The invention relates to a composite film (1), preferably intended for use in the construction industry and/or preferably for use as a construction film, having at least one functional layer (2), at least one outer protective layer (3) and at least one inner protective layer (4), the functional layer (2) being arranged between the outer protective layer (3) and the inner protective layer (4). According to the invention, it is provided that the functional layer (2) is formed as at least a single-layer membrane layer, that the outer protective layer (3) and the inner protective layer (4) are formed as a nonwoven layer comprising a polyolefin, and that the outer protective layer (3) and/or the inner protective layer (4) comprises at least one bicomponent fiber (5) having a first component (6) and a second component (7), the first component (6) comprising a first polymer and the second component (7) comprising a second polymer as constituent.
COMPOSITE MATERIAL WITH MOLTEN POLYMER BARRIER EFFECT AND WITH FLAME-RETARDANT PROPERTIES, AND METHOD FOR MAKING SUCH A COMPOSITE MATERIAL
A composite material having a molten polymer barrier effect with flame-retardant properties includes a first layer of non-woven fabric having 40% or more by weight of oxidized polyacrylonitrile fibers to confer flame-retardant properties. The first layer has a basis weight of 200-600 g/m2 and a thickness of 1.6-5 mm. A barrier layer overlaps the first layer and counteracts passage of molten polymer. The first layers oxidized polyacrylonitrile fibers have a count of 1.5-5 dtex and the other first layer synthetic fibers have a count of 0.8-5 dtex. The barrier layer includes a second layer of non-woven fabric of hydro-entangled synthetic and/or artificial fibers. The barrier layer has a basis weight of 70-150 g/m2; a thickness of 0.4-1.5 mm; and a permeability of 200 L/m2s-2000 L/m2s under a pressure drop of 2 mbar. The composite material has a thickness of 2-6.5 mm, and a basis weight of 270-750 g/m2.
LAMINATE STRUCTURE
A laminate structure is disclosed including a fibre laminate impregnated with a laminate matrix material, and a veil of carbon nanotubes impregnated with a veil matrix material. The laminate matrix material and the veil matrix material doped with carbon particles. The veil provides lightning strike protection. The structure is manufactured by co-curing the laminate matrix material and the veil matrix material to bond the veil of carbon nanotubes to the fibre laminate.
COVER MEMBER AND MEMBER SUPPLY ASSEMBLY INCLUDING SAME
A cover member of the present invention is a cover member to be placed on a face of an object to prevent passage of a foreign matter through an opening of the face, the cover member including: a protective membrane having a shape configured to cover the opening when the cover member is placed on the face; and a first substrate layer joined to one of principal surfaces of the protective membrane. The first substrate layer has a laminated structure including at least two substrate films, and is positioned between the protective membrane and the face when the cover member is placed on the face. The at least two substrate films include a non-foam film and a foam film. The cover member of the present invention is suitable for improving the peelability from a member supply sheet.
PRODUCTION METHOD OF HIGH PERFORMANCE FILTRATION LAYER AND THEIR APPLICATION ON MASK
Disclosed is a production method of filtration layers that can be used in many fields, especially surgical masks. The aforementioned filtration layers are thermobond non-woven layers and layers formed by supporting it with an electrospinning method. Thermobond non-woven layer is obtained as a result of a process that includes fiber opening, fiber feeding, carding and bonding.
Elastomeric Laminate
