TRAVEL SUITCASE
The travel suitcase comprises: at least one container body for containing objects and/or clothes; at least one gripping element that can be grasped by a user for the movement of said suitcase; at least one wheel for pulling the suitcase on the ground, comprising: an external rolling body made of polymeric material and comprising two lateral sides and a joining portion; two annular flanges defining a support seat; wherein the lateral sides comprise two respective ending portions inserted in the support seat and placed in mutual contact to define an air chamber with the joining portion.
WHEEL ADAPTER FOR PROVIDING ROLLING MOBILITY TO A CARGO CONTAINER
A wheel adapter for connecting to a cargo container and providing the cargo container with rolling mobility. The wheel adapter includes an adapter body, one or more wheels rotatable with respect to the adapter body, and a container connector extending from the adapter body for connection to the cargo container. A pusher mechanism engages the adapter body and can be operated to move the adapter body relative to the wheel or wheels in order to vary the vertical placement of the wheel(s) in relation to the container connector. For example, the pusher mechanism can include a wheel-displacement bolt for translationally moving the wheel(s) upward and downward with respect to the container connector, and/or an airbag unit for pivoting the adapter body in relation to the wheel(s) and thus lowering or raising the wheel(s) with respect to the container connector.
Roller Assembly
A roller assembly for a storage unit enabling rolling of the storage unit on a surface includes a set of bearings and a set of couplers. The bearings are ball transfer type. Each coupler is coupled to a respective bearing and is configured to couple to a bottom of the storage unit so that the coupler is coupled the respective bearing to the bottom of the storage unit. The set of bearings is configured to facilitate rolling of the storage unit and contents thereof along the surface.
ARTICLE MOVEMENT SYSTEMS, BALL WHEELS AND RELATED APPARATUS AND METHODS
An article movement system includes an article and at least one ball wheel. The article has first and second article surfaces meeting at a first article edge. The ball wheel is located along the first article edge and includes a ball, a bearing arrangement and a shell. The ball engages a surface underlying the article, the bearing arrangement supports the ball for omni-directional rotational movement, and the shell is located along the first article edge and contains the ball and the bearing arrangement. The shell defines a non-circular ball opening through which a portion of the ball extends to contact the underlying surface. The article, the bearing arrangement and the shell are configured such that the ball wheel is able to support the article for omni-directional rolling motion over the underlying surface with either of the first and article surfaces parallel thereto, and at any orientation therebetween.
Wheel adapter to convert a storage container to a wheeled storage container
A wheel adapter to convert a storage container to a wheeled storage container is provided. The wheel adapter comprises a mounting bracket attachable to the storage container. The mounting bracket comprises a first leg configured to engage a bottom surface of the storage container, and a second leg configured to engage a side surface of the storage container. The second leg comprises a wheel coupling. The wheel adapter also includes a wheel rotatably connected to the wheel coupling. The wheel is constructed and arranged for rotation about an axis to provide rolling support of the storage container on the ground.
Compact storage rack system
A compact storage rack system is disclosed. In an example implementation, the compact storage rack system includes a track assembly and a movable shelving assembly including a first set of wheels transitionally connected to the track assembly. The first set of wheels can transition along the track assembly between a first position corresponding to a retracted position and a second position corresponding to an extended position.
A CASTER ASSEMBLY, A CHASSIS COMPRISING SUCH AN ASSEMBLY, AND A ROLL CONTAINER COMPRISING SUCH A CHASSIS
According to an example aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a novel caster assembly for a roll container (1000). The caster assembly has a caster (410) with a fork (411) as well as a pin (414). The pin (414) may be repeatedly attached to and removed from the fork (411) so as to attach the chassis (100) of the roll container (1000) to the fork (411). The pin (414) also acts as the hinge pin of a pivotable side wall (200) of said roll container (1000).
MOBILE ANATOMICAL IMAGING SYSTEM WITH IMPROVED MOVEMENT SYSTEM COMPRISING LIDDIARD WHEELS
A new and improved anatomical imaging system which includes a new and improved movement system, wherein the movement system comprises an omnidirectional powered drive unit and wherein the movement system can substantially eliminate lateral walk (or drift) over the complete stroke of a scan, even when the floor includes substantial irregularities, whereby to improve the accuracy of the scan results and avoid unintentional engagement of the anatomical imaging system with the bed or gurney which is supporting the patient. The present invention also comprises the provision and use of Liddiard wheels.
WHEEL AND WHEEL MOUNT
The mount includes a base formed of a substantially planar side wall and a substantially planar bottom wall. The interior surfaces of the walls intersect at a right angle. Each of the walls has an opening. The wall openings together form a recess adapted to receive the wheel. A first notched protrusion extends from the side wall interior surface and is intended to be received in a slot adjacent a cut-out on the side wall of a container on which the mount is installed. A second protrusion, having two portions situated as an angle extends from the bottom wall interior surface of the mount and is intended to be received in a slot adjacent a cut-out on the bottom of the container.
