FULLY-ADHERED ROOF SYSTEM ADHERED AND SEAMED WITH A COMMON ADHESIVE
A roof system comprising a roof substrate, a first membrane including first and second opposed planar surfaces, and a second membrane including opposed first and second planar surfaces, where said second membrane is adhered to said roof substrate through an adhesive disposed on said roof-substrate contacting portion of the first membrane, and where said second membrane is adhered to said first membrane through said adhesive disposed on a lap portion of said second membrane.
MULTILAYER FILM AND USE THEREOF AS A BARRIER EFFECT FOR TEXTILE APPLICATIONS
A thermo-adhesive multilayer film based on thermoplastic polyurethane includes a barrier layer having a material with anti-dye migration properties selected from: ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer, polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl acetate, polyamides, cellulose derivatives, polyvinylidene chloride and combinations. The barrier layer is interposed between two layers, each having a mixture of a thermoplastic polyurethane with a compatibilizing agent selected from: co-polymers modified with maleic anhydride, co-polymers modified with epoxy groups, co-polymers containing hydroxyl groups and combinations thereof. A decorative multilayer film includes the thermo-adhesive multilayer film and a further decorative layer, which provides an aesthetic effect. A process of co-extruding the layers obtains the thermo-adhesive multilayer film and the subsequent bonding thereof with the decorative layer obtains the decorative multilayer film. The decorative multilayer film decorates substrates in the field of textiles, clothing, footwear and accessories. A finished decorated article includes a substrate on which the decorative multilayer film is applied.
Method For Producing a Moldable, Thermoplastic, Continuous Fiber Reinforced Composite Structure, Moldable Composite Structure, and Device For Producing Same
The invention is characterized by a semifinished composite structure product with the at least two layers, of which the at least one layer, in which the continuous fibers are contained, is heated such that the matrix of thermoplastic material is heated within at least one first surface region to or above a melting temperature that can be assigned to the thermoplastic material, and the matrix of thermoplastic material is kept to a temperature below the melting temperature within a second surface region directly adjoining the first surface region. The semifinished composite structure product is heated in this way so that the moldable thermoplastic, continuous fiber-reinforced composite structure in which the continuous fibers within the first surface region are movable relative to each other and those within the second surface region are spatially fixed relative to each other.
MULTILAYER BODY, METHOD FOR PRODUCING MULTILAYER BODY, FILM FOR LAMINATION, AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE
There is provided a laminate in which when the protective plate breaks due to an impact, not only the scattering of large broken pieces but the scattering of powdery fine broken pieces can be suppressed. A laminate including an adherend and an adjacent layer, wherein the adherend has a first major surface, a second major surface being a back surface of the first major surface, and a lateral surface connecting an edge of the first major surface and an edge of the second major surface, at least the first major surface and the lateral surface of the adherend are covered with the adjacent layer, the adjacent layer has at least a plastic film and a hard coat layer containing a cured product of a curable resin composition in this order from the adherend side, and a softening point F1 of the plastic film and a softening point F2 of the hard coat layer satisfy a relationship of F1<F2.
