Process for producing, by etching through a lenticular grating, images that may be selectively viewed by varying angle of observation
A process for producing, under a lenticular grating, in an etching zone, by laser etching, using a tool, a first image and at least one second image that may be selectively viewed by varying angle of observation, the tool including a laser, a galvanometric head and a lens, and defining an optical axis and a working zone, which includes steps of: placing the etching zone in a first location included in the working zone and on the periphery of the working zone, and, perpendicularly to the optical axis, etching the first image; and then placing the etching zone in a second location, which is different from the first location, included in the working zone and on the periphery of the working zone, and, perpendicularly to the optical axis, etching the second image.

Resin molding
A resin molding is provided. The resin molding includes an optically transparent plate-shaped portion, which has a first surface having a smooth surface portion, and a second surface having plural sections, wherein each of the plural sections has a width and includes one or more convex portions which have one or more ridge lines extending in a ridge line direction. The ridge line direction of the one or more convex portions of at least one of the plural sections is different from the ridge line direction of the one or more convex portions of one or more of others of the plural sections. When the first surface of the resin molding is observed from outside, the resin molding has metallic appearance.
Aircraft system with assisted taxi, take off, and climbing
An aircraft system with assisted taxi, take-off and climbing, comprising: a main air vehicle capable of performing autonomously the cruising and landing phases of a flight, an auxiliary air vehicle lighter than the main air vehicle and configured to assist the main air vehicle during the taxing and take-off phases of a flight. Main and auxiliary air vehicles are adapted to be detachably connectable, so that the auxiliary air vehicle can assist the main air vehicle when both are attached to each other during taxing, take-off and climbing. The auxiliary air vehicle is an unmanned air vehicle and it is further configured to fly and land when it is detached from the main air vehicle. Aircraft operations cost and aircraft production cost are reduced, by optimizing the design (sizing) and capabilities of some systems of an aircraft.
Textile substrate with visual components
Aspects are directed to a textile substrate with two or more ink layers and methods for printing a textile substrate. The two or more ink layers may include one or more visual components that form graphics or images that are visible to an observer when viewing the textile substrate from different angles.

Overlay for collectible trading cards
An overlay having artwork printed thereon in a strategic location such that when placed over the front face of a card changes the look and appearance of the original artwork on the front face of the card. The overlay may be used with any type of card, but is preferably used with playing cards and trading cards, and is most preferably used with collectible trading cards.

Methods and apparatus for providing improved visual and optionally tactile features on a substrate
Methods and apparatus provide for an improved visual and optionally tactile features on a visible element of an article, such as a consumer electronic device (e.g., a mobile electronic device, a mobile phone, a smartphone, a tablet, a phablet, a notebook computer, a laptop, etc.).
Decorative object, in particular watch glass, with an optical effect
Disclosed is a decorative object including an upper glass, a lower glass, a recessed pattern formed in the lower glass and facing the upper glass, a liquid filling the recessed pattern, the refractive index of the liquid being equal to that of the lower glass or differing from that of the lower glass by at most 10 %, and solid elements which can move in the liquid.
