Hair treatment agents are provided that include at least one fatty alcohol, at least one cationic surfactant, hexetidine and phenoxyethanol, to reduce or prevent the washing-out of color from colored hair.

Hair treatment agents, comprising at least one anionic surfactant, at least one amphoteric surfactant, at least one divalent or trivalent metal salts, at least one organic acid and ethyl lauroyl arginate reduce or prevent dye from being washed out of colored hair.

Hair treatment agents including: an anionic surfactant from the group of alpha-olefin sulfonates, an anionic surfactant from the group of taurides, an amphoteric surfactant, a cationic polymer, and o-cymen-5-ol.

reduces or prevents the fading of color from dyed hair.

Hair treatment agents including: at least one anionic surfactant; at least one amphoteric surfactant; at least one divalent or trivalent metal salt; at least one cationic polymer; 4,4-dimethyloxazolidine; and at least one organic acid.

Hair treatment agents including: at least one fatty alcohol; at least one cationic surfactant; at least one silicone; and 10-undecenoic acid and/or salts thereof.

Hair treatment agents and methods for treating hair using the hair treatment agents are provided. In an embodiment, a hair treatment agent comprises: at least one anionic surfactant from the group of -olefin sulfonates, at least one anionic surfactant from the group of taurides, at least one amphoteric surfactant, at least one silver salt selected from silver acetate, silver adipate, silver citrate, silver galactarate, silver gluconate, silver lactate, silver malate, silver mandelate, silver salicylate, silver succinate, silver sulfate, and silver tartrate, and at least one organic acid selected from adipic acid, succinic acid, citric acid, acetic acid, galactaric acid, gluconic acid, malic acid, mandelic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid, sulfuric acid, silver acetate, and tartaric acid,
to reduce or prevent washing out of color from dyed hair.

Hair treatment agents including: at least one anionic surfactant from the group of alkyl sulfates and/or alkyl ether sulfates; at least one amphoteric and/or nonionic surfactant; at least one divalent or trivalent metal salt; at least one cationic polymer; and ethyl lauroyl arginate.

Hair treatment agents, including at least one fatty alcohol, at least one cationic surfactant, at least one bivalent or trivalent metal salt, at least one amino-functional silicone, propionic acid and/or salts of propionic acid, and at least one of organic acid different from propionic acid, reduce or prevent the washing out of color from dyed hair.

Compositions, kits, and methods for repairing bonds, for example, disulfide bonds, in hair or on the skin are disclosed. The compositions provide improved conditioning benefit for dry hair or moisturize the skin. The compositions also provide a long lasting moisturized feel and smooth feel to the skin or hair, without feeling greasy. The compositions contain one or more compounds that covalently bind at least two thiol groups in the hair or on the skin. Use of the binding compositions prevents reversion of the repaired bonds to their free thiol state, for at least one week or one month, or more, after a single application of the composition. Improved methods of styling hair, for example permanent hair waving, hair curling, hair coloring or highlighting, and hair straightening, are also provided.
