The driving unit is disposed in the receiving unit and includes a penetrating portion corresponding in position to the penetrating recess and a stop spindle penetrating the penetrating recess and the penetrating portion. Two ends of the stop spindle correspond in position to the stop slots and thus are movably confined to the penetrating recess to enter or exit the stop slots. The elastic element has two ends abutting against the receiving unit and driving unit, respectively, to enable the stop spindle to undergo reciprocating motion within the penetrating recess.
Dual wheel swivel caster with a torque limiter and associated method
A dual wheel swivel caster includes a swivel assembly, a horn, a rig hub, a solid axle, at least one ring of roller bearings, first and second wheel assemblies, and at least one ring of bearings. The first wheel assembly has a first wheel axis, and includes an annular plate element. The torque limiter is configured to rotatably couple the first and second wheel assemblies with the solid axle when the torque between the annular plate element and the torque limiter is below a preset value. The torque limiter is configured to rotatably decouple the first wheel assembly from the solid axle and the second wheel assembly when the torque exceeds the preset value. The ring of bearings is configured to allow the first wheel assembly to rotate independently of the solid axle and the second wheel assembly about the rotational axis when the torque exceeds the preset value.
WHEELCHAIR FRAME
A tube assembly for a wheelchair frame comprises a tubular member having at least a first portion and a second portion angled relative to the first portion, the first portion configured to be in a seating zone of the wheelchair frame. The second portion is configured to be in a bottom front zone of the wheelchair frame, the tubular member defining a surface concavity in its peripheral surface delimited by a peripheral step, the surface concavity located at a junction between the first portion and the second portion of the tubular member. An interface member has a peripheral contour shaped and sized for the interface member to be received in the surface concavity and contoured at least partially by the peripheral step.
WHEELCHAIR BACKREST AND REAR WHEEL ASSEMBLY
A system of bracket assemblies for a wheelchair comprises a pair of bracket assemblies adapted to be connected to respective sides of a seat frame of the wheelchair. Each of the bracket assemblies has a base adapted to be secured to a seat frame member of the seat frame, an arm adapted to be secured to a backrest frame member of a backrest frame, and a pivot pivotally connecting the base to the arm for rotational movement of the arm relative to the base. One or more blocking mechanism blocks the rotational movement of the arm relative to the base in a use orientation of the backrest frame. A rod having opposed ends connected to the base of the pair of the bracket assemblies for spacing the bracket assemblies away from one another. A rear wheel unit is also provided.
Rolling device
Rolling device comprising a housing (11) accommodating a rolling element and a control and communication module comprising a wireless receiver (30) connected to a control device (40) and position means (50) connected to the control device, wherein the rolling device further comprises driving means (60) connected to the control device and the rolling element for driving and controlling the movements of the rolling element according to a first position acquired by the position means and a received wireless signal comprising movement instructions and a second position, power supply means (70) for powering the control and communication module and the driving means, wherein the housing is arranged with an support assembly for bearing the rolling element which is configured for establishing a releasable connection with the housing, and an electrical interface adapted for establishing connection between the rolling element and the control and communication module and the power supply means.
Automated guided vehicle and method of controlling automated guided vehicle
An AGV including a support structure and at least one drive unit connected to the support structure, wherein each drive unit includes a wheel rotatable about a wheel axis and about a steering axis perpendicular to the wheel axis; a wheel motor arranged to drive the wheel about the wheel axis; and a steering motor arranged to drive the wheel about the steering axis; wherein the AGV further includes at least one actuation member movable in an additional degree of freedom; and wherein the at least one actuation member is arranged to be driven by the wheel motor and/or the steering motor of at least one drive unit in the additional degree of freedom. A method of controlling an AGV is also provided.
A SPACING BAR OF A WHEELCHAIR FRAME
A spacing bar of a wheelchair frame comprising an elongated structural body having a pair of opposite ends, each of the opposite ends having a C-shaped clamp configured for being clamped to respective lateral frame members of the wheelchair frame, wherein the elongated structural body and the C-shaped clamps are integrally made of a monocoque composite construction, and a tightening assembly for each of the C-shaped clamps, the tightening assemblies being arranged in the spacing bar to loosen and tighten the C- shaped clamps to the respective lateral frame members. A wheelchair frame comprising: a pair of lateral frame members configured to support at least a seat, and front and rear wheel units, the lateral frame members each having an elongated frame portion in a seating zone of the wheelchair frame, and a spacing bar having an elongated structural body and a pair of opposite ends, each of the opposite ends having a connector configured for being clamped to a respective one of the lateral frame member of the wheelchair frame, wherein each of the connectors forms a joint with the respective one of the elongated frame portions constraining the spacing bar to movement of the spacing bar axially along the pair of the elongated frame portion, a tightening assembly for each of the connectors, the tightening assemblies being arranged in the spacing bar to loosen and tighten the connectors to block or allow movement of the spacing bar along the pair of the lateral frame members
