MULTIPLE-LAYER COMPOSITE BOARD OF DISCRETE MATERIALS AND PLASTIC, AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF
The invention relates to a multiple-layer composite board of discrete materials and plastic. The multiple-layer composite board of discrete materials and plastic is formed by providing independently stratified plastic layers and discrete material layers, which are pressed in melting state of the alternate plastic layers and discrete material layers and cooled. Due to this stratification, centralized plastic layers constitute high load capacity and discrete material layers pressed with pressure lower than normal extrusion process constitute low density for the multiple-layer composite board of discrete materials and plastic.
POLYOL POLYESTER AND POLYHYDROXY ALKANE BLENDS WITH POLAR POLYMERS
Compounds that can be produced by a ring-opening reaction of epoxidized alkanes or epoxidized fatty acid esters having a molecular weight greater than 200 grams per mole are blended with polar polymers to improve the gloss of the polar polymers. These compounds include at least one polar functional group and are blended with polar polymers, or blends comprising at least one polar polymer, in order to improve the gloss of these polymers, such that they have suitable gloss right out of the manufacturing operation without the need for further painting or lamination steps. These compounds may also improve the impact strength of the polar polymers. Also disclosed are composite structures wherein an outer cap layer is made from the polar polymer blended with the gloss improving additive.
FLOOR PANEL AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING FLOOR PANELS
A floor panel with a substrate and a decorative layer of wood veneer with a thickness of 1 millimeter or less and provided on the substrate. The decorative layer is provided on the substrate by means of a glue layer which is situated between the substrate and the decorative layer. The glue layer comprises hard particles with an average particle size which is at least one third of the thickness of the wood veneer. Methods for manufacturing such floor panels are provided.
Veneered element and method of producing such a veneered element
A veneered element, including a substrate, a wood veneer layer having a first surface and a second surface, the first surface being opposite to the second surface, an adhesive layer adapted to adhere the first surface of the wood veneer layer to a surface of the substrate, wherein adhesive from the adhesive layer is present in a first portion of the wood veneer layer, extending from the first surface of the wood veneer layer into the wood veneer layer, and wherein the second surface of the wood veneer layer is substantially free from adhesive from the adhesive layer. Also, a method of producing such a veneered element).
Flexible veneer panel with metal mesh layer
A veneer panel is provided. The panel may comprise a face veneer, a metal mesh proximate the veneer, a backing layer proximate the metal mesh, and a thermoset adhesive bonding the wood veneer to the metal mesh and the backing layer. A method of making a veneer panel is also provided. The method may comprise the steps of forming a veneer assembly by stacking a face veneer, a metal mesh, and a backing layer, applying an adhesive material between a back surface of the face veneer and the metal mesh, and pressing the veneer assembly.
Method to produce a coating layer, a building panel and a coated foil
The present disclosure relates to a method to produce a coating layer, including applying a coating composition on a surface of a carrier, curing the coating composition to a coating layer, and subsequently applying pressure to the coating layer. The disclosure further relates to a method to produce a building panel, and such a building panel, and to a method to produce a coated foil, and such a coated foil.
CARBON FIBER DECORATIVE VENEER
A veneer panel includes a face layer formed from a carbon fiber sheet. The veneer panel further includes a backing layer. The veneer panel further includes a thermoset dry film adhesive located between the face layer and the backing layer and attaching the face layer to the backing layer.
Process for producing a laminate for a floor covering
A method for producing a laminate (1), preferably for a floor covering, wherein the laminate (1) has a decorative layer and a wear layer made of polyurethane, includes the following steps: applying a first liquid polyurethane material (12) on a release layer (11) to form the wear layer, inserting a decorative sheet (14) into the first polyurethane material (12), applying a second liquid polyurethane material (17) on the decorative sheet (14), which is impregnated with the first polyurethane material (12) and with the second polyurethane material (17), supplying heat energy for curing the first polyurethane material (12) and the second polyurethane material (17), and separating the release layer (11) from the wear layer, wherein the heat energy is supplied to the first polyurethane material (12) and the second polyurethane material (17) from below through the release layer.
Impregnate with Antistatic Properties
An impregnate with antistatic properties for use in laminates or for coating wood-based panels is disclosed. A resin used for impregnating and/or coating paper may include carbon-based particles, at least one compound of the general formula (I) R.sup.1.sub.aR.sup.2.sub.bSiX.sub.(4-a-b), and/or hydrolysis products thereof. X is H, OH, or a hydrolysable moiety selected from the group including halogen, alkoxy, carboxy, amino, monoalkylamino or dialkylamino, aryloxy, acyloxy, or alkylcarbonyl. R.sup.1 is an organic moiety selected from the group including alkyl, aryl, or cycloalkyl, which may be interrupted by O or NH. R.sup.1 has at least one functional group Q.sup.1 selected from a group including a hydroxy-, amino, monoalkylamino, carboxy, mercapto, alkoxy, aldehyde, acrylic, acryloxy, methacrylic, methacryloxy, cyano, isocyano or epoxide group. R.sup.2 is a non-hydrolyzable organic moiety selected from the group including alkyl, aryl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl; a is 0, 1, 2, or 3, and b is 1, 2, 3, or 4.
