LIQUID DISCHARGE HEAD AND RECORDING DEVICE
A liquid discharge head is provided in which heat of a heat sink is less apt to transfer to a head body. The liquid discharge head includes a head body 2a having a discharge hole for discharging a liquid therethrough, a driver IC 93 configured to control driving of the head body 2a, a casing 91 which is disposed on the head body 2a and has openings 91a and 91b on a side surface of the casing, and a heat sink 90 which is disposed on the openings 91a and 91b of the casing 91 and configured to dissipate heat generated in the driver IC 93, and a thermal insulation part 91e disposed between the heat sink 90 and the head body 2a. This makes it possible to reduce the likelihood that the heat of the heat sink 91e transfers to the head body 2a.
Inhibiting media deformation
A deposition module within a web press for inhibiting media deformation may include a fluid deposition device located on a side of a media, and a processing device to control the fluid deposition device to selectively apply a wetting agent to the media. The deposition of the wetting agent may be based on the location of content printed on the media as defined by print data.
Liquid discharge apparatus, liquid discharge method and non transitory computer-readable medium storing control program for liquid discharge apparatus
There is provided a liquid discharge apparatus including: a conveyer; head chips; a circulation channel; and a controller. Each head chip includes a manifold; a nozzle group, and actuators. Each head chip is configured to execute discharge drive and non-discharge vibration drive. The head chips include: an end head chip; a facing head chip facing the recording medium; and a non-facing head chip not facing the recording medium. The controller is configured to make at least one of a circulation flowing amount of a liquid in the circulation channel in the facing head chip and a frequency of the non-discharge vibration drive by an actuator included in the actuators in the facing head chip larger than those of the non-facing head chip.
Liquid supply device, liquid discharge device, and liquid discharge apparatus
A liquid supply device includes a collection sub tank and a collection flow path. The collection sub tank collects liquid from a liquid discharge head. The collection flow path connects the liquid discharge head and the collection sub tank. The collection sub tank includes a first inflow port connected with the collection flow path and a first inner wall portion on an extension line extending from the first inflow port in a direction in which the liquid flows into the collection sub tank from the collection flow path. The first inner wall portion has one of an inclined surface inclined with respect to the extension line, an arc-shaped surface, and a curved surface.
LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS
A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a liquid ejecting head ejecting a liquid to a medium, a wiping mechanism wiping a liquid ejection surface of the liquid ejecting head and including a wiper portion that wipes the liquid ejection surface by moving in a direction along the liquid ejection surface, an electric portion including a substrate, the electronic portion being a part related to control of the apparatus, and a power supply portion as a power supply source, in which a moving direction of the wiper portion is a direction intersecting a surface of the substrate, and at least part of the electric portion and at least part of the power supply portion overlap part of the wiping mechanism in the moving direction of the wiper portion.
MIST COLLECTING UNIT, AND AN INKJET PRINTING APPARATUS HAVING SAME
A mist collecting unit for collecting a mist of ink droplets. The mist collecting unit includes the following elements. An introduction pipe, a mist introducing box with the introduction pipe mounted to have an upper part open, and a collecting box attached to a lower part of the mist introducing box. The gas is introduced from the introduction pipe into the collecting box, thereby capturing the mist included in the gas by inner surfaces of the collecting box.
INK HEATING DEVICE AND PRINTING APPARATUS
An ink heating device, which is incorporated in an inkjet printing apparatus, includes: a planar heating member bonded in a state where one surface of the planar heating member is thermally bonded to an outer surface of an ink tank storing ink; an elastic member, having a heat insulation property, is provided on the other surface of the planar heating member and presses the planar heating member against the ink tank; and a hardware processor that performs heating control on the planar heating member in a stepwise manner according to a stop time of a main body of the printing apparatus at a time of starting the main body of the printing apparatus.
LIQUID DISCHARGE HEAD ANGLE ADJUSTER, LIQUID DISCHARGE MODULE, AND LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS
A liquid discharge head angle adjuster for individually adjusting inclination angles of a plurality of liquid discharge heads includes a plurality of array members and a plurality of array supports. The plurality of array members holds the liquid discharge heads. The plurality of array supports the array members. At least one of the array supports includes a first support, a second support, and a pressing member. The first support is disposed on one side in a direction in which one of the liquid discharge heads is rotated when an inclination angle of the one of the liquid discharge heads is adjusted. The first support supports a rotation fulcrum of one of the array members. The second support is disposed on a side opposite the first support, and supports another of the array member. The pressing member presses the rotation fulcrum against the first support.
Liquid discharge head
A liquid discharge head includes an individual channel which includes: a nozzle; a pressure chamber; a descender of which one end in the first direction is nearer to the nozzle than the other end; and a second connecting channel connecting a second common channel and the one end of the descender. A central axis of the nozzle is positioned between the second common channel and a central axis of the descender in the second direction. The descender includes a first portion including the one end and a second portion positioned between the pressure chamber and the first portion in the first direction. In an end, of the descender, opposite to the second connecting channel in the second direction, an inner wall defining the one end of the first portion protrudes toward the second connecting channel in the second direction beyond an inner wall defining the second portion.
Inkjet printhead for printing redundantly in four colors
A pagewide printhead for printing redundantly in four colors. First and second rows of printhead chips are mounted on a common ink manifold having four ink supply channels for supplying four colors of ink to the first and second rows of printhead chips. Dedicated ink outlets interconnect one ink supply channel of the ink manifold with a pair of redundant nozzle rows in each printhead chip.
