A method of forming a digital embossing on a surface by bonding hard press particles to a carrier. A liquid binder pattern is applied on the carrier by a digital drop application head. Hard press particles are applied on the carrier and the binder pattern such that some hard press particles are bonded to the carrier by the liquid pattern and non-bonded press particles are removed. The carrier with the bonded hard press particles is pressed to the surface and an embossing is formed when the carrier with the hard press particles is removed.

Provided is a printing plate, containing: a screen plate having an opening pattern; and, a frame body to which the screen plate is fixed, in which the screen plate includes at least one curved part and is relatively movably fixed to the frame body.

A panel with a surface including a digitally formed print of macro colourants including a particle body and colour pigments attached to the surface of the particle body is also described. The colourants are arranged in patterns with pigments on an upper and lower surface of the particle body.

A method is used to apply a graphic to a product formed at least partially from individual wooden sticks. The graphic is produced by a printing method. To ensure that printed products can be produced easily and cost-effectively, the graphic is divided into graphic sections that are printed onto the wooden sticks. These are put together after the printing process, with the graphic sections of the individual wooden sticks creating the graphic on the product.
