LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS
There is provided a liquid discharge apparatus which includes a tank including a liquid storage chamber, an inlet, a liquid lead-out channel, and an atmosphere communication channel, a conveyance mechanism, a carriage, and a head. A lower end of the inlet is positioned at a lower side of the nozzles, and the liquid storage chamber is arranged at a position shifted from the nozzles, in a first-direction side of the front-rear direction, and shifted from the conveyance route, to a second-direction side of the left-right direction. The liquid storage chamber is connected to the liquid outflow channel at a position on a lower side of a center in a up-down direction of the liquid storage chamber, and in the first direction from a center in the front-rear direction of the liquid storage chamber, and on the second-direction side of a center in the left-right direction of the liquid storage chamber.
LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS
A liquid discharge apparatus includes: a discharge head including nozzles; a head scanning mechanism that reciprocatingly moves the discharge head in a main scanning direction; a conveyer that conveys a recording medium in a sub-scanning direction; and a controller. In one pass, the controller executes: recording processing in which an image is formed on the recording medium by moving the discharge head in the main scanning direction and discharging liquid from the discharge head; setting processing in which the discharge head moves to a starting position of the recording processing for a subsequent pass following the one pass by changing a moving direction of the discharge head at a standstill position; and conveyance processing in which the recording medium is conveyed in the sub-scanning direction.
Processing apparatus for individual items, having an inkjet print head, and an activation method therefor
In a processing apparatus, with an inkjet print head, that processes individual items, a drive motor that operates a transport mechanism to transport the individual items in the x-direction of a Cartesian coordinate system past the inkjet print head in a printing position so as to execute a printing operation with the inkjet print head on each individual item. The drive motor arrangement also moves the inkjet print head in the y-direction into a first position that is any of an exchange position, the printing position, a cleaning position or a sealing position. The drive motor arrangement also moves the inkjet print head vertically, in the z-direction of the exchange position or the sealing position, into at least one other position that is either the printing position or the cleaning position.
PRINTING DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD
A printing device includes: a controller configured to perform printing wherein in a first case where a first condition is not satisfied, the controller controls the main-scanning unit to perform the main-scanning at a first speed and controls the print head to discharge the ink to correspond to a specific pixel of a partial image to be printed by the partial printing when the print head is at a first position, and in a second case where the first condition is satisfied, the controller controls the main-scanning unit to perform the main-scanning at a second speed slower than the first speed and controls the print head to discharge the ink to correspond to the specific pixel when the print head is at a second position, which is located at a downstream of the first position in the direction of the main-scanning.
MACHINE AND METHOD FOR MULTI-PASS DIGITAL PRINTING ON GLASS SHEETS WITH MINIMISED PRINT TRAVEL
Machine and method for multi-pass digital printing of plate glass with minimization of print travel. The machine is configured to recognize the longest dimension of the motif to be printed in the X and Y directions and to execute the multiple print passes by moving the bridge in the X direction or by moving the carriage along the bridge in the Y direction.
Printing unit with three printheads
A printing unit includes: three elongate printheads positioned in a staggered overlapping arrangement for spanning across a media feed path, wherein a first printhead and a second printhead are longitudinally spaced apart and positioned in a row across the media feed path and a third printhead is offset from and overlaps with both the first and second printheads; three wipers for longitudinally wiping respective printheads in a direction perpendicular to a media feed direction, each wiper being parked at one longitudinal end of its respective printhead. One of the wipers, in its parked position, is positioned in a space between the first and second printheads.
Print module with air exhaust opposite ink ejection direction
A print module includes: a body housing at least one printed circuit board (PCB); an air inlet and an air outlet positioned in a roof of the body; an air pathway extending through the body between the air inlet and the air outlet; and an inkjet printhead positioned at a lower part of the body opposite the roof, the inkjet printhead electrically communicating with the PCB.
LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS
There is provided a tank including a liquid storage chamber and an outlet. The liquid storage chamber includes a base portion and a protruding portion, the base portion includes a first lateral wall and a second lateral wall which faces the first lateral wall in a left-right direction, the protruding portion protrudes from the second lateral wall in a direction away from the first lateral wall in the left-right direction, and the left-right direction is defined based on a usable posture in which the tank is disposed such that a lower surface of the liquid storage chamber is located below an upper surface of the liquid storage chamber. A distance between the outlet and the second lateral wall in the left-right direction is smaller than a distance between the outlet and the first lateral wall in the left-right direction.
PRINTING APPARATUS
An embodiment of the present invention is a printing apparatus, comprising: a carriage on which a printing head is mounted and that can move reciprocally in a first direction; a motor configured to generate driving force; a driving shaft extending in the first direction and driven to rotate by the driving force; a plurality of driving units driven by the driving force transmitted through the driving shaft; a switching unit configured to switch a transmission destination of the driving force in the plurality of driving units in conjunction with the driving shaft; and a contact unit configured to rotate around a rotatably supporting unit so as to be in a contact position in which contact with the carriage is made or a non-contact position in which the contact with the carriage is not made and to move with the carriage in the contact position.
