Laser panel, laser array device, and laser display
A laser panel, a laser array device, and a laser display. The laser panel and the laser array device separately comprise multiple groups of independent laser light source modules; each group of laser light source modules comprises plural light sources; the plural light sources are all produced by inkjet printing; the laser display and a voltage-driven laser display separately comprise the laser panel. Producing a laser panel by inkjet printing provides a novel technical solution for cheap and industrial manufacturing of laser panels. It is difficult to generate laser coherent superposition between the light emitted by the laser light source module, and therefore, speckles caused by laser coherence in conventional laser display technologies are greatly eliminated. The present invention achieves a voltage-driven laser display, and facilitates achieving a better display effect while reducing the volume of the display.
Covert marking
Examples described herein relate to a system consistent with the disclosure. For instance, the system may comprise a printing device including hardware to form an image on a print medium, a memory resource, and a controller to receive a print job to form the markings on the print medium, designate a pixel of the received print job to form a covert dot pattern on the markings, where the pixel corresponds to a first laser intensity level; and adjust a laser intensity of the printing device to a second laser intensity level based on the first laser intensity level of the designated pixel to form the covert dot pattern.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MANUFACTURING CONTAINER PRODUCT
A method for manufacturing a container product is disclosed. The method includes filling a container with contents; forming information on the container, the information including a number, a letter, and an image, the information being formed by a first pattern, the first pattern being made up of a collection of second patterns; and heating or cooling the container before or after the forming of the information on the container.
System and method for producing high quality images with aqueous inks in a printer
A printer includes at least a first printhead and a second printhead, each of which is operatively connected to a source of aqueous ink having a color that is different than the color of aqueous ink connected to the other printhead. A first source of infrared (IR) radiation is positioned between the first and second printheads and a second source of IR radiation follows the first and second printheads. The first source of IR radiation is tuned to heat color pigment particles in the aqueous ink connected to the first printhead only and the second source of IR radiation is tuned to heat color pigment particles in the aqueous ink connected to the second printhead only.

High resolution laser induced forward transfer
In a method and system for laser induced forward transfer (LIFT), energy (E1,E2) is deposited according to a non-Gaussian intensity profile (Ixy) which is spatially tuned across an interface (11xy) of the donor material (11m) to cause the donor material (11m) to be ejected from the donor substrate as an extended jet (Je) momentarily bridging the transfer distance (Zt) between the donor substrate (11) and the acceptor substrate (12) during a transfer period (Tt). A locally increased intensity spike (Is) at a center of the intensity profile (Ixy) causes a relatively thick jet (J1) of donor material to branch into a relatively thin jet (J2) at a branching position (J12) between the donor substrate (11) and acceptor substrate (12). The thick jet (J1) allows a relatively large transfer (Zt) distance while the thin jet (J2) deposits a relatively small droplet (Jd) of donor material (11m).
Optical scanner and electrophotographic image forming apparatus
Optical scanner and electrophotographic image forming apparatus are provided. The optical scanner includes a light source, configured to emit a light beam; an optical deflector, configured to deflect the light beam emitted from the light source; a first optical unit, arranged there-between and including a refraction unit and a diffraction unit; and a second optical unit, arranged in a light exit direction of the optical deflector and configured to make the light beam deflected by the optical deflector form an image on a scanning target surface. A range of a ratio of a refractive power Φ.sub.r to a diffractive power Φ.sub.d of the first optical unit in a main scanning direction is 0.3<Φ.sub.r/Φ.sub.d<0.5; and a range of a ratio of a refractive power Φ.sub.s to a diffractive power Φ.sub.n of the first optical unit in a sub scanning direction is 0.7<Φ.sub.s/Φ.sub.n<1.0.
Material displacement
A method comprises: providing a first stream of discrete volumes (908b) of material, and directing a pulsed laser beam (912) at a first discrete volume (908b) of material in the first stream of discrete volumes of material so as to interact with the first discrete volume of material and thereby displace the first discrete volume away from the first stream. An apparatus and a system for achieving such steps are also disclosed.
Guide bar determination
An example service station system may include a guide bar to provide tension on web material. An example print apparatus may include a sensor mounted to a carriage and a controller to use data from the sensor to identify that the web material is incorrectly routed with reference to the guide bar.
