Printer
A printer includes a printer body, a lid, a lock, a lock lever, and an open lever. The lid is attached to the printer body to be opened and closed. The lock locks a platen roller attached to one of the printer body and the lid. The lock lever unlocks the locked platen roller. The open lever is so provided on the lid as to slide. The open lever slides to press the lock lever to open the lid.
PRINTHEAD CARRIERS AND ADAPTERS
Printhead carriers and adapters are disclosed. An example disclosed print mechanism includes a printhead carrier including first and second pivot mechanisms; and a toggle assembly to, when in an engaged position, apply a force to the printhead carrier with the printhead carrier in a closed configuration, wherein the closed configuration enables printing operations, when in a disengaged position, allow the printhead carrier to transition to an open configuration via the first pivot mechanism, wherein the open configuration provides access to a printhead carried by the printhead carrier, and when in the disengaged position, allow the printhead carrier to transition to an access configuration via the second pivot mechanism, wherein the access configuration enables removal of the printhead from the printhead carrier.
Printhead carriers and adapters
Printhead carriers and adapters are disclosed. An example disclosed printhead carrier includes a base to carry a printhead assembly; a first pivot mechanism to pivot the base about a first axis; and a second pivot mechanism to pivot a connector about a second axis different than the first axis, the printhead assembly to be removably coupled to the connector.
Control Assembly
A control assembly includes: a drive-belt assembly including a first motor which is operable to rotate a first spindle, and a second spindle, the first and second spindles defining at least a portion of a belt path, and a drive-belt engaged with and extending between the first and second spindles, the first motor being operable to cause movement of the drive-belt; and a printhead movement assembly, which includes a first movement assembly on which a printhead is supportable and allows movement of the printhead along a first axis, and a second movement assembly which extends along a second axis and is configured to support the first movement assembly, the second movement assembly permitting movement of the first movement assembly and the printhead along the second axis; wherein operation of the motor causes the printhead to move along at least one of the first and second axes.
PRINTER
In accordance with an embodiment, a printer comprises a housing section and a printer section. The housing section houses a roll-like image receiving medium. The printer section comprises a print head, a platen and a discharge section. The print head prints information on the image receiving medium fed from the housing section. The platen is arranged opposite to the print head and rotates around a rotating shaft. The discharge section discharges the image receiving medium passing through a space between the print head and the platen. The printer section rotates around the rotating shaft independent of the platen.
PRINTER APPARATUS
A printer apparatus includes a print head, a platen roller, a recording paper guide configured to guide recording paper placed between the print head and the platen roller, and a spring configured to press the print head toward a direction of the platen roller, wherein the spring has a first part and a second part, the first part being in contact with the recording paper guide, the second part having a head contact at an end thereof that is in contact with the print head, the spring exerting a restoring force in such a direction as to narrow a space between the first part and the second part.

MEDIA PROCESSING DEVICE WITH ENHANCED MEDIA AND RIBBON LOADING AND UNLOADING FEATURES
Provided herein is a media processing device including a printhead assembly, a frame, and a biasing element. The printhead assembly includes a printhead and a printhead bracket, where the printhead assembly extends in a longitudinal direction between a first end and a second end, and where the printhead bracket includes a biasing force receiving element. The frame may be configured to receive and support the printhead assembly, where the frame includes a first portion disposed adjacent to the first end of the printhead assembly, and a second frame portion is disposed adjacent to the second end of the printhead assembly. The biasing element may extend between the first frame portion and the second frame portion, where the biasing element may engage the biasing force receiving element of the printhead assembly.
PRINTER APPRATUS
A printer apparatus includes a print head, a platen roller, and a frame, wherein printing is performed on recording paper situated between the print head and the platen roller, wherein a projection is formed at a side face of the print head, wherein a side face of the frame has a groove formed therein for receiving the projection, wherein the groove includes a first area constituting an entrance to the groove, a second area for positioning the projection and formed such as to extend in a direction intersecting with a direction in which the first area extends, and a slanted part formed between the first area and the second area, and wherein the slanted part is an edge of the groove and extends in a direction different from both a direction in which the projection moves in the first area and a direction in which the projection moves in the second area.
