ANTIMICROBIAL SHEET AND CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL COMPRISING THE SAME
Disclosed is an antimicrobial sheet formed with a base comprising a synthetic resin, the antimicrobial sheet comprising: a fine metal particle mixed to the base; and an auxiliary additive mixed to the base and the metal particle to uniformly distribute the metal particle in the formed sheet. Thus, according to the disclosure, the metal particles having the antimicrobial function is uniformly distributed throughout the entire area as integrally coupled to the base of the construction material, is excellent in durability because the particles having the antimicrobial function are positioned close to the surface of the base as integrally coupled to the base, and removes germs being in contact with the surface.
ANTIMICROBIAL MELAMINE SHEET AND CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL COMPRISING THE SAME
Disclosed is an antimicrobial melamine sheet with a base sheet impregnated with a base solution including a melamine resin, the antimicrobial melamine sheet including: a fine metal particle mixed to the base solution to be impregnated in the base sheet; and an auxiliary additive mixed with the base solution and the metal particle to uniformly distribute the metal particle in the formed base sheet. Thus, according to the disclosure, the metal particles having the antimicrobial function is uniformly distributed throughout the entire area as integrally coupled to the base solution including the melamine resin, and is excellent in durability and removes germs being in contact with the surface because the particles having the antimicrobial function are positioned close to the surface of the base as integrally coupled to the base solution.
Manufacturing of decorative surfaces
A method for manufacturing decorative surfaces includes, in order, the steps of a) inkjet printing an image on a first thermoplastic foil by jetting and UV curing one or more pigmented free radical UV curable inkjet inks on the first thermoplastic foil; b) applying on the inkjet printed image a second thermoplastic foil carrying a layer containing a vinylchloride-vinylacetate-vinylalcohol copolymer with the layer facing the inkjet printed image on the first thermoplastic foil; and c) heat pressing the first and second thermoplastic foils into a decorative laminate; wherein at least one of the first and second thermoplastic foils is transparent, and the one or more pigmented free radical UV curable inkjet inks contain a polymerizable composition having: 30 to 90 wt % of one or more compounds with one ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable group; 10 to 70 wt % of one or more compounds with two ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable groups; and 0 to 10 wt % of one or more compounds with three or more ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable groups.
METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF CURVED FURNITURE COMPONENTS AND COMPONENT THUS OBTAINABLE
The method for the production of curved furniture components comprises: an overlapping step of a first panel of wooden, plastic or metal material, of at least one intermediate separating layer and of a second panel of wooden, plastic or metal material for obtaining a flat semi-finished product having a perimeter edge; an interposition step of a polyurethane type adhesive between the intermediate layer and the first panel and second panel by hot dispensing of said adhesive on the surfaces of the first and the second panels which are adapted to be associated with the intermediate layer or by hot dispensing of the adhesive on the surfaces of the intermediate layer which are adapted to be associated with said first panel and second panel; a cold shaping step of the semi-finished product for obtaining a curved component; and a spraying step of a water-based auxiliary substance between the intermediate layer and at least one of the first panel and the second panel, subsequent to the interposition of the adhesive.
AQUEOUS INKJET INK SETS AND INKJET PRINTING METHODS
A pigmented aqueous inkjet ink set for manufacturing decorative panels includes a cyan aqueous inkjet ink containing a copper phthalocyanine pigment; a red aqueous inkjet ink containing a red pigment selected from the group consisting of C.I. Pigment Red 254, C.I. Pigment Red 122, C.I. Pigment Red 176 and mixed crystals thereof; a yellow aqueous inkjet ink containing a pigment C.I Pigment Yellow 150 or a mixed crystal thereof; and a black aqueous inkjet ink containing a carbon black pigment, wherein the aqueous inkjet inks contain a surfactant. An inkjet printing method for manufacturing decorative panels is also disclosed.

PRODUCTION METHOD FOR FIRE RESISTANT ARTICLE
A method of forming an article is provided. Multi-fiber cellulose strips are interacted with a bonding agent and layered in a plurality of layers, the layered cellulose strips collectively defining opposed major surfaces. A porous sheet member, interacted with a fire-retarding solution, is engaged with one of the major surfaces of the layered cellulose strips, to substantially cover the major surface. The porous sheet member is disposed adjacent to a substantially smooth and uniform surface, and layered cellulose strips and the porous sheet member collectively exposed to an actuating element, configured to actuate the bonding agent to react in a volumetrically-expensive reaction with the fire-retarding solution to facilitate cohesion between the layered cellulose strips and the porous sheet member to form a board member, wherein the porous sheet member conforms to the adjacent surface via the volumetrically-expansive reaction to define a substantially smooth and uniform surface of the board member.
