Also provided is a packaging comprising the multilayer metallized cast film.
MULTILAYER FILM
A multilayer film having a structure consisting of at least three layers: a polypropylene resin layer (X), an intermediate layer (Y) formed of a thermoplastic polymer composition containing 100 parts by mass of a thermoplastic elastomer (A), which is a block copolymer containing a polymer block (a1) formed of an aromatic vinyl compound unit and a polymer block (a2) formed of a conjugate diene compound unit or a hydrogenated product thereof, and 1 to 50 parts by mass a polypropylene resin (B) and a decorative layer (Z), in which the layers (X) (Y) and (Z) are stacked in this order, is excellent in preform moldability, successfully and firmly adhering to an adherend to decorate, small in warpage during thermal lamination and satisfactory in coextrusion film formability and weather resistance.
COATED FILMS AND ARTICLES FORMED FROM SAME
The present invention provides coated films and packages formed from such films. In one aspect, a coated film comprises (a) a multilayer polymeric film having opposing facial surfaces, wherein a first facial surface has a root mean square surface roughness of at least 80 nm when measured using image analysis with an atomic force microscope and wherein a second facial surface has a root mean square surface roughness of less than 80 nm when measured using image analysis with an atomic force microscope; and (b) a coating on at least a portion of the first facial surface, wherein the coating comprises polyurethane, wherein the film comprises at least one of polyethylene, polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate, or polyamide, and wherein the coated film has a Zebedee clarity of at least 2% when measured according to ASTM D1746/15 in the coated portion of the first facial surface.
DECORATIVE SHEET AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING DECORATIVE SHEET
A decorative sheet includes a primary film layer and a surface protection layer disposed on one surface of the primary film layer, wherein the surface protection layer includes on a surface thereof a ridged portion protruding in a shape of a ridge and thus has an uneven shape formed on the surface, the uneven shape of the surface protection layer has a ratio RSm/Ra in a range of 10 or more and 300 or less, the surface protection layer contains an ionizing radiation-curable resin as a main material, the ionizing radiation-curable resin contains as a main component an acrylic resin having a repeating structure, the acrylic resin has a dipentaerythritol structure, the repeating structure is one of structures of ethylene oxide, propylene oxide, and ?- caprolactone, and a number of repeating units of the repeating structure is 12 or more.
Block out label, label sheet, and related method
The present invention includes a label, a label sheet and a method for manufacturing the label. The label includes a paper facestock having first and second surfaces and a layer of pressure sensitive adhesive proximal to the second surface. The label can be adhered to a substrate having pre-applied indicia to cover the indicia and the label is opaque enough to prevent the viewing of the covered indicia while matching the color of the substrate.
BLOWN FILMS WITH IMPROVED PROPERTIES
A multilayer blown film having an inner layer, a first outer layer, and a second outer layer, wherein the inner layer comprises an ethylene-based polymer having a MWCDI value greater than 0.9, and a melt index ratio (I10/I2) that meets the following equation: I10/I2?7.0?1.2?log (I2); and the first outer layer and the second outer layer independently comprise a polyethylene composition which comprises the reaction product of ethylene and, optionally, one or more alpha olefin comonomers, wherein the polyethylene composition is characterized by the following properties: (a) a melt index, I.sub.2, of from 0.1 to 2.0 g/10 min; (b) a density of from 0.910 to 0.930 g/cc; (c) a melt flow ratio, I.sub.10/I.sub.2, of from 6.0 to 7.6; and (d) a molecular weight distribution, (Mw/Mn) of from 2.5 to 4.0.
