Plaster boards having internal layers and methods for making them
Disclosed herein are plaster boards that include first and second layers of hardened plaster material, a liner attached to the first layer of hardened plaster material, and a first material (e.g., a polymer material such as a viscoelastic polymer) adhered between the liner and the second layer of hardened plaster material. The liner includes one or more structurally weakened regions each extending substantially from a first edge to a second opposing edge of the plaster board. The structurally weakened regions of the liner may facilitate creation of a fissure that propagates substantially within a plane within the plaster board. Methods for making the plaster boards may involve drying wet plaster material while it is in contact with a liner having structurally weakened regions, processing a liner to form its structurally weakened regions while in contact with wet plaster material, or processing a liner to form its structurally weakened regions while in contact with hardened plaster material.
RIGID BOARD PLASTIC FLOORING AND ITS PRODUCTION METHOD
The invention relates to a rigid board plastic flooring comprising a wear layer, a decoration layer, a first connecting layer and a bottom layer which are connected in sequence, and also relates to the production method thereof. The bottom layer of the flooring is prepared using extrusion molding without adding plasticizer. The product is therefore more environmentally friendly. The edge of the click product is not easily damaged during storage and transportation as the bottom layer comprises a plastic hard board and the strength of the click profile is strong.
Adhesive film
An embodiment provides an adhesive film having, in order from the surface layer side, a first hard coat, a second hard coat, a transparent resin film layer, and an adhesive layer. The first hard coat is formed from a coating that does not include inorganic particles. The second hard coat is formed from a coating that includes inorganic particles. The adhesive film satisfies the following conditions: (i) the total light transmittance is at least 85%; and (vii) the pencil hardness of the first hard coat surface is at least 5H. Another embodiment provides an adhesive film having, in order from the surface layer side, a first hard coat, a second hard coat, a transparent resin film layer, and an adhesive layer. The first hard coat is formed from a coating that does not include inorganic particles. The second hard coat is formed from a coating that includes inorganic particles. The adhesive film satisfies the following conditions: (i) the total light transmittance is at least 85%; (iv) the water contact angle at the first hard coat surface is at least 100 degrees; and (v) the water contact angle at the first hard coat surface after 20,000 reciprocal cotton rubs is at least 100 degrees.
Fracture film for peelable membrane containers
The invention comprises a fracture film for sealing a peelable membrane to a container comprising a first layer of high density polyethelene, a second layer of polybutene-1/ethylene-vinyl acetate, wherein the second layer is bonded to the first layer, and a third layer of ethylene-acrylic acid, wherein the third layer is bonded to the second layer.
WATER VAPOR PERMEABLE CROSS-LAMINATED POLYMER FILM ASSEMBLY
A water vapor permeable polymer-based film assembly includes a first ply of a first water vapor permeable polymer having first polymer chains oriented in a first direction, a second ply of a second water vapor permeable polymer having second polymer chains oriented in a second direction that is transverse to the first direction, and an adhesive coupling the first ply of the first water vapor permeable polymer to the second ply of the second water vapor permeable polymer.
MULTILAYER, FLEXIBLE, IMPACT AND PUNCTURE RESISTANT, FLUID IMPERVIOUS, DIELECTRIC INSULATOR SHEET FOR AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE BATTERY PACK AND MOUNTING ARRANGEMENT THEREWITH
A multilayer, flexible, impact and puncture resistant, impervious, dielectric insulator sheet and mounting arrangement therewith for an electric vehicle battery pack includes a textile layer having generally planar opposite first and second sides and a fluid impervious film fixed to the first side with an adhesive laminate. The adhesive laminate includes a polymeric film sandwiched between opposite first and second layers of adhesive material. The first layer of adhesive material is bonded to the textile layer and the second layer of adhesive material is bonded to the fluid impervious film.
Compostable insulation for shipping container
A thermal insulation article includes a thermally insulating pad shaped to be positioned in a cavity of a rectangular prism shipping container. The pad includes a solid compostable panel formed primarily of starch and/or plant fiber pulp that holds together as a single unit, and a water-proof or water-resistant film forming a pocket enclosing the panel. The panel includes a first section, a second section, and a third section connecting the first section to the second section, the first and second section each having a central portion and two flaps that extend from the central portion beyond the third section, and wherein the panel is foldable into an open box.
Polymer modified asphalt roofing material
A shingle coating asphalt composition is provided that is produced from a paving grade asphalt. The asphalt composition comprises a paving-grade asphalt that has been modified with one or more polymer additives; and a secondary additive comprising one or more of a viscosity reducing agent, a wax, a salt of a fatty acid ester, and an amide of a fatty acid. The shingle coating asphalt coating composition is used to make a shingle. The shingle includes a substrate, the asphalt, and roofing granules.
BINDING TAPE, BINDING METHOD, TAPE WINDING BODY AND REEL
A binding tape (10) includes an intermediate layer (11), and a first surface layer (16) covering one surface of the intermediate layer (11). The intermediate layer (11) has a plurality of first linear members (12) arranged side by side at an angle with respect to a longitudinal direction (D1) of the binding tape (10).
MULTILAYER PROTECTIVE FILM
The present disclosure relates to a multilayer protective film that may include a multilayer component and a release liner component underlying the multilayer component. The multilayer component may have a first PET layer overlying a second PET layer. The multilayer protective film may further have a thickness ratio MPF.sub.T:RL.sub.T of not greater than about 14:1, where MPF.sub.T is equal to the thickness of the multilayer component and RL.sub.T is equal to the thickness of the release liner component.
