Magnetic nanoparticles sequentially irradiated by laser radiation for medical or chemical or biological or cosmetic applications
Magnetosomes for use in a sequential laser radiation medical treatment, wherein the magnetosomes are administered to a body part of an individual. In a first step, the magnetosomes are irradiated by a laser radiation, and in a second step, the magnetosomes are irradiated by a laser radiation of lower power than in the first step or no laser irradiation of the magnetosomes is performed. The sequence of the first step and second step is repeated at least once.
Method and apparatus for oncomagnetic treatment
The disclosure provides methods of cancer treatment and apparatus and, more particularly, to non-invasive cancer treatments utilizing oscillating magnetic fields to disrupt mitochondrial function or induce apoptosis or another mechanism of cell death in cancer cells. The disclosure also provides a device for providing an OMF treatment to a subject.
Inductive heating of tissues using alternating magnetic fields and uses thereof
Provided herein are methods and devices for inductively heating a tissue to effect a biological response in the tissue or in a biomolecule comprising the same. The methods and devices comprise means for applying a high frequency alternating magnetic field via an inductive coil comprising an applicator to the tissue and means for monitoring feedback from the alternating magnetic field to control and/or adjust heat, for example, in the tissue, which further includes a means for cooling the tissue. Particularly, the device may be a hand held piece that incorporates or has at least an applicator, including a radiofrequency energy generator and output, an inductive coil, an impedance matching system, a cooling system, including a thermally conductive surface and a coolant housing containing a coolant that circulates through the thermally conductive surface, and a feedback monitor. Optionally, the device may comprise a tissue-shaper.
Magnetic particle control and visualization
Some embodiments provide a system for external manipulation of magnetic nanoparticles in vasculature using a remotely placed magnetic field-generating stator. In one aspect, the systems and methods relate to the control of magnetic nanoparticles in a fluid medium using permanent magnet-based or electromagnetic field-generating stator sources. Such a system can be useful for increasing the diffusion of therapeutic agents in a fluid medium, such as a human circulatory system, which can result in substantial clearance of fluid obstructions, such as vascular occlusions, in a circulatory system resulting in increased blood flow.
Methods and devices for tissue treatment using mechanical stimulation and electromagnetic field
Devices and methods for tissue treatment produce a mechanical stimulation therapy and electromagnetic field therapy. The mechanical stimulation therapy provides stimulation of blood circulation and stimulates treated cells. The electromagnetic field enables thermal treatment of tissue. Combination of both therapies improves soft tissue treatment, mainly connective tissue in the skin area and fat reduction.
TECHNIQUES FOR MAGNETOCALORIC THERAPY
The disclosure relates to techniques for treating infiltrative tumors using magnetocaloric substances. After tumor removal, a vector carrying a magnetocaloric substance is introduced into a target area in a patient's body. After a period of time, the vectors migrate to cancerous cells and surround the tumor with the magnetocaloric substance. The patient is then exposed to a pulsing magnetic field that is controlled to heat the magnetocaloric substance to a target temperature. The temperature is maintained for a target duration that is sufficient to kill the cancerous cells.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DECREASING EFFECTS OF LACK OF MUSCLE USE
During a period of lack of use, a person risks muscle atrophy and/or otherwise losing muscle strength/functionality. During such a period of lack of user, a photoceutical can be applied to the person’s muscle(s) through a photoceutical medical device to decrease the occurrence of these risks. The photoceutical is specially configured to reduce these risks and includes at least one of a pulsed light signal, a continuous light signal, and a super-pulsed light signal.
APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR GENERATING ALTERNATING MAGNETIC FIELD FOR DISEASE TREATMENT
The technology disclosed in the present specification is characterized in that it provides an apparatus and system for generating an alternating magnetic field for disease treatment that are significantly safer and have fewer side effects compared to conventional methods of treating tumors by using magnetic nanoparticles. The apparatus for generating the alternating magnetic field may further include a ferrite core at the outside the coil, through which a more uniform and dense alternating magnetic field may be applied. The technology disclosed in the present specification is characterized by providing an AC magnetic field generating device and system for disease treatment that is significantly safer and has fewer side effects compared to the conventional method of treating tumors using magnetic nanoparticles.
Aesthetic method of biological structure treatment by magnetic field
In methods for treating a patient, a time varying magnetic field is applied to a patient's body and causes a muscle contraction. The time-varying magnetic field may be monophasic, biphasic, polyphasic and/or static. The method may reduce adipose tissue, improve metabolism, blood and/or lymph circulation. The method may use combinations of treatments to enhance the visual appearance of the patient.
AESTHETIC METHOD OF BIOLOGICAL STRUCTURE TREATMENT BY MAGNETIC FIELD
Combined methods for treating a patient using time-varying magnetic field are described. The treatment methods combine various approaches for aesthetic treatment. The methods are focused on enhancing a visual appearance of the patient.
