Out indicator sheets
Embodiments are directed to a dispensing device and methods of using a dispensing device having an improved out indicator. The dispensing device includes a housing having a cavity. A tissue stack is disposed within the cavity, the tissue stack including a plurality of tissue sheets folded along a crease. An aperture is formed in a top surface of the housing such that a tissue sheet is removable from the cavity through the aperture. A portion of the tissue sheets includes an out indicator formed along a centerline of each tissue sheet and across the crease.
Printing system for printing a plurality of images on a first web and on a second web and a method thereof
A printing system and a method for printing a plurality of images on a first web and on a second web are disclosed. The printing system includes a print head, a feed unit for feeding both the first web and the second web simultaneously to the print head in a feed direction relative the print head, a wrap up unit for wrapping up both the first web and the second web simultaneously to form a first output roll and a second output roll respectively, a user interface configured to set a printing arrangement of the plurality of images on the first web and the second web and to input the print head, the feed unit and the wrap up unit for performing printing according to the printing arrangement by ejecting marking material on the respective webs. The printing system includes a prediction module for predicting a first diameter of the first output roll and a second diameter of the second output roll based on the printing arrangement. The prediction module is configured to establish a difference of the predicted first diameter and the predicted second diameter, and to provide to the user interface a warning when the established difference is larger than a predetermined diameter difference threshold.

Printing apparatus
A printing apparatus includes a holding unit that holds a plurality of roll bodies, a transport device (100) which has a transport unit (110) that imparts a transport force by coming into contact with a medium (M), a pressing unit (120) which presses the medium (M) toward the transport unit (110), and an adjustment unit (140) which is able to adjust a pressing force on the medium (M) in each of a plurality of regions in a width direction, the transport device (100) is able to transport the plurality of mediums (M) in the transport direction (F) in a state of being lined up in the width direction, a printing unit which performs printing on the medium (M), and a control unit which controls the adjustment unit (140) such that pressing force on the medium (M) in the non-printing state is smaller than in the printing state.
UNWINDING OR WINDING ROLLS OF PRINT SUBSTRATE
In one example, a device for unwinding or winding multiple rolls of print substrate includes multiple spindles each to hold a roll of print substrate and a differential operatively connected to one end of each spindle. The spindles are aligned with one another lengthwise along a spindle axis and the differential is to output torque along a differential axis offset from the spindle axis to turn the spindles on the first axis.
MODULAR STACKING THERMAL PRINTERS
A modular simplex thermal printer that produces full color dye sublimation prints. Two individual modular printer units are stackable so that when the two simplex modular units are combined the lower printer unit can be loaded with duplex thermal receiver media which is printed on one side by the lower unit and then transferred through a slot and print transport path to the upper printer unit where the upper printer unit prints on the other non-printed side of the duplex receiver media.
