IMAGE FORMATION SYSTEM, SHEET CONVEYANCE SYSTEM, AND IMAGE FORMATION DEVICE
An image formation system includes: an image former that forms an image on a continuous sheet; a slack generator that is arranged upstream of the image former in a sheet conveyance direction and generates slack on the continuous sheet; and a sheet characteristic detector that is arranged upstream of the slack generator in the sheet conveyance direction and detects a sheet characteristic of the continuous sheet.
Recording device with knocking unit for knocking medium during recording
A recording device includes a recording unit configured to perform recording on a first surface of a medium, a holding unit configured to hold a roll body obtained by rolling the medium, a transport unit configured to transport the medium unwound from the roll body, and a knocking unit configured to knock on a second surface of the medium between the holding unit and the recording unit, the second surface being a surface opposite the first surface. The knocking unit knocks on the second surface by moving between a spaced position for being spaced apart from the second surface and a contact position for making contact with the second surface.
Printing Device
A printing device and method is described comprising: controlling movement of a printing medium along a printing medium path to position the printing medium relative to at least one printhead to allow printing on the printing medium by the at least one printhead; and applying a plurality of respective elastic forces in a direction substantially perpendicular to the printing medium path, wherein the respective elastic forces are applied by a plurality of elastic elements of a modular assembly arranged laterally across a width of the printing medium path, wherein the printing medium acts against the elastic forces of the respective elastic elements of the modular assembly.
PRINTING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD FOR PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes a feeding unit, a conveyance roller, a printing unit, a guide unit, a winding unit, and a control unit. The guide unit includes a heater (first heater) that heats a surface that comes into contact with a printing medium (medium), and applies a tensile force while heating the medium after printing by the first heater. The control unit controls a winding force of the winding unit to adjust the tensile force applied to the printing medium by the guide unit. The control unit performs the control to change the winding force of the winding unit and the heating temperature of the first heater in accordance with the type of the medium, the printing condition during the printing, or the environmental condition.
PRINTING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD OF PRINTING APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An object of the present disclosure is to perform printing such that partition work of an operator is reduced. One embodiment of the present embodiment provides a printing apparatus that prints images on a roll paper based on one or a plurality of jobs, the printing apparatus including: an image forming unit that forms one or a plurality of image sets, each formed of a partition page image and a content image, on the roll paper based on a job in which partition information for inserting a partition page is set; and a control unit that controls image formation by the image forming unit, in which the control unit controls the image formation by the image forming unit based on a remaining amount of the roll paper such that there is no interruption in the middle of the image set.
Ink jet printer
A printer includes a platen to support a medium, a conveyor to convey the medium supported by the platen from an upstream side toward a downstream side in conveyance directions, a tension bar, and a floating bar. The tension bar is downstream of the platen in the conveyance directions and positioned such that a lower surface of the medium conveyed from the platen to the downstream side in the conveyance directions contacts the tension bar. The floating bar is downstream of the platen in the conveyance directions and upstream of the tension bar in the conveyance directions and positioned such that an upper surface of the medium located between the platen and the tension bar contacts the floating bar, and has a center axis freely movable by a predetermined degree.
Contacting member, drying device, and printing apparatus
A contacting member is provided that contacts a region of a contacted member to which a liquid composition has been applied. The contacting member has a fluororesin fiber layer containing a fluororesin fiber, which is disposed on a surface which contacts the contacted member. The fluororesin fiber layer has an average deformation amount of from 5.0 to 18.0 μm/N, which is calculated from a displacement amount obtained when a circular indenter having a diameter of 5 mm is pushed into the fluororesin fiber layer.
PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes a printing part configured to perform printing on a recording medium in which a label is attached to a backing sheet, transport rollers configured to sandwich and transport the recording medium, a peeling member configured to peel off the label from the backing sheet by bending the recording medium, and a tensioner configured to apply a tension in a direction opposite to a transport direction of the recording medium transported by the transport rollers to the recording medium, wherein, in the transport direction, the transport rollers are positioned downstream of the peeling member, and the tensioner is positioned upstream of the peeling member.
Liquid ejection apparatus, winding control method, and computer readable recording medium
A liquid ejection apparatus includes a conveying unit, a winding unit, a printing unit, and a rotation control unit. The conveying unit is configured to intermittently convey a printing medium by a predetermined feed amount. The winding unit is configured to wind the printing medium conveyed by the conveying unit. The printing unit is configured to perform printing on the conveyed printing medium. The rotation control unit is configured to control the winding unit to rotate in a winding direction at a predetermined timing after the conveying unit has started to convey the printing medium intermittently, and then cause the winding unit to rotate in a reverse direction opposite to the winding direction.
TRANSPORTING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE
Tension rollers are each supported by, at one end regarding the axial direction thereof, a first supporting member fastened to a first tensional force adjusting member by fastening members and, at the other end regarding the axial direction thereof, a second supporting member fastened to a second tensional force adjusting member by fastening members. The first and second supporting members each include elongate insertion holes as insertion holes in which the fastening members are inserted. The first and second tensional force adjusting members each include elongate insertion holes as insertion holes in which the fastening members are inserted. The elongate insertion holes each extend in a direction intersecting the axial direction of the tension roller.
