BUTTON PRODUCT FABRICATING DEVICE
A button product fabricating device is configured to fabricate a button product by connecting a front member and a back member. The button product fabricating device includes: a printer configured to perform printing on a printing medium; a die set configured to connect the front member and the back member; and a conveyor configured to convey the printing medium onto the front member along a conveying path from the printer toward the die set. The conveyor includes: a plurality of conveying rollers; and a one-way clutch. The one-way clutch is configured to: transmit a drive force to the conveying rollers when rotating in a first rotation direction; and not to transmit the drive force to the conveying rollers when rotating in a second rotation direction which is a direction opposite to the first rotation direction.
INSPECTION DEVICE AND INSPECTION METHOD
An inspection device includes: a holder that holds an inspection medium that is a medium on which an image is formed; an image sensor that reads the image on the inspection medium; and a controller that inspects the inspection medium by comparing, with a reference image, an inspection image obtained by performing image processing on a read image read by the image sensor. The holder has a non-plane surface as a holding surface, and the controller changes one or both of the inspection image and the reference image based on a transparency of the medium.
Printer and digital camera including printer
A printer unit includes a device housing including a transport roller and a spreading roller, a roller drive mechanism that is attached to the device housing and includes a drive transmission gear train that drives the transport roller and the spreading roller, and a cover member that covers the roller drive mechanism. The roller drive mechanism includes a gear plate separate from the cover member. The gear plate is fixed to the device housing at two locations and is formed in a plate shape that pivotally supports at least one of rotational shafts of the drive transmission gear train.
PRINTER, FOOD PRODUCT SCALE AND ASSOCIATED LABEL CASSETTE WITH ADJUSTABLE LABEL STOCK EDGE GUIDE
A printer includes a media path along which labels are movable, and a printhead positioned along the media path. At least a part of the media path includes a side structure defining a first side of the part of the media path and a media edge guide for defining a second side of the part of the media path, wherein the media edge guide is movable so as to adjust a spacing between the media edge guide and the side structure for accommodating different media widths. A guide adjustment assembly connected to the media edge guide for providing tool-free manual movement of a position of the media edge guide to adjust the spacing.
PRINTER, FOOD PRODUCT SCALE AND ASSOCIATED PRINTHEAD ASSEMBLY
A printer includes a media path along which a media is movable, and a printhead assembly positioned along the media path at a first side of the media path, wherein the printhead assembly includes a printhead unit. A print roller is positioned along the media path at a second side of the media path such that media passes between the printhead assembly and the print roller. A biasing assembly is arranged for biasing the printhead unit toward the print roller, wherein the biasing assembly includes a biasing component that is movable in a direction across a width of the media path in order to laterally shift a zone of biasing pressure that urges the printhead unit toward the print roller as needed to accommodate media of different widths.
PRINTER, FOOD PRODUCT SCALE AND ASSOCIATED REMOVABLE PRINTHEAD UNIT
A printer includes a media path along which a media is movable, and a printhead assembly positioned along the media path at a first side of the media path, wherein the printhead assembly includes a carrier component and a printhead unit, wherein the printhead unit is slidably engageable with the carrier component to facilitate install and removal of the printhead unit in the printer. The printhead unit comprises a removal side that includes a gripping region, wherein the gripping region is defined by an upwardly extending recess on a bottom side of the printhead unit, wherein the upwardly extending recess is bounded on the removal side by a pull wall.
Technique for marking a prolate object
A device for providing a marking arranged or arrangeable in a circumferentially closed manner around a prolate object includes: a material interface for receiving a printed product output from a printer; a data interface for communicating with the printer for a providing or arranging of the marking as a communication; at least one actuator, using the printed product output from the printer, for arranging the marking on the object in a circumferentially closed manner or to provide the marking for circumferentially closed arrangement according to the communication with the printer via the data interface; and a memory readable by the printer via the data interface, the memory storing operational data of the providing or arranging.
