A label preparation device includes: an editing target switching unit which switches an editing target label among a plurality of labels arranged in particular order, in response to an operation on a keyboard; and an editing screen display unit which displays an editing screen including a preview image of the editing target label. If there is a label immediately preceding the editing target label in the order, the editing screen display unit displays a left arrow object on a forward end side of the preview image. If there is a label immediately following the editing target label in the order, the editing screen display unit displays a right arrow object on a rear end side of the preview image.

An elastic roller includes an inner layer side elastic member around a roller shaft, and a coating layer surrounding around the inner layer side elastic member, the coating layer contacting a belt-shaped member. The coating layer is made of silicone resin having JIS-C hardness of 20 degrees or less. A base layer and an intermediate layer of the inner layer side elastic member have JIS-A hardness of 30 to 80 degrees. The rubber hardness of the base layer is higher than the rubber hardness of the intermediate layer. The intermediate layer has tearing strength of 25 N/mm or more, the tearing strength being measured using an unnicked angle-shaped test piece in accordance with JIS K 6252. The intermediate layer has internal grooves having a groove angle of 40 to 160 degrees and having a V-shaped cross section.

An embodiment of a printer according to the present invention includes: a container configured to contain a roll body into which a belt-shaped print medium is wound; a frame including a first opening, the frame arranged to be a portion of the container; and a body case provided outside the frame and arranged to be a portion of a bottom surface of the container, the body case including a first protrusion part protruding toward the first opening.

A printing device includes a first ejector that ejects a recording medium to an exterior, a second ejector that enhances a rigidity of the recording medium more than by the first ejector, and ejects the recording medium to the exterior, and an ejector selector that selects either the first ejector or the second ejector.

An inline printing system comprising: a substrate feeder; an adhesive application station in communication with the substrate feeder and configured to coat a UV adhesive onto the substrate; a pressing station in communication with the adhesive application station and configured to apply laminate to the coated substrate; a UV curing station in communication with the pressing station and configured to cure the laminated substrate coated with the UV adhesive; and a digital print station in communication with the pressing station and configured to print on the laminated substrate.

A tape printing apparatus includes an operation surface and a plurality of operation keys protruding from the operation surface. An image forming system for printing a sequence of image blocks on a continuous printing sheet based on image data, includes an information processing apparatus and an image forming apparatus. A printing setting unit included by the information processing apparatus designates first information and second information. The first information indicates whether a printing order of the image blocks is to be a normal order or a reverse order. The second information indicates how many image blocks of the sequence are to be printed on each of a plurality of segments of the printing sheet. The image forming apparatus includes a cutting unit and a control unit. The cutting unit cuts the printing sheet. The control unit controls the cutting unit so as to separate the segments of the printing sheet. The control unit determines cutting positions on the printing sheet based on the first information and the second information.

According to an embodiment, there is provided a printer including a plurality of printing modes. A first printing mode is a printing mode for discharging a label by a transfer device, the label being still attached to a backing sheet. A second printing mode is a printing mode for discharging the label by the transfer device while peeling off the label from the backing sheet. The printer controls power supply from a storage battery such that a printing device performs printing at a first printing speed when the printing mode is the first printing mode and such that the printing device performs the printing at a second printing speed when the printing mode is the second printing mode, the second printing speed being slower than the first printing speed.
