The cup dispenser includes a motor configured to operate the one or more cup-moving elements to cause the cup to move through the cup dispenser along a path. The cup dispenser also includes a printer configured to print at least one of order information or personalization information on the cup that is based on the food service order associated with the cup. The cup dispenser further includes a dispensing slot that provides the cup, which includes the at least one of order information or personalization information printed thereon.
Printed matter creating device performing adjustment of ON dots in connecting part of first print and second print
A printed matter creating device includes a controller configured to: acquire print data; form a first print on a printing medium while conveying the printing medium, the first print being based on first ON dots in the acquired print data; interrupt the conveyance of the printing medium after forming the first print; cut the printing medium after interrupting the conveyance; and form a second print on the printing medium while conveying the printing medium after cutting the printing medium, the second print being based on second ON dots in the acquired print data. The print data includes a specific print data corresponding to a connecting part connecting the first print and the second print. Based on the acquired print data, the controller adjusts at least one of: aspects of the first ON dots in the specific print data; and aspects of the second ON dots in the specific print data.
PRINTING APPARATUS AND PRINTING METHOD
A printing apparatus that includes a holding unit configured to hold a roll sheet performs supplying the sheet by rotating the roll sheet held by the holding unit; nipping and conveying the supplied sheet; performing printing on the conveyed sheet; detecting occurrence of a print medium jam of the sheet; and, if the printing apparatus has detected a print medium jam of the sheet, performing a control process of supplying the sheet in a state in which the conveying is stopped.
PRINTING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD OF PRINTING APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The present invention relates to a printing apparatus including: a conveyance roller; and a slitter unit configured to cut a printing medium, which is conveyed by the conveyance roller, wherein the slitter unit includes a cutting mechanism including an upper movable blade and a lower movable blade, each of which is in a round shape, and configured to cut the printing medium at a contact point of the upper movable blade and the lower movable blade, a driving unit configured to rotate the upper movable blade and the lower movable blade, and a control unit configured to control a driving amount of the driving unit, and wherein the control unit controls the driving amount of the driving unit such that a movement speed of the upper movable blade and the lower movable blade passing through the contact point becomes greater than a conveyance speed of the printing medium.
Printing apparatus and conveyance apparatus
To provide a printing apparatus and a conveyance apparatus that are capable of preventing a cut position to be cut by a cutting unit from deviating, in a printing apparatus in which printing is performed by a printing unit on a printing medium that is conveyed by a conveyance unit and the printing medium is cut by a cutting unit while being conveyed by the conveyance unit and a conveying force apply unit, the conveying force apply unit is arranged on an outer side relative to the cutting unit and is configured to apply a conveying force to the printing medium in a direction outward in a width direction from an upstream side to a downstream side in a conveyance direction.
PRINTER
Provided is a printer having a simple structure, which is low in cost, and capable of shortening of the cutting time, improving cutting accuracy of the printed paper and improving the quality of an output printed object. A printing mechanism performs printing on paper delivered from a roll of paper by a thermal transfer method and produce printed paper. The movable blade moves in the width direction, and cuts the printed paper. A control unit controls the movable blade drive unit based on the width and the thickness of the paper and the moving distance of the movable blade detected after it is detected that the movable blade is at the standby position, and causes the movable blade drive unit to generate a driving force that changes according to the width, the thickness, and a position of the movable blade in the width direction of the paper.
Device, system and method for making custom printed products
A device, system and method for making custom printed products. In one embodiment of the method, an image is received from a user device along with a size of for the printed product. Pixel edge detection is performed on the image to generate a plurality of polygons corresponding to all shapes in the image. Polygons below a size threshold are removed. An offset is applied to each polygon. The polygons are combined. A smoothing algorithm is applied to the combined polygon. A set of curves that define the smoothed polygon is determined. A cut path is dynamically generating for the printed product in real-time in dependence on the set of curves and the received size so that the cut path has a shape dependent on the set of curves and a size dependent on the received size. The image is printed on a substrate material for the image product in dependence on the received size and the offset so that the printed image has a printed size equal to the received size less the offset. The substrate is cut in dependence on the cut path.
PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus, having a printing unit, includes a first holding unit, a conveyance unit, a first cutting unit arranged between the printing unit and the first holding unit, a second cutting unit arranged between the printing unit and the first cutting unit, and a control unit. The first holding unit holds a sheet. The conveyance unit conveys the sheet to the printing unit. The first cutting unit cuts the sheet fed from the first holding unit. The second cutting unit cuts the sheet fed from the first holding unit. The control unit determines, in accordance with a length in a conveyance direction of a product to be printed on the sheet by the printing unit, whether to cut the sheet fed from the first holding unit by the first cutting unit or the second cutting unit.
PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes: a liquid storage part; a conveying unit; an image recording unit including a platen; a cutting unit; and a controller, wherein the controller cuts a recording medium by moving the cutting unit to an outer side of the platen in a scanning direction intersecting a conveying direction of the recording medium, wherein, on the outer side of the platen in the scanning direction, a standby position for the cutting unit to stand by is arranged adjacent to the liquid storage part in a front-rear direction of the printing apparatus, and wherein at least a part of the cutting unit at the standby position is disposed such that a position thereof in a width direction of the printing apparatus overlaps the liquid storage part in a plan view of the printing apparatus as viewed from front.
COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM, APPARATUS, PRINTING APPARATUS AND PRINTING SYSTEM
A non-transitory computer-readable medium stores a computer program for setting a shape of a label causing a computer to execute: receiving an input of first information for setting a width of a second part in a first direction; receiving an input of second information for setting a height in a second direction of a display area of the second part; receiving an input of third information for setting a height in the second direction of an overlap width area of the second part, an end portion of the display area in a third direction being capable of adhering to the overlap width area; receiving an input of fourth information for setting a height of a first protruding portion in the second direction; and setting a shape of the label, based on the input first information, second length information, third length information and fourth information.
