Aerosol Devices and Methods for Inhaling a Substance and Uses Thereof
Devices, cartridges, and method are described herein for emulating smoking wherein a device generates an aerosol for inhalation by a subject by heating a viscous material that can have a tactile response in the mouth or respiratory tract, while reducing Hoffman analytes and mutagenic compounds delivered to the user as compared to a common tobacco cigarette.
Display device
A display device comprising a first receiving layer and a second receiving layer located onto and in direct planar contact with the first receiving layer; a first support later and a second support layer located onto and in direct planar contact with the first support layer; and a sleeve for receiving the first and second receiving layers and first and second support layers.
MANUFACTURING PROCESS FOR GLUE-LESS MULTI-LAYER DECORATED FILM AND THERMOFORMED PRODUCT OBTAINED THEREWITH
A manufacturing process for composite film for thermoformed products, including the steps of manufacturing a first plastic substrate film in the amorphous state, by extrusion, causing said first plastic substrate film to undergo a decoration/metal-finish process, causing said first plastic substrate film, to undergo a lamination step, characterized in that before said lamination step, on said first amorphous substrate film a layer of molten plastic material is laid, corning out of an extrusion head, and in that said first plastic film coupled with the layer of molten plastic material, immediately downstream of said extrusion head pass between an entry cylinder and a master cylinder of a lamination unit furthermore comprising at least an exit cylinder, the thickness of said first substrate film being in the range of 150-800μ and the thickness of said molten layer being in the range of 150-1200μ after lamination, said entry cylinder, master cylinder and exit cylinder being heat adjusted on temperatures in the range 20-55° C., with growing temperatures from the entry cylinder, to the master cylinder to the exit cylinder.
COMPOSITIONS AND FILMS COMPRISING POLYLACTIC ACID POLYMER, POLYVINYL ACETATE POLYMER AND PLASTICIZER
A composition is described comprising semicrystalline polylactic acid polymer; polyvinyl acetate polymer having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of at least 25 C; plasticizer; and optionally amorphous polylactic acid polymer. In another embodiment the composition further comprises nucleating agent. Also described are films comprising the composition as well as articles, such as a tape or sheet, comprising the film described herein and a layer of pressure sensitive adhesive disposed on the film.
LAMINATE AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE
An object of the invention is to provide a novel laminate and a novel image display device which have both of a gas barrier function and a polarizer function and have a reduced thickness as compared to those in the related art. A laminate of the invention has a laminate which has a substrate, an inorganic layer, and an organic layer, and the organic layer contains an organic dichroic pigment.
Microtextured multilayered elastic laminates with enhanced strength and elasticity and methods of making thereof
Stronger elastic laminates having an improved microtextured appearance, as well as methods of preparing the laminates, are disclosed herein. Particularly, the present disclosure is directed to multilayered elastic laminates including at least one thermoplastic elastomeric film layer and at least one plastic layer coextruded together, stretched and then relaxed. The prepared laminates have enhanced overall strength and elasticity.

A composition is described comprising semicrystalline polylactic acid polymer; polyvinyl acetate polymer having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of at least 25° C.; plasticizer; and optionally amorphous polylactic acid polymer. In another embodiment the composition further comprises nucleating agent. Also described are films comprising the composition as well as articles, such as a tape or sheet, comprising the film described herein and a layer of pressure sensitive adhesive disposed on the film.
Transparent antiballistic article and method for its preparation
This invention relates to a process for the preparation of an antiballistic article, the method comprising: a) Providing a transparent uniaxially stretched polymeric film with at least one layer I comprising a semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymer A and at least one layer II comprising an amorphous or semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymer B, of which polymer B has a glass transition temperature less than the melting temperature of polymer A if polymer B is amorphous or of which polymer B has a melting temperature less than the melting temperature of polymer A if polymer B is semi-crystalline; b) Stacking at least two of the uniaxially stretched polymeric films of a) at an angle a of between 45° and 135°, such that the films are in contact with each subsequent film through at least one layer II, to form an assembly; c) Compressing the thus formed assembly at a temperature above the glass transition temperature of polymer B if polymer B is amorphous, or above the melting temperature of polymer B if polymer B is semi-crystalline, and below the melting temperature of polymer A, to obtain an haze of at most 50% and having an energy absorption for 17 grain FSP according to the STANAG 2920 standard of at least 12 J/(kg/m.sup.2). The invention also relates to antiballistic articles.
