The respirator includes a respirator main body and a sealing foam of the present invention. The method for manufacturing a sealing foam includes: providing a porous foam to prepare a main body part of a sealing foam, and providing an anchor layer and an air-proof film on the porous foam, so that the air-proof film is continuously provided on an upper surface of the main body part, wherein the anchor layer is provided between the air-proof film and the main body part, and is partially embedded in pores of the porous foam. The sealing foam, the respirator, and the method for manufacturing a sealing foam according to the present invention are convenient for subsequent cutting, can simplify the manufacturing process of the sealing foam, improve the sealing between the respirator and the face of a wearer, and improve the wearing comfort of the respirator.
HEAT BARRIER LAMINATE
A heat barrier laminate for use as a skin, the laminate comprising in the following order: a) a radiant barrier layer, b) a heat-insulating layer comprising a first polymer, c) a spacer layer comprising a fabric, and d) a heat-insulating layer comprising a second polymer, wherein the first polymer and/or the second polymer comprise a heat-insulating filler selected from hollow glass particles, hollow ceramic particles, hollow polymer particles, and a combination thereof.
Non-wicking underlayment board
A non-wicking underlayment board and methods for forming the same. The non-wicking underlayment board includes a foam core formed of closed cell foam with reinforcement layers encapsulated within the foam core. Outer facings formed of mineral coated nonwoven fibers are positioned on opposite faces of the non-wicking underlayment panel. The non-wicking underlayment board is useful for efficient and cost effective installation of barriers and surfaces in water-resistant and waterproof environments.
Laminated substrate using fiber-reinforced thermoplastic plastic, and molded product manufacturing method using same
Provided is a laminated substrate wherein a sheet-shaped material with a porosity of 50-99% is laminated onto at least one surface of a prepreg substrate which includes a reinforcing fiber and a thermoplastic resin.
Nonwoven Fabric and Composite Sound-Absorbing Material Using Same as Skin Material
Provided is a nonwoven fabric and a laminated nonwoven fabric suitable as the skin material of a composite sound-absorbing material. The nonwoven fabric and laminated nonwoven fabric are easily formable, thin, and lightweight and excel in form stability, and can nevertheless be controlled within a given range of aeration after being formed into shape. A nonwoven fabric having a laminate structure in which at least one ultra-fine fiber layer (M) having an average fiber diameter of 0.3 to 7 μm (inclusive) and a basis weight of 1 g/m.sup.2 to 40 g/m.sup.2 (inclusive) and at least one continuous filament layer (S) having an average fiber diameter of 10 to 30 μm (inclusive) are integrated together by partial thermocompression bonding.
Broadband radome structure
A radome structure for a multilayered broadband radome structure is described. The radome structure may include a central core layer comprising a first dielectric constant, an interior intermediate core layer adjacent to an interior side of the central core layer, comprising a second dielectric constant less than the first dielectric constant, an exterior intermediate core layer adjacent to an exterior side of the central core layer, comprising a third dielectric constant less than the first dielectric constant, and an interior outside core layer adjacent to an interior side of the interior intermediate core layer, comprising a fourth dielectric constant less than the second dielectric constant. In some examples of the radome structure described above may further include an exterior outside core layer adjacent to an exterior side of the exterior intermediate core layer, comprising a low dielectric constant.
AEROGEL COMPOSITIONS AND MANUFACTURING THEREOF
The present invention provides compositions and methods related to aerogel materials, including polyimide-based aerogels. In particular, aerogel materials optimized to have certain physical and chemical properties such as flexural and compressive strength are provided. In some embodiments, the aerogel materials can be at least partially carbonized.
PEI particle foams for applications in aircraft interiors
Polymer foams based on polyetherimides (PEIs) fulfill the legal specifications demanded by the aviation industry for aircraft interiors. Specifically, the demands on fire characteristics, stability to media and mechanical properties constitute a great challenge here. According to related art, suitable polymer foams are produced as semi-finished products. Reprocessing to give shaped articles is uneconomic in terms of time and material exploitation, for example by virtue of large amounts of cutting waste. The material is suitable in principle and can be processed to give particle foam mouldings. These mouldings can be produced without reprocessing in short cycle times and, hence, economically. Furthermore, this gives rise to new means of functional integration, for example by direct incorporation of inserts etc. in the foam, and with regard to freedom in terms of design.
Composite film
The present disclosure relates to a multilayer composite that may include a first porous layer, and a first barrier layer overlying the first porous layer. The first barrier layer may include a polyaramid material, a polyimide material, or any combination thereof. The multilayer composite may have a flame resistance rating of at least about 180° C. and a 50% strain compression rating of not greater than about 600 kPa.
