METHODS AND DEVICES FOR AESTHETIC TREATMENT OF BIOLOGICAL STRUCTURES BY RADIOFREQUENCY AND MAGNETIC ENERGY
A treatment device for providing a magnetic treatment and a radiofrequency treatment to a body area of a patient. The device includes an energy storage device for storing electric energy, a magnetic field generating device, and a switching device to discharge the electrical energy from the energy storage device to the magnetic field generating device, such that a time-varying magnetic field is generated and provides muscle contraction to a muscle in the body area of the patient. The time-varying magnetic field may have a magnetic field density in a range of 0.1 Tesla to 7 Tesla and a repetition rate in a range of 0.1 Hz to 700 Hz. The device may also include a radiofrequency electrode to generate radiofrequency waves to heat a tissue in the body of the patient. A body of the radiofrequency electrode may include a plurality of openings in a range of 5 to 1000 openings.

The present wireless remote control device is a type of equipment with non-tethered optical stimulation. The characteristic of this device is designed to utilize a magnetic resonance technique to modify the deficits of the conventional magnetic induction or radio-frequency power source. Compared to the other devices of photostimulation, the advantages are as follow: there is a strong and even electromagnetic power; the cost is cheaper than the previous others; the device uses the receiver coil on an animal's head to receive the magnetic power from the transformation of the electrical power in the outside big coil, and thus the weight of the receiver coil on the head is very light. The light and miniaturized coil on the head without battery could give animals more convenience in freely movement, and the behavior of animals can be controlled by the effective extent of the electromagnetic field through photostimulation.

A device for enhancement of visual appearance including a first applicator to be coupled to a first area of a body region, with a first magnetic field generating device and a first radiofrequency electrode, a second applicator to be coupled to a second area of the body region, with a second magnetic field generating device. The device further includes a first energy storage device, a second energy storage device, and a first switching device to discharge energy from the first energy storage device to the first magnetic field generating to generate a first time-varying magnetic field to cause muscle contraction, and a second switching to discharge energy from the second energy storage device to the second magnetic field generating device to generate a second time-varying magnetic field. The first radiofrequency electrode may provide first radiofrequency waves causing heating of tissue within the first area of the body region.
DEVICE FOR GENERATING MAGNETIC FIELD AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SAME
Disclosed is a radiation and magnetic field generating apparatus irradiating photon beam radiation to in-body affected tissue of a subject. The apparatus includes a radiation generating unit that irradiates the photon beam radiation to the subject and induces generation of secondary electrons in an area of the subject where the photon beam radiation is irradiated, a magnetic field generating unit that includes an insertion structure for forming a low-density space and forms a magnetic field in an area in which the secondary electrons are generated, and a synchronization control unit that controls formation of the magnetic field and controls the formation of the magnetic field such that the secondary electrons move while avoiding normal tissue adjacent to the affected tissue.
Method and apparatus for transdermal stimulation over the palmar and plantar surfaces
The disclosure describes devices and methods for providing transdermal electrical stimulation therapy to a subject including positioning a stimulator electrode over a glabrous skin surface overlying a palm of the subject and delivering electrical stimulation via a pulse generator transdermally through the glabrous skin surface and to a target nerve or tissue within the hand to stimulate the target nerve or tissue within the hand so that pain felt by the subject is mitigated. The pulses generated during the electrical stimulation therapy may include pulses of two different magnitudes.

PATIENT TRANSFER ASSEMBLY WITH DETACHABLE SUPPORT SURFACE
A patient transfer assembly can transfer patients (e.g., young, sleeping patients or patients unable to move freely/easily) onto a destination surface (e.g., an imaging table of an imaging device) gently (e.g., with a reduced chance of waking). The assembly can include rollers permitting the assembly to be rolled into a position above or adjacent the destination surface. A support surface upon which the patient rests can be moved to a deployed position (e.g., lowered and/or slid out) and/or the destination surface can be raised until the support surface rests upon the destination surface. The support surface can then be detached, allowing the patient and the support surface to remain on the destination surface without needing to remove the patient from the support surface.
WEARABLE PULSED ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD SENSING DEVICE
A method and apparatus for detecting a pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy is disclosed. In some embodiments, the apparatus may include a PEMF sensor to detect electrical signals from a site on the patient’s body that are remote from an applied PEMF therapy; the electrical signal may be detected as therapeutic PEMF waveforms are delivered to a patient, and may be proportional to the applied PEMF treatment. A clinician may monitor the PEMF therapy that is delivered to the patient through the separate device. The apparatus may be wearable and may include a bracelet, ring, belt, band, or strap that enables the patient to comfortably wear the apparatus when receiving PEMF therapy.
VENTILATION ARRANGEMENT AND TREATMENT METHOD
A ventilation arrangement (1) comprises an induction device (2) and a control unit (3). The induction device (2) has an electro-magnetic field generator (21) with a coil design (211) configured to generate a spatial electro-magnetic field having a targeted shape. The control unit (3) is in communication with the induction device (2) and configured to control the induction device (2) to generate the electro-magnetic field. The electro-magnetic field generator (21) of the induction device (2) is configured to be positioned at a human or animal patient (5) such that, for activating a diaphragm of the patient (5), a Phrenic nerve of the patient (5) is stimulatable by the spatial electro-magnetic field generated by the coil design (211). The control unit (3) is connectable to a ventilation machine (6) to receive ventilation data about a ventilation of the patient (5). The control unit (3) is configured to evaluate the ventilation data and to operate the induction device (2) in accordance with the evaluated ventilation data.
