Cosmetic composition for skin regeneration
A cosmetic composition includes a compound of the following chemical formula as an active ingredient. A method for regenerating skin includes applying an effective amount of the cosmetic composition to skin: ##STR00001## wherein R.sup.1 to R.sup.7 are independently a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C20 alkyl group.
LIPID DEPOT FORMULATIONS
The present invention relates to pre-formulations comprising low viscosity, non-liquid crystalline, mixtures of: a) at least one neutral diacyl lipid and/or at least one tocopherol; b) at least one phospholipid; c) at least one biocompatible, oxygen containing, low viscosity organic solvent;
wherein at least one bioactive agent is dissolved or dispersed in the low viscosity mixture and wherein the pre-formulation forms, or is capable of forming, at least one liquid crystalline phase structure upon contact with an aqueous fluid. The preformulations are suitable for generating parenteral, non-parenteral and topical depot compositions for sustained release of active agents. The invention additionally relates to a method of delivery of an active agent comprising administration of a preformulation of the invention, a method of treatment comprising administration of a preformulation of the invention and the use of a preformulation of the invention in a method for the manufacture of a medicament.

COSMETIC OR DERMATOLOGICAL COMPOSITION ACTING IN PARTICULAR ON THE EFFECTS OF BLUE LIGHT ON SKIN AND ITS APPENDAGES, AND ASSOCIATED USES
A composition is described, comprising or consisting of chrysin, rosmarinic acid, at least one peptide or derivative thereof, having a sequence of 4 to 10 amino acids comprising the active sequence GQPR and a physiologically acceptable medium. A derivative corresponds to said peptide modified at the N-terminal end with an acyl (—CO—R.sup.1), sulfonyl (—SO.sub.2—R.sup.1) group or a biotinoyl group and/or at the C-terminal end with an OR.sup.1, NH.sub.2, NHR.sup.1 group or NR.sup.1R.sup.2, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 being as defined herein and where the composition acts on the effects of light radiation on the skin and/or of its appendages, and more particularly the effects of blue light to fight against harmful effects and in a particularly advantageous manner at the same time to increase the beneficial effects by resynchronizing the circadian cycle.
