Mat-faced board
Disclosed is an improved facer mat for use as a cover sheet for gypsum board. Also disclosed are gypsum boards containing such mat facers on one or both major surfaces of the board (face and back sides when installed), a method of manufacturing such board, and a method of making the mat. The mat can comprise glass, thermoplastic, and/or thermoset fiber. In preferred embodiments, binder is included with the fiber. The mat has outer and inner surfaces. The mat comprises a first region adjacent to the outer surface defined along a horizontal plane of the mat, the first region having a first substantial thickness, and a second region adjacent to the inner surface defined along a horizontal plane of the mat, the second region having a second substantial thickness. The first region has (a) more hydrophilicity than the second region, (b) more wettability than the second region, and/or (c) less density than the second region.
FLOOR PANEL
A floor panel may include a substrate and a top layer located above the substrate. The substrate may include a closed cell foamed synthetic material layer with fillers, and have an average density of more than 300 kilograms per cubic meter. The top layer may include a back layer, a printed synthetic material film above the back layer, and a transparent or translucent synthetic material wear layer above the printed synthetic material film. The back layer may include a vinyl compound with fillers, and have a thickness of at least 45 percent of the thickness of the top layer. The floor panel may include first mechanical coupling parts at the pair of long edges and second mechanical coupling parts at the pair of short edges. The first mechanical coupling parts may allow horizontal and vertical locking of two of such floor panels using a turning movement along the respective long edges.
RESIN STRUCTURE
A resin structure includes a first structural portion and a second structural portion. The first structural portion includes a characteristic design surface and structures an end portion at a side of the resin structure at which the characteristic design surface is disposed. An orientation direction of fibers in a first pattern portion of the first structural portion differs from an orientation direction of fibers in a second pattern portion. The second structural portion includes a region disposed at the opposite side of the first structural portion to the side at which the characteristic design surface is disposed. Fibers contained in the second structural portion differ in fiber width from the fibers contained in the first structural portion. A portion of the fibers contained in a region of the second structural portion superposed with the first structural portion are configured to be visible through the resin of the first structural portion.
POLYMERIC VEHICLE GLAZING WITH A FLUSH MOUNTED OPAQUE EDGE ZONE
A polymeric vehicle glazing is described, having an outer face and an inner face, with a transparent polymeric component at the outer face and the inner face. An opaque polymeric component is flush mounted at the inner face in at least one section of the transparent polymeric component.
Vehicular structure
There is provided a vehicular structure including (i) a vehicular panel member configured by resin including reinforcing fibers, and (ii) a joined portion of a vehicle body that supports, all the way around, a peripheral portion of a predetermined area of the panel member and to which the peripheral portion of the predetermined area is joined, wherein the panel member has a bulging shape where both front and back surfaces of the panel member bulge out such that the thickness of the panel member gradually becomes thicker from a peripheral end portion to a central portion within the predetermined area supported all the way around by the joined portion
COMPOSITE LAMINATED ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
Disclosed herein are composite laminated articles and methods for manufacturing the same. According to some embodiments, the composite laminated article includes a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) fiber fabric layer, a PET nonwoven laminated board, and a PET film interposed between the PET fiber fabric layer and the PET nonwoven laminated board. In some embodiments, the composite laminated article further includes a low-density PET nonwoven fabric layer interposed between the PET film and the PET nonwoven laminated board. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the composite laminated article is free of any thermoset binder, and hence, the composite laminated article is one hundred percent recyclable.
FIBER COMPOSITE COMPONENT, STRUCTURAL COMPONENT, AND PRODUCTION METHOD
A fiber composite component, comprising a basic element which comprises fibers embedded in a matrix material. A production method for a fiber composite component. A structural component, comprising a support element and the reinforcement element and also to a production method for a structural component. The fiber composite component comprises a base element, comprising fibers embedded in a matrix material, and a reinforcement element, comprising fibers embedded in a matrix material wherein the base element and the reinforcement element are interconnected, a hole leads through the base element and the reinforcement element, wherein fibers of the base element that are adjacent to the hole are severed, and fibers of the reinforcement element that are adjacent to the hole are continuous.
POLYIMIDE LAMINATED FILM AND METHOD OF PREPARING POLYIMIDE LAMINATED FILM
A polyimide laminated film includes a porous polyimide layer that has a porosity of from 30% to 90% and pores having a spherical shape and a non-porous polyimide layer that has a porosity of 5% or less.
FLOOR PANEL HAVING DRAINAGE PROTRUSIONS
The present invention relates to a floor panel 10, in particular for the outdoor area or wet areas, with a carrier plate 11 having a front face and rear face, wherein the carrier plate 11 is provided on its front face with a dcor and/or protective layer 16. For drainage of liquids and in particular of water, on the rear face of the carrier plate 11 drainage protrusions 22, 24, 26, 32 are applied.
Product with absorbed gel
A product with absorbed gel leaving the exposed surface of such product free of stickiness and/or free of the release of oils in any appreciable amounts.
