Bead lock systems and methods
Embodiments disclosed herein describe systems and methods for a bead lock wheel line in scaled vehicles. The bead lock wheel line may include a wheel center section and a bead lock ring. The bead lock ring may be configured to be overlaid on the wheel center section, wherein screws may be inserted through orifices positioned within the bead lock ring and into orifices positioned on the wheel center section.
BICYCLE HUB UNIT AND BICYCLE WHEEL ASSEMBLY
To provide a bicycle hub unit and a bicycle wheel assembly that allow a wheel unit to be appropriately coupled to a hub body, a bicycle hub unit is coupled to a rotary body to which a brake is applied by a brake device. The bicycle hub unit includes a hub body that rotates around a hub axle and a rotary body coupling portion that couples the rotary body to the hub body. The hub body includes a first joint portion and a second joint portion. The first joint portion includes an external thread coupled to an internal thread of the wheel unit. The second joint portion is coupled to a restriction member that restricts relative rotation of the first joint portion and the wheel unit.
EMERGENCY WHEEL
This disclosure relates to a clamping device for tensioning an attachment on a rim of a vehicle wheel, wherein the attachment configured to enable a driving operation with a restricted tire function in an operating state in which it is fastened on the vehicle wheel.
EMERGENCY WHEEL
The invention relates to an attachment (14) for a vehicle wheel (1) for enabling a driving operation with restricted tire functions and to a system comprising an attachment (14) and a rim (2) of a vehicle wheel (1).
WHEEL WEIGHT ASSEMBLY AND ATTACHMENT METHOD
A wheel weight assembly with inner and outer weights, inner and outer fasteners, and anti-rotation plates. Inner fasteners can include inner and outer nuts, and a stud that extends through inner weight. Outer nuts can attach to studs and outer fasteners. Anti-rotation plates can fit over outer nuts in recesses of inner weight to prevent rotation of outer nuts. The weight assembly can also include intermediate weight and intermediate fasteners. Intermediate fasteners can include intermediate nuts and studs, where proximal end of stud attaches to inner fastener, and distal end of stud extends into recess of intermediate weight. Intermediate nuts can attach to distal ends of studs, and to outer fasteners. Anti-rotation plates fit over intermediate nuts in recesses of intermediate weight to prevent rotation of intermediate nuts. Anti-rotation plates and recesses can be pear-shaped. Cutouts in anti-rotation plates and intermediate nuts can be polygonal-shaped.
TAPERED REPLACEMENT SPINDLE AND SEAL RING ASSEMBLIES
A tractor or trailer axle replacement spindle and seal ring assembly includes a spindle with an elongate cylindrical body having bearing surfaces and threads. The seal ring is a shorter cylindrical component having an opening sized to achieve an interference fit with the spindle. The exterior surface of the spindle and the interior surface of the ring seal include complementary oblique, shoulders bounded by regions of constant diameter. The spindle also includes a shoulder or flange at its end opposite the threads which positively axially locates the seal ring thereon. When the two components are to be assembled, the seal ring is heated to several hundred degrees Fahrenheit and slid onto the spindle until the seal ring contacts the shoulder or flange on the spindle.
REINFORCED TRAILER AXLE TUBE WITH REPLACEABLE SPINDLE ASSEMBLY
An axle tube assembly includes an axle tube, a first tube reinforcement apparatus disposed in the axle tube at one end and a second identical tube reinforcement apparatus disposed into the axle tube at the second end the reinforcement apparatuses welded in place to the axle tube, a first spindle assembly coupled to the first tube reinforcement apparatus, a second spindle assembly coupled to the second tube reinforcement apparatus, and an elongated connector rod or tube connected to the first and second to reinforcement apparatuses inside the axle tube and disposed between the reinforcement apparatuses the first and second spindle assemblies having spindle bodies welded to the cylindrical ends of the axle tube.
TUBELESS VALVE ASSEMBLY
A bicycle wheel comprises a rim and a valve assembly. The rim includes a radially inner wall having an inner opening and a radially outer wall having an outer opening. A first portion of the rim includes a first securing feature (e.g., inner threads). The valve assembly is positioned in the inner opening and outer opening and includes a second securing feature (e.g., outer threads) engaging the first securing feature. The rim can include a plate that defines the first engaging feature. The valve assembly preferably includes a valve stem and a resilient bumper coupled to the valve stem and aligned with a second portion of the rim. The valve assembly can further include a seal member compressed between the valve stem and the rim. Preferably, the seal member is positioned in an annular groove in an underside of an enlarged head of the valve stem.
Wheel for a support structure
A wheel assembly includes a first side plate having a first annular base, axially protruding first claw members projecting axially outward from the first annular base, axially protruding first hub mounts projecting axially outward from the first annular base, and axially protruding first spring mounts projecting axially outward from the first annular base; a hub member attached to the first side plate; and a tire assembly laid over the hub member such that spokes of the tire assembly are radially adjacent corresponding first claw members of the first side plate, a plurality of friction members and the first claw members sandwiching each of the spokes.
