Label die cutting machine, printing device, and label die cutting method
A label die cutting device enables easily changing the shape of the die cut made in label paper. A printer 1 has a print unit 7 and a die cutting process unit 8 (label die cutting device). The die cutting process unit 8 has a conveyance path 9 for conveying the label paper 5, a die cutting unit including wire pins 41 and a wire pin drive mechanism 42 for advancing and retracting the wire pins 41, and a die cutting controller 68 for driving the wire pin drive mechanism 42 to strike the wire pins 41 against the label paper 5 on the conveyance path 9 and die cut the label paper 5 based on print data. The die cutting unit is a wire dot head 27.
Reclosable Label
A resealable label is disclosed, the label having a top layer and a bottom layer. The top layer may be one or more ply, and the bottom layer may be one or more ply. The top layer is adhered to the bottom layer via an adhesive layer there-between. The bottom layer includes a concave perforation, the concave perforation having a line defined by endpoints of the concave perforation. The label further includes a layer of deadener between the label layers, the deadener being on the convex side of the perforation, and terminating at the line, the line extending to opposing edges of the label, where the deadener is at least some distance away from the perforation such that the deadener and the perforation do not abut. The label may further have a layer of adhesive on the bottom layer for adhering the label to a surface. The disclosure further includes a reclosure system that includes the resealable label and an inner label for mounting on a surface. A method of assembling a resealable label to a panel of bag material is additionally disclosed, the method including cutting of the panel to create a series of perforations and gaps there-between.
Removing unit and removing method
Provided is a removing unit that includes: a first conveying roller, a second conveying roller, a third conveying roller, and a take-up roller. The first conveying roller conveys a stack including first and second base members which are removably stacked with respect to each other. The second conveying roller conveys the second base member from which the first base member has been removed. The third conveying roller conveys the first base member which has been removed from the second base member, along a surface of the first conveying roller. The take-up roller takes up the first base member which has been conveyed by the third conveying roller. The second conveying roller is provided upstream from a first tangent in a conveying direction of the first base member. The third conveying roller is provided to overlap the first tangent or provided downstream from the first tangent, in the conveying direction.
LINERLESS LABEL AND CUTTING APPARATUS
A linerless label including a support, a release layer over one surface of the support, and an adhesive layer over another surface of the support, wherein when the linerless label is cut with an apparatus including a mechanism in which an upper blade of cutter blades is immobilized and a lower blade of the cutter blades is configured to move upward, in a manner that the lower blade is inserted into the linerless label from a side of the linerless label at which the adhesive layer is provided, a cutter load voltage during a cutter operation performed after the linerless label is cut five thousand times repeatedly has a difference of less than or equal to 2.0 V from the cutter load voltage during cutting of a label support, which is the linerless label before treated to have adhesiveness.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device includes a plurality of pixels each having a plurality of light-emitting regions including at least a first light-emitting region of a first color, a second light-emitting region of a second color, and a third light-emitting region of a third color and a light-transmitting region. Visibility of the first color is higher than visibility of the second color. The plurality of light-emitting regions are divided into a first group including the first light-emitting region and a second group including the second light-emitting region. The first light-emitting region is adjacent to the second light-emitting region. The light-transmitting region is located between the first light-emitting region and the second light-emitting region. The light-transmitting region is not located in a region between light-emitting regions adjacent to each other in the first group and in a region between light-emitting regions adjacent to each other in the second group.
PRINTER AND METHOD OF PRINTING
A printer includes a conveying device that conveys a printing medium and a cutting device that makes a trim cut in at least one of a plurality of corners of a region where a printed material has been printed. The conveying device conveys the printing medium to the cutting device before the cut is made.
System and Method for Bag Closure Clip Production
A system is configured to produce a series of printed clips. The system includes a source of web material, a cutting station, a drive assembly and a printing station. The web material is configured to pass through the system in a machine direction. The cutting station is configured to cut a first portion of the web material into at least a first clip, index the first portion after cutting, and sequentially cut a second portion of the web material into at least a second clip. Cut portions of the web material exit the cutting station in a free loop. A drive assembly is configured to feed web material of the free loop through the printing station at a web speed. The printing station is configured to print indicia on a first surface of the cut portions of the web material.
Apparatus and Process for Cutting Adhesive Labels
A method and apparatus are provided for die cutting label stock comprising a facestock, an adhesive and optionally a liner to form labels where a liner of the linered pressure sensitive adhesive label stock may be a thin or ultrathin liner.
Apparatus and Process for Cutting Adhesive Labels

COMPENSATED LASER CUTTING OF LABELS
Apparatuses and embodiments related to compensated laser cutting of labels. A computer system receives an image of a label, and rasterizes the image. The computer system determines how much of each type of printer ink of a label printer to deposit at each pixel location of the image. The computer system determines which pixels intersect a cut line, and determines the characteristics of the ink of the pixels, such as the quantity or thickness of the ink at the pixel locations. The computer system determines laser data including power, cut speed, and/or frequency of a laser that is tuned to accurately cut through the ink that forms the image, the material(s) of the label, and the adhesive that removably adheres the label to base material(s), but to not excessively damage the base material(s). A laser cutting system uses the laser data to control a laser.
