Provided is a PSA sheet capable of suitably preventing bubble formation caused by outgassing. This invention provides a PSA sheet comprising a PSA layer that forms an adhesive face. In an aging test where the adhesive face is press-bonded to a glass plate and stored at 50° C. for 24 hours, the PSA sheet has at least 5% post-aging non-bonding area Sa, with Sa defined as the ratio of all areas non-bonding to the glass plate relative to the total area of the adhesive face. The non-bonding areas have parts linearly extending along the adhesive face.

Seal-type thermal transfer image-receiving sheet

Provided is a seal-type thermal transfer image-receiving sheet capable of providing a seal section having novel designability. A seal-type thermal transfer image-receiving sheet includes a release section and a seal section integrated. The seal section is provided peelably from the release section. The seal section has a layered structure in which a pressure-adhesive layer and a receiving layer capable of receiving a sublimable dye are layered in the order mentioned from the side of the release section. When the seal section is peeled off from the release section, a reference plate and the seal section peeled off are superposed together, and a reflection density of the reference plate is measured from the side of the seal section, the value of the reflection density is 15% or more, on the presupposition that the reflection density of the reference plate before the superposition with the seal section is set to 100%.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN ARTICULATING BOARD PRODUCT HAVING A FACING WITH SCORE LINES IN REGISTER TO FLUTING
20210221089 · 2021-07-22 ·

A system and method for producing a board product made from paper products that have a pre-scored facing in addition to a medium (sometimes called fluting). Conventional corrugated board may feature a cross-corrugated medium and one or more facing that have no score lines that are imprinted (at least prior to assembly with the corrugated medium). Such a conventional board product may be inferior because any score lines that are imprinted will damage the underlying corrugated medium in some manner. A breakdown in the strength of the underlying medium leads to poor precision when the eventual board product is scored, cut, and bent. A lack of precision in folding a board product is known as fishtailing as any articulated portion of the board product may not maintain a precise plane of articulation when bent. Hence, the articulated portion “fishtails” out of alignment. Having precisely located impression lines in register to underlying flutes of a medium ensures correct and precise articulation.

Oriented polylactic acid polymer based film

In one embodiment, a film is described comprising a mixture of semicrystalline polylactic acid polymer; polyvinyl acetate polymer having a glass transition temperature (Tg) midpoint as measured by differential scanning calorimetry of at least 25° C.; and plasticizer; wherein the film is oriented. In another embodiment, a film is described comprising a mixture comprising semicrystalline polylactic acid polymer, polymer having a midpoint Tg as measured by differential scanning calorimetry of at least 25° C., and plasticizer; wherein the mixture exhibits a single midpoint Tg and the single midpoint Tg ranges from 40° C. to 65° C.; and wherein the film is oriented and the oriented film exhibits a higher midpoint Tg ranging from 40° C. to 65° C. and a lower midpoint Tg ranging from 5 to 25° C.

Adhesive articles permitting damage free removal

The present disclosure provides adhesive articles that can be removed from surfaces without damage by having reduced or eliminated contribution of a core backing to peel force generated by the adhesive during removal. In some instances, this can be accomplished by a core that loses structural integrity in a direction normal to a plane defined by a major surface. In other instances, the contribution is reduced by compromising the interface between the core and a peelable adhesive layer.
