Anti-blush and chemical resistant polyester film
Embodiments herein relate to a polymer film comprising an anti-blushing composition in a blend comprising polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polybutylene terephthalate (PBT); wherein the blend contains at least 50 wt. % of PBT; wherein the anti-blushing composition comprises a phosphorus containing compound but excludes certain phosphorus compounds; and wherein the anti-blushing composition is configured to prevent blushing in the polymer film laminated directly to a metal substrate sheet and exposed to steam at a temperature of 260° F. for 90 minutes.
Venting system for ovenable containers
The invention comprises an ovenable packaging structure having an integral one-way valve. The laminate structure comprises an outer layer having a cut line which defines a flap that is separable from the outer layer, wherein the outer layer is adhered to an inner layer having a cut line which is offset from the outer cut line and defines a portion that is separable from the inner layer along the inner cut line and defines an opening into the packaging structure. The adhesive between the layers comprises, in an embodiment, a channel of pressure sensitive adhesive which surrounds both the outer cut line and the inner cut line, wherein the channel of pressure sensitive adhesive defines the perimeter of at least one adhesive-free valve chamber within said channel. The valve chamber comprises at least a portion of the outer cut line and the inner cut line.
Recirculating baitfish bucket
The present invention relates generally to a new and improved fishing bait bucket or container. More specifically, this invention relates to a bait bucket that has a generally cylindrical insulated main body, a suction hose assembly, a water pump, an overflow hose assembly, a main lid, and a secondary lid. This invention allows for the continuous passive cycling of water through the bait bucket to optimize the conditions therein and the lifespan of the baitfish.
Method for producing a multi-layer substrate
The present invention relates to a method for producing a multi-layer substrate, said substrate comprising a multifunctional coating, and to the use of the substrate produced by this method.
Method of making an insulation material and an insulated mailer
A repulpable insulation material includes a batt formed of a mixture of thermoplastic binder fibers and cellulose fibers bound together by the thermoplastic binder fibers. The thermoplastic binder fibers make up about 0.5% to 25% by weight of the batt. The repulpable insulation material have a weight within a range from 1000 GSM to 1600 GSM. Subjecting the repulpable insulation material to a repulpability test produces greater than 85% fiber yield.
DIELECTRIC HEATING OF FOAMABLE COMPOSITIONS
A method for dielectrically heating foamable composition to foam and set the composition is described. In particular, radio frequency (RF) heating is used to heat the foamable composition to provide insulation in the manufacture of an article.
Polyvinyl Alcohol Coated Cellulosic Products
A method of manufacture of a coated material is provided. A polyvinyl alcohol polymer, where the polyvinyl alcohol polymer has a degree of hydrolysis of 90% or greater and a melting point in the range of 180° C. to 225° C. is melted on a cellulosic substrate and extruded to form a molten polyvinyl alcohol polymeric film which is then applied directly to the surface of the substrate to form the coated material.
Functionalized corrugated cardboard
Functionalized corrugated cardboard, at least one paper web of which is replaced by a functionalized, multi-layer plastic film.
Composite Transport Container for Beverages
A container for transporting beverage has at least one part made of a sandwich structural laminate. The sandwich structural laminate has a PU and/or PET foam core, a resin outer skin, and a resin inner skin.
Tamper evident hybrid resealable container
The present invention relates to a composite container comprising a bottom film layer and a top film layer at least partially adhered to the bottom film layer. The top film layer is scored to form at least one resealable flap and at least one pull tab which is not adhered to the bottom film layer. The bottom film layer comprises at least one cavity opening. A cardboard layer is adhered on its lower surface to the upper surface of the top film layer, wherein the cardboard layer has at least one cavity opening which is substantially aligned with the scoring of the top film layer resealable flap and the cardboard layer is perforated to define a perimeter of at least one pull tab which is substantially aligned with and adhered, on its underside, to the upper surface of the top film layer pull tab.
