BLENDED FORMULATIONS
The present invention relates to a formulation comprising blends of formulations (or colloidal dispersions) and its topical application. The formulation comprises at least two different types of colloidal dispersion comprising deformable colloidal particles, wherein the deformable colloidal particles comprise a non-ionic surfactant and/or a phospholipid. The deformable colloidal particles of the invention may comprise an agent of interest (AOI) or may be free of an AOI. The formulation may comprise an AOI that is not associated with the deformable colloidal particles. The present invention also includes kits comprising the formulation of the present invention and the use of the formulation in medicine, skin care and cosmetics.

A composition containing carvone or a salt thereof as an active ingredient is disclosed. A new use of the composition is also disclosed. The composition is effective in whitening skin of a subject, and capable of exhibiting an excellent melanogenesis inhibitory effect. The composition has an excellent effect of inhibiting melanogenesis induced by melanocyte-stimulating hormone (αMSH), is safe for the human body, and has no or minimum adverse effects. A composition for brightening or whitening keratin materials in the form of an emulsion, comprises an oily phase dispersed in an aqueous phase, and comprises: i)from 2.0 wt. % to 10.0 wt% of at least one white particles, relative the total weight of the composition; ii) at least one anionic terpolymer as a thickener; and iii) an emulsifier system including: a)at least one alkyl phosphate salt; b)at least one polyoxyethylene oxide C12-C24 fatty acid ester; and c)at least one glyceryl C12-C24 fatty acid ester. A cosmetic process for brightening or whitening keratin materials, in particular human skin, comprises applying the composition as defined above to the keratin materials.
