The inspection object is conveyed in a state of being sucked and held on the first and second suction conveyance units and therefore is stable in position and posture in conveyance and an expected accuracy is maintained in inspection performed by the first and second inspection sections.

A discharge device includes a placement part on which a medium discharged from an apparatus body is placed and from which the medium is returned to the apparatus body, a loading part which is disposed on a lower side of the placement part to have a space between the loading part and the placement part and on which the medium discharged to the space from the apparatus body in a predetermined discharge direction is loaded, a support portion that is provided on the loading part to protrude toward an upper side of the loading part, includes an inclined surface having an upward gradient toward a downstream side in the discharge direction, and supports the medium which is loaded on the loading part at an upper end of the inclined surface, and an opening/closing part of which one end is rotatably mounted on a downstream portion of the loading part in the discharge direction and is opened and closed to a closed position where the opening/closing part closes a downstream portion of the space in the discharge direction and an open position where the downstream portion is open and a part of the medium loaded on the loading part is loaded on the opening/closing part; and an angle of a loading surface of the opening/closing part at the open position with respect to a horizontal is set to an angle at which a movement of the medium to the downstream side in the discharge direction is limited such that a centroid of a longest medium loaded on the loading part and the loading surface is positioned upstream of a downstream end of the opening/closing part in the discharge direction, and an imaginary line extending to the upper end from an upstream end of the inclined surface of the support portion in the discharge direction is along the loading surface of the opening/closing part at the open position.

Printing apparatus

A printing apparatus includes a stacking portion on which a print medium printed by a printing unit configured to perform printing is stacked, a discharge unit configured to discharge the print medium printed by the printing unit to the stacking portion, a passage forming portion arranged facing the stacking portion and configured to form a discharge passage of the print medium together with the stacking portion, and an outlet port located at a downstream end of the stacking portion and a downstream end of the passage forming portion in a conveying direction of the print medium. The passage forming portion includes an opening/closing portion which is displaceable between a closed position for forming the discharge passage and an open position for opening access to the stacking portion.

Image forming apparatus

An image forming apparatus includes a discharge rollers pair, a sheet pressing member and a discharge tray. The sheet pressing member includes a first rotational shaft, a detection piece and a corrugation piece. The corrugation piece protrudes in a radial direction different from a protruding direction of the detection piece from the first rotational shaft. When the detection piece is turned at a first angle into a first posture, the corrugation piece is changed into a contact posture where the corrugation piece comes into contact with the sheet to apply stiffness on the sheet. When the detection piece is turned at a second angle into a second posture, the corrugation piece is changed into a retracting posture where the corrugation piece separates from the sheet.

MEDIUM-DISCHARGING DEVICE AND RECORDING APPARATUS

A medium-discharging device includes: a medium-discharging section that discharges a medium; a medium-receiving tray that receives the medium discharged by the medium-discharging section; a light-emitting section that emits light to the medium-receiving tray; and a control section that controls the light-emitting section, in which the medium-receiving tray is configured to switch between a first state in which the medium-receiving tray is stored in an apparatus main body that includes the medium-discharging section and a second state in which the medium-receiving tray protrudes from the apparatus main body, and the control section controls the light-emitting section in accordance with a state or operation of the medium-receiving tray.

Recording apparatus

A recording apparatus includes an apparatus main body including a recording portion, a media receiving portion configured to be displaced along a discharge direction in which the first medium and the second medium are discharged, and that is displaced between a storage position in which the media receiving portion is stored in the apparatus main body and stacking positions in which the media receiving portion protrudes from the storage position and receives the media, a drive source that drives the media receiving portion, at the stacking positions, discharges the second medium after having received the first medium at a first position, the media receiving portion is displaced to a second position downstream of the first position in the discharge direction at a timing at which a downstream end portion of the to-be-discharged second medium in the discharge direction overlaps the first medium at the first position.
