20220281250 · 2022-09-08 ·

A media processing device includes: a body defining a media supply chamber and carrying a print head; a cover carrying a platen roller, the cover having an open position enabling access to the chamber, and a closed position enclosing the chamber, and cooperating with the body to define a media path extending from the chamber, between the print head and the platen roller, to a media outlet; a target conductor affixed to one of the body and the cover; and an inductive proximity sensor affixed to the other of the body and the cover, disposed to detect the target conductor when the cover is closed.

PRINTER DEVICE
20220281243 · 2022-09-08 · ·

A printer device includes a hopper configured to receive a roll of paper, a printing head, a conveyor, a flapper, and a remaining paper sensor. The printing head prints on the paper. The conveyor draws out an end of the paper from the roll and conveys the paper to the printing head. The flapper contacts an outer peripheral surface of the roll and presses the roll against an inner wall of the hopper at a drawing-out point where the paper is drawn out from the roll. The remaining paper sensor provides an indication that an amount paper remaining in the roll has reached a predetermined amount of paper.

PRINTING APPARATUS

Provided is a printing apparatus including: a holder unit provided with a holding member, a contact portion, and a shaft member, and an apparatus body provided with a support portion, and a fixing portion, wherein the shaft member is configured to be detachably attached to the support portion, the holder unit is configured to be rotatable between a first position and a second position with reference to the shaft member in a state where the shaft member is supported on the support portion, the first position is a position where the shaft member is attached to the support portion, and the second position is a position where the apparatus body fixes the holder unit by the fixing portion, the second position being a position where the contact portion is separated from the installation surface.

Winding device and printing system

A winding device includes a winding portion that winds a continuous medium, a friction roller that contacts the continuous medium while the continuous medium is being fed to the winding portion and that applies friction resistance to the continuous medium, and a roller driving portion that causes the friction roller to rotate in a direction in which the continuous medium is fed, in which the roller driving portion includes a roller gear train that transmits rotation of a feed motor, which is input via a winding-portion gear train, to the friction roller.

PRINTER

A printer includes a case including an input port for rolled paper, a cover provided to be rotatable between a closed position of the input port and an open position of the input port, a holding portion that holds the rolled paper, a biasing member that biases the holding portion in a first direction, a stopper mechanism that stops rotation of the holding portion in the first direction, and a linkage mechanism that rotates the holding portion in conjunction with the rotation of the cover. When the cover is in the closed position, the holding portion rotates in the first direction in accordance with an outer diameter of the rolled paper by a biasing force of the biasing member. When the cover rotates from the closed position to the open position, the holding portion rotates together with the cover against the biasing force of the biasing member.

ROLL SUPPORT DEVICE
20220289517 · 2022-09-15 · ·

A roll support device includes: a shaft portion that supports a center hole of a rolled medium in which a medium is wound; a first guide member with which one end surface of the rolled medium in an axial direction of the shaft portion is in contact; a second guide member that is provided on the shaft portion and regulates, in the axial direction, an inner peripheral side of another end surface of the rolled medium in the axial direction; and a third guide member that regulates, in the axial direction, an outer peripheral side of the other end surface of the rolled medium supported by the shaft portion.

Printer

A printer includes a printer body (110) including a recording-paper holder (111) that holds rolled recording paper (100) and includes a holder guide (112) for guiding the recording paper (100), a platen roller (140), a print head (130) attached to the printer body (110), and a lower guide (160) that is disposed to face the holder guide (112) such that a conveying path for guiding the recording paper (100) is formed between the lower guide (160) and the holder guide (112).

AUTOMATICALLY RECONFIGURING A WEB PRINTER

A printer capable of separating a print medium from a mount and ejecting the print medium includes: a platen roller configured to feed, along a feeding path, a mount to which a print medium temporarily adheres; a print head configured to print on the print medium, the print head being opposed to the platen roller; a driven roller that is movable between a first position and a second position different from the first position; a separation member configured to separate a feeding path of the mount and a feeding path of the print medium; and a looseness prevention mechanism configured to prevent the mount from being loose while the driven roller moves from the second feed position to the first feed position. The first position is a position where the driven roller is opposed to the platen roller. The driven roller is configured to be driven by the platen roller while coming in contact with the mount.

Printing apparatus

A roll sheet with a continuous sheet wound in a roll form is rotated in a forward direction to supply the sheet to a printing unit. A sensor whose output is changed in accordance with a distance between the sensor and the sheet is used. A rotation direction of the roll sheet is switched from an opposite direction to the forward direction on the basis of the output of the sensor during rotation of the roll sheet in the opposite direction.
