Also, disclosed is a process of preparing said ter/tetra polymer, and its method of use.
Hair treatment composition comprising Michael addition product and methods for treating hair
The present disclosure relates to hair care compositions such as hair restructuring compositions comprising a combination of restructuring components. The compositions are unique because they dramatically improve the quality and durability of hair, especially chemically treated hair. Typically, the compositions include: (a) one or more amines selected from the group consisting of diamines, polyamines, alkylamines, alkanolamines, and mixtures thereof; (b) one or more unsaturated carboxylic acids of formula (I): ##STR00001## wherein R.sub.1 is a linear or branched C.sub.2-C.sub.10 alkenyl group; R.sub.2 is a linear or branched C.sub.1-C.sub.10 alkyl group; and R.sub.3 is (meth)acryloyloxy; and (c) a cosmetically acceptable carrier.
COSMETIC COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising between 20 and 45% of a first surfactant, from 0.1 and 22% of a second surfactant; and cosmetically acceptable adjuvants for use in hair cleaning and color maintenance of dyed hair, which can be used as a shampoo and other hair formulations.
COSMETIC PREPARATION WITH IMPROVED VISCOSITY FOR TREATING KERATIN FIBERS, A PROCESS FOR INCREASING THE VISCOSITY OF A COSMETIC PREPARATION, USE OF VISCOSITY MODIFYING INGREDIENTS, AND A METHOD OF TREATING KERATIN FIBERS
The present invention relates to a cosmetic preparation with improved viscosity for treatment of keratin fibers, comprising the mixture of a first cosmetic mask composition and a second potentiating cosmetic composition, which is intended for the treatment of keratin fibers. The present invention further contemplates a process for increasing viscosity of said cosmetic preparation from the use of viscosity modifying ingredients, as well as a method for treating keratin fibers.
METHODS FOR FIXING HAIR AND SKIN
Compositions, kits, and methods for repairing bonds, for example, disulfide bonds, in hair or on the skin are disclosed. The compositions provide improved conditioning benefit for dry hair or moisturize the skin. The compositions also provide a long lasting moisturized feel and smooth feel to the skin or hair, without feeling greasy. The compositions contain one or more compounds that covalently bind at least two thiol groups in the hair or on the skin. Use of the binding compositions prevents reversion of the repaired bonds to their free thiol state, for at least one week or one month, or more, after a single application of the composition. Improved methods of styling hair, for example permanent hair waving, hair curling, hair coloring or highlighting, and hair straightening, are also provided.
Method for improving color retention in artificially colored hair
Compositions and methods are disclosed for preventing or reducing loss of color from color-treated keratin fibers by forming a water-resistant coating on hair comprise a combination of a hydrophobic particulate material comprising a hydrophobically surface-modified oxide and one or more hydrophobic film formers in a cosmetically acceptable vehicle.
PROCESS FOR TREATING KERATINOUS MATERIAL, COMPRISING THE MIXING OF AT LEAST TWO AGENTS (A) AND (B)
A method for coloring keratin fibers, in particular human hair, including applying a coloring agent (F) to the keratin fibers and applying a shampoo (S) to the keratin fibers. The coloring agent includes at least one amino-functionalized silicone polymer, and at least one pigment, and the shampoo includes at least one amino-functionalized silicone polymer. The coloring agent (F) and the shampoo (S) are different formulations.
METHOD FOR TREATING HAIR
Methods, kit and uses for treating hair are provided. A method for treating hair comprises applying to the hair a first composition comprising in a cosmetically acceptable carrier, one or more ionizable linkers of Formula I, or cosmetically acceptable salts thereof, or mixtures thereof:
##STR00001##
and applying to the hair a second composition comprising in a cosmetically acceptable carrier, one or more ingredients of Formula II, or cosmetically acceptable salts thereof, or mixtures thereof:
##STR00002##
and wherein the first composition does not comprise any ingredients of Formula II of the second composition. Alternatively, a method for treating hair comprises applying to the hair a composition comprising in a cosmetically acceptable carrier, one or more ionizable linkers of Formula I, or cosmetically acceptable salts thereof, or mixtures thereof; and one or more ingredients of Formula II, or cosmetically acceptable salts thereof, or mixtures thereof.
