A paint tray assembly for use with a paint roller includes a pan. The pan has a top that is open so that the pan is configured to position paint. A first plate is coupled to and extends transversely from an upper perimeter of the pan. An edge of the first plate is distal to the pan and elevated relative to the upper perimeter. The first plate is configured to direct excess paint from a roller to the pan. A rod is coupled to and extends transversely from a lower surface of the first plate proximate to the pan. A lower terminus of the rod is substantially coplanar with a bottom of the pan. The rod is positioned to stabilize the pan on a substantially horizontal surface. The rod also is configured to be grasped in a hand of a user to lift the pan.

PAINT LID AND CAN STORAGE SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
20190322125 · 2019-10-24 ·

A storage compartment formed from two halves designed to fit a paint lid, the two halves being connected by a living hinge or other suitable connection type. The two halves can be sealed over the paint lid. An optional magnet holds the storage compartment and lid to the bottom of the paint can, ensuring the lid remains in proximity to the paint can. A second magnet may also hold the lid in place within the storage compartment. Molded clasps or other closure elements are used to close the lid over the storage compartment. A rotatable arm can be tilted up from the storage compartment to allow for carrying of the open paint can along with the lid keeper storage compartment.

The DripLip has a round shape that fits upon a paint can and retains drips and dribbles. The invention has an upper flange upon a main wall that descends to a lower flange perpendicular to the main wall. Upon a part of the lower flange, the invention has a receptacle with a lower portion and an upper portion upon it. The lower portion has a rectangular cross section. Then the upper portion of the receptacle has an inclined forward wall extending Outward from the receptacle and the rest of the invention. The upper portion opens into the plane of the lower flange. The upper portion and the lower portion both of the receptacle retain the liquid remaining from a typical pour from the paint can.

A RETRACTABLE SPOUT FOR A FLOWABLE SUBSTANCE CONTAINER
20190263566 · 2019-08-29 ·

A retractable spout device for a flowable substance container comprising a first section 1 adapted to be secured to an interior of the container, and a second section 2 displaceable relative to the first section in order to facilitate the movement of the second section from a retracted position wherein the second section is at least partially collapsed, to a deployed position wherein the second section extends outwards to form a spout.

Coating application with automated brushing

Arrangements described herein include coating application systems and methods for controlling such systems. The system can include an application end configured to be operatively connected to a robot arm. The application end can include one or more nozzles to dispense a coating onto a workpiece. The application end can further include one or more brushes to brush a portion of the coating dispensed onto the workpiece. The brush can be moveable between a retracted position and a deployed position. In some arrangements, the systems can include a cleaning tool to remove excess coating from the brush after brushing.

Paint tray liner and lid

A container liner that can be flipped on top of another same liner to provide a liner-lid combination that forms an enclosure for storing a coating and/or coating utensil therewithin. The sidewalls of the liner provide an upper rim with upper mating face which engages against the corresponding upper mating face of another same liner to form a face seal along a majority of the upper rim. The opposingly interfaced liners form a section in which the ribs of the respective liners are in juxtaposition to each other in a laterally spaced apart relationship to define a through-opening that is configured to permit a portion of a coating utensil such as a paintbrush to extend therethrough. In addition, the liners may have a feature which allows the same liners to be nested while facing the same direction, allowing for ease of storage while the liners are not forming an enclosure.

HAND-HELD VESSEL

A hand-held vessel has a bottom wall, a sidewall and a supportive strap attached to the bottom wall and the sidewall. The bottom wall and sidewall have an inner and outer surface. The sidewall extends from the bottom wall, whereby the inner surfaces of the bottom wall and sidewall define a cavity for holding fluids or loose materials therein. The strap has a first end and a second end, whereby the first end is fixedly attached to the sidewall and the second end is selectively secured to the bottom wall. The strap is adaptable to accept a user's hand disposed between the strap and the outer surface of the sidewall. The strap urges the hand against the outer surface of the sidewall to secure the vessel to the hand and stabilize the vessel with respect to movement relative to the hand.

PAINT DELIVERY SYSTEM
