10920884 · 2021-02-16 · ·

In an in-wheel motor drive device, a speed reduction part is a parallel shaft gear reducer that includes a plurality of gear shafts extending in parallel to one another. One of the gear shafts is coupled with the rotation shaft of the motor part, the other one of the gear shafts is coupled with the wheel hub of the wheel hub bearing part. Remaining gear shafts decelerate the rotation of the motor part and transmit it to the wheel hub. The motor drive device includes a parking gear attached to any of the gear shafts. The parking pawl has a projection portion engaged with a recess portion of the parking gear. A movement member enables a parking pawl to move between a locking position engaged with the recess portion and an unlocking position not engaged therewith. The parking gear, the parking pawl, and movement member are housed inside a housing.

A wheel end assembly that includes a hub, a hub cap, first and second spider retainers, and a spider having a spider shaft. The hub and the hub cap cooperate to define an internal cavity. The first and second spider retainers are disposed in the internal cavity and cooperate to define a spider shaft hole. The spider shaft is received in the spider shaft hole.

Driving device for carriage

A driving device for a carriage includes a motor, a speed reducer, and a mecanum wheel. The speed reducer decelerates the power input from the motor and outputs a decelerated power. The mecanum wheel is rotated by the decelerated power output from the speed reducer. The speed reducer includes a speed reducing unit, a carrier, and a case. The speed reducing unit receives the power from the motor. The carrier supports the speed reducing unit. The case is rotatable relative to the carrier. The mecanum wheel is fixed on the case or the carrier.

Planetary gear device and vehicle wheel drive device

A first labyrinth seal includes: a drive shaft side annular protrusion that is formed on one of the slinger and the drive shaft seal plate and that protrudes over the circumference of the drive shaft; and a drive shaft side annular groove that is formed on the other of the slinger and the drive shaft seal plate and that recedes over the circumference of the shaft. A second labyrinth seal includes: a carrier-side annular protrusion that is formed on one of the carrier seal plate and the planetary carrier and that protrudes over the circumference of the shaft of the planetary carrier; and a carrier-side annular groove that is formed on the other of the carrier seal plate and the planetary carrier and that recedes over the circumference of the shaft.

Bearing device for wheels with auxiliary power device

An auxiliary power unit equipped wheel support bearing assembly is provided which includes a wheel support bearing assembly and an auxiliary power unit. The auxiliary power unit is of a direct drive design that includes a stator mounted to a stationary ring of the wheel support bearing assembly and a motor rotor mounted to a rotational ring of the wheel support bearing assembly. An entirety of the auxiliary power unit is sized to extend less than an outer peripheral segment of a brake rotor, with the outer peripheral segment defining an area against which a brake caliper is intended to be pushed. The auxiliary power unit is, with respect to an axial direction, sized to be situated between a hub flange of the wheel support bearing assembly and a mounting face of the wheel support bearing assembly for mounting to a vehicle body of a vehicle.
