The headrest includes a rear section arranged along the backrest, a first side section extending outwardly away from the rear section, and a second side section extending outwardly away from the rear section and away from the first side section.
Edge attached film-foam sheet
The present disclosure generally relates to devices and methods for furniture protection. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to foam-film sheets configured to protect furniture from damage. An exemplary foam-film sheet as disclosed herein includes a sheet of foam material having a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge; a sheet of film material having a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge; a first seal between a portion of the foam material proximate its first lateral edge and a portion of the film material proximate its first lateral edge; and a second seal between a portion of the foam material proximate its second lateral edge and a portion of the film material proximate its second lateral edge, wherein the film and foam are substantially unsealed along the entire transverse width between the first and second sealed portions near the lateral edges of the foam material.
WATERPROOF AND WEAR-RESISTANT COMPOSITE FLOOR AND PRODUCTION METHOD
A production method for a waterproof and wear-resistant composite floor, comprising: first manufacturing a PVC composite layer preform (3); then performing a corona treatment and a punching treatment on a soft cushion layer (2); and finally, compounding, at one time, the PVC composite layer preform (3), the soft cushion layer (2) and a waterproof substrate layer (1) into one. Said process is simple and easy to implement, shortening the production cycle, reducing the manpower and material resources required by the production process and reducing the production cost; moreover, the waterproof and wear-resistant composite floor produced has a simple structure, and also has very good waterproof and wear-resistant performance; in addition, the waterproof and wear-resistant composite floor will not swell, and will also not split into layers or deform easily.
Self-adhesive membrane for mitigating passive intermodulation
Materials and methods for mitigating passive intermodulation. A membrane for reducing passive intermodulation includes a first polymeric layer, a second polymeric layer, and a continuous metal layer encapsulated between the first and second polymeric layers. A self-adhesive radio frequency barrier tape includes a waterproof polymeric top layer, a metal-containing layer adhered by an adhesive layer to the polymeric top layer, a pressure sensitive adhesive layer adhered to the metal-containing layer, and a release liner on a bottom surface of the pressure sensitive adhesive layer. A method of mitigating passive intermodulation includes passing a probe over an area of interest, the probe being sensitive to an intermodulation frequency of interest, and identifying a suspected source of passive intermodulation when the amplitude of the probe output exceeds a threshold at the frequency of interest. The method further includes covering the suspected passive intermodulation source with a radio frequency barrier material.
Sealing tape roll
A sealing tape roll comprises a sealing tape of flexible, compressible foam with at least one interior barrier layer. The sealing tape is wound up into the sealing tape roll in such a way that a top surface of one turn rests against a bottom surface of an adjacent turn of the sealing tape roll, and side surfaces of the sealing tape form end surfaces of the sealing tape roll. The sealing tape comprises a plurality of foam plies, which are arranged one above the other in a thickness direction between the bottom and top surfaces of the sealing tape. A barrier layer is between each pair of adjacent foam plies. The at least one barrier layer extends over at least 50% of the width of the sealing tape roll between the opposite end surfaces of the sealing tape roll and in a longitudinal direction of the sealing tape.
Electrically conductive surface and a process for producing the same
Load-bearing apparatus/systems for location in the vicinity of energized power lines are provided. The apparatus includes a base member. The base member has an upper layer and a backing surface layer. An uppermost surface of the upper layer is adapted to support on it at least power line workers and/or related stringing equipment. At least the uppermost surface of the upper layer is adapted to be electrically conductive. Methods for forming the apparatus are also provided.
Surface covering having an acoustical component
A surface covering is provided and includes an upper section of laminated polymeric layers and an acoustical section for dissipating sound waves.
Windshield for eliminating ghost images of a head up display system
A substrate, such as a windshield, includes: a first glass element; a second glass element; and a light absorptive element that is disposed directly between the second glass element and the first glass element, that is configured to receive and absorb light output by an image source.
Flexible pavement structure
A flexible pavement structure comprises a surface layer, a base layer, a sub-base layer, and a subgrade layer. Herein, the surface layer is adjacent to and above the base layer, and the sub-base layer is adjacent to and above the subgrade layer. The flexible pavement structure further comprises a layered system composed of first, second, and third materials different from each other, and is disposed as an interface layer between the base layer and the sub-base layer. The first material is a geotextile fabric selected from a group consisting of polypropylene and polyethylene, providing ground stabilization or reinforcement properties. The second material is a waterproof heat insulation material selected from a group consisting of cross-linked polyethylene foam and laminated aluminum foil, providing waterproofing or impermeability properties. The third material is a glass foamed insulation material.
SECURING A SECOND OBJECT TO A FIRST OBJECT
A method of manufacturing a lightweight building element assembly is disclosed. The assembly firstly comprises a first object (1) being a lightweight building element that has a first outer building layer (11) and an interlining layer (13). The assembly further comprises a second object (2) secured to the first object. The method comprises firstly providing the first object, wherein the first object has an indentation (19) formed by the first outer building layer. The indentation may form a blind opening or a through opening in the first object. The method further comprises providing the second object (2), wherein the second object comprises an outer surface portion of a thermoplastic material, wherein the outer surface portion is a lateral outer surface portion with respect to an axis. The second object is brought in contact with the first object so that the lateral outer surface is in physical contact with the sidewall (14), and mechanical energy is coupled into the second object so as to cause energy absorption due to friction between the lateral outer surface and the lateral wall, until a flow portion of the thermoplastic material becomes liquefiable and flows relative to the lateral wall. After re-solidification of the thermoplastic material, the flow portion secures the second object to the first object.
