The detoxifying and impurity eliminator includes preservatives, a pathogenic microorganism and exo- and endotoxins eliminator, and multi-functional polyethylene glycol. The preservatives include sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate. The pathogenic microorganism and exo- and endotoxins eliminator includes white activated charcoal powder.

A hair care composition is disclosed comprising an anti-dandruff agent selected from piroctone olamine, climbazole, ketoconazole, selenium sulfide and mixtures thereof, a copolymer comprising acrylamidopropyltrimonium chloride, and a cationic guar polymer having a molecular weight of from 0.3 to 2.5 million Dalton and a cationic degree of substitution of from 0.05 to 0.4, wherein the weight ratio of the amount of the copolymer to the amount of cationic guar polymer is in the range of from 1:10 to 10:1.

A non-sulfate shampoo is disclosed. The shampoo incorporates at least one non-sulfate surfactant selected from a taurate salt and a sarcosinate salt, and in addition incorporates a complexation compound. The shampoo produces a coacervate upon dilution with water and in use to shampoo hair. The shampoo provides mild non-irritating treatment of the hair and does not irritate skin or eyes.

New extracts of Nannochloropsis sp. and related species of Nannochloropsis are suggested, obtainable by treating said microalgae with a solvent selected from the group consisting of C.sub.1-C.sub.1 aliphatic alcohols, ethyl acetate, water or their mixtures, removing the dissolved extracts from the residues and recovering the pure extracts from the solvent. The extracts show excellent properties particularly in modulating the metabolism of human skin and hair follicles.
