessories during washing operations; a water reservoir for storing and collecting wash water; and a housing for interconnecting the container and reservoir.
NEEDLE STRUCTURE
A needle structure for injecting a filler and monitoring a blood backflow situation simultaneously includes a needle, a housing and a partitioning member. The needle includes a needle chamber and a needle opening connected to the needle chamber. The housing includes a housing chamber and a housing opening connected to the housing chamber, and the housing chamber is connected to the needle chamber to form a needle housing chamber. The partitioning member is disposed in the needle housing chamber. The needle housing chamber is separated into a first chamber and a second chamber by the partitioning member. The needle opening is separated into an injection opening and a blood backflow opening by the partitioning member. The first chamber is connected to the injection opening, and the blood backflow opening and the housing opening are connected by the second chamber.
Pump clean-out system
A system for cleaning an implanted blood pump, comprising: an inflow catheter having an expandable inflow member positioned about the periphery thereof; an inflow tube coupled with the inflow catheter; a valve assembly coupled to the inflow tube; an outflow tube coupled to the valve assembly; and an outflow catheter having an expandable outflow member positioned about the periphery thereof, the outflow catheter being coupled to the outflow tube. In use, the inflow tube and outflow tube extend through the skin of a human body, the inflow catheter and outflow catheter are positioned within the human body, and the valve assembly is positioned outside the human body.
SMART MASKS
A smart mask includes a face covering, an attachment member, one or more sensors, and a controller. The face covering is configured to cover a face area of a wearer. The attachment member is configured to attach the face covering onto the face area of the wearer. The one or more sensors comprises an air quality sensor configured to obtain first data associated with nearby air quality or a breathing pattern sensor configured to obtain second data associated with the wearer's breathing pattern. The controller is configured to process the first data associated with nearby air quality to identify a current air quality, or process the second data obtained by the breathing pattern. In response to determining that the current air quality is worse than a predetermined threshold, or identifying a particular breathing pattern, the controller is configured to generate a notification, notifying the wearer.
VENTILATOR FILTER STERILIZATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A filter sterilization system includes an expiratory filter having filter material that collects pathogens present in the exhaled gas stream from a ventilated patient. A filter sterilizer includes an ultraviolet (UV) light source that is activated by the system to emit light towards the expiratory filter. Additionally, the system includes a ventilator coupled to a patient breathing circuit that provides a gas mixture from a gas source to the ventilated patient and transfers exhaled gases of the ventilated patient to the expiratory filter.
AMPOULE FOR INHALANT DEVICE
An ampoule with an integrated piezoelectric unit for use with a personal nebulizer or vaporizing unit with a mouthpiece. The substance to be vaporized is contained in the ampoule which is inserted into the unit, where the substance is vaporized through the integrated piezoelectric transducers or atomizers providing sonic or ultrasonic vibration. The substance to be vaporized may include a variety of therapeutic, homeopathic, or naturopathic formulations, remedies, or serums.
GAS SENSOR FOR ANESTHETIC GASES AND ITS USE
A gas sensor for the detection of gases and vapors in air is particularly for the detection of anesthetic gases. A method for the detection and for the monitoring of such gases is also provided including detecting anesthetic gases with the gas sensor.
MAINTENANCE APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR VAPORIZING DEVICE
A maintenance apparatus for a fluid ejection and vaporization device and a fluid ejection and vaporization device containing the maintenance apparatus. The maintenance apparatus includes a movable wiper blade, the wiper blade being attached to an arm on one end of the arm, wherein a distal end of the arm is attached to an air operated mechanism for moving the arm and for causing a sweeping movement of the wiper blade over an ejection head in the fluid ejection and vaporization device.
