Fabric production method and the fabric
A fabric production method and a fabric, the production method includes the following steps: (1) selecting an impermeable fabric, an intermediate absorbent layer and a polyester brocade microfiber fabric; (2) sequentially performing alkali fiber-splitting treatment and degreasing treatment on the polyester brocade microfiber fabric; (3) cleaning the treated polyester brocade microfiber fabric ; (4) arranging the cleaned polyester brocade microfiber fabric as a surface material and the impermeable fabric as a base material, disposing the intermediate absorbent layer therebetween, and employing an ultrasonic laminating machine to laminate the three layers of materials into one; (5) slitting and crosscutting; (6) folding two ends of a strip of the composite material along a length direction thereof, and arranging a buckle, thus obtaining a semi-finished product; and (7) cleaning the obtained semi-finished product. The fabric has features such as powerful cleaning ability and good adsorption.
RIBBON FILAMENT AND ASSEMBLY FOR USE IN EXTRUSION-BASED DIGITAL MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS
A consumable material for use in an extrusion-based digital manufacturing system, the consumable material comprising a length and a cross-sectional profile of at least a portion of the length that is axially asymmetric. The cross-sectional profile is configured to provide a response time with a non-cylindrical liquefier of the extrusion-based digital manufacturing system that is faster than a response time achievable with a cylindrical filament in a cylindrical liquefier for a same thermally limited, maximum volumetric flow rate.
Dry fibrous material for subsequent resin infusion
Disclosed herein is a dry, self-supporting fibrous material, the fibers of which have been treated with a binder composition. The fibrous material can be slit into tapes or tows that are suitable for use in an Automated Tape Laying (ATL) or Automated Fiber Placement (AFP) process. This fibrous material is suitable for forming preforms which are configured to receive a matrix resin by resin infusion in the manufacturing of structural composite parts.
CONTINUOUS MANUFACTURING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR OPTICAL DISPLAY UNIT
A continuous manufacturing apparatus for an optical display unit which allows for laminating a sheet of optical functional film with a panel member, even when length of each of their long sides is wide, without lowering lamination accuracy and/or increasing generation of bubbles by lamination. In a RTP system using laminating rollers having sufficient length not being bent by their own weight, when using a sheet of optical functional film which each of long sides is longer than the length of the laminating rollers, each of the sheets of optical functional film is conveyed on a band of carrier film in a continuously aligned state such that each of short sides extend in a direction crossing a conveying direction, and peeled from the band of carrier film at a laminating part to be laminated with one of opposite surfaces of the panel member.
SUPPORT PLATE FOR INSTALLING TILE
A support for installing facing materials such as ceramic tiles on a substrate such as floors, walls and ceilings wherein the support plate has a plurality of spaced apart recesses in the plate material, with the recesses being open at the top surface and have solid sidewalls and a base, and a plurality of slots in the non-recessed portions of the plate material extending through the top surface and bottom surface, the slots joining one or more adjacent recesses. The support plate of the invention is used for tile installations between the substrate and such tile. Thin-set mortar that is used to secure the tile to the support plate flows into the recesses and into the slots forming a continuous bond between the mortar and the adjacent slots providing for a strong bond between the support plate, mortar and the tiles.
Method for creating ceramic-containing transaction cards
A transaction card includes a card body that may comprise a card body comprising a ceramic material, the card body including a primary surface and a first mating surface. A card backer comprises a metallic material and includes a secondary surface and a second mating surface. A portion of the first mating surface and a portion of the second mating surface are coupled together.
Method for creating full color heat activated transfers
The present disclosure provides a method for transferring an image to a substrate that includes providing a transfer medium having at least one registration mark; printing an image on the transfer medium; covering the image with a backing layer, the backing layer not covering the registration mark; covering the backing layer with an adhesive layer; penetrating the adhesive layer and the backing layer with a cutting device at locations around the image, the penetrating of the adhesive layer and backing layer not penetrating the transfer medium; removing portions of the adhesive layer and backing layer from the locations around the image; and transferring the image to the substrate.
Soft Armor Edge Enhancement
Provided herein are ballistic armor articles including a first layer of ballistic material modified to permit a projectile to pass therethrough, a second layer of ballistic material for inhibiting the projectile from passing therethrough, and a connecting portion of ballistic material for preventing the projectile from passing therethrough, the connecting portion extending between the first and second layers, wherein, the connecting portion is positioned to inhibit the projectile from exiting the ballistic armor article due to ricocheting or spinning caused by impact between the projectile and the second layer.
Method for making a multilayer adhesive laminate
A method allows for rapid manufacture of relatively thick adhesive coatings using a continuous process, where a single thin coating is continuously converted into a single thicker adhesive laminate. An exemplary process includes the steps of: (1) producing a web having a first surface with an adhesive layer and a second surface with a release liner; (2) slitting the web longitudinally into a first section and a second section; (3) laminating a backing film to the adhesive layer of the first section; (4) removing the release liner of the laminate of step (3) exposing the adhesive layer of the first section; and (5) laminating the second section to the laminate of step (4), wherein the adhesive layer of the laminate of step (4) is combined with the adhesive layer of the second section.
