A composition for brightening or whitening keratin materials in the form of an emulsion, comprises an oily phase dispersed in an aqueous phase, and comprises: i)from 2.0 wt. % to 10.0 wt% of at least one white particles, relative the total weight of the composition; ii) at least one anionic terpolymer as a thickener; and iii) an emulsifier system including: a)at least one alkyl phosphate salt; b)at least one polyoxyethylene oxide C12-C24 fatty acid ester; and c)at least one glyceryl C12-C24 fatty acid ester. A cosmetic process for brightening or whitening keratin materials, in particular human skin, comprises applying the composition as defined above to the keratin materials.
ARGININE ASPARTATE-CONTAINING COMPOSITION FOR SUPPRESSING OLD PERSON SMELL
The present invention relates to a composition comprising arginine aspartate. The composition according to the present invention not only reduces 2-nonenal, but also inhibits the expression of MMP-1, has a collagen synthesis ability, reduces the expression of TNF-α, and inhibits the activity of tyrosinase. Therefore, the composition according to the present invention can be effectively used for suppressing senile body odor, alleviating wrinkles, anti-inflammation or whitening.

The present invention relates to a composition comprising arginine aspartate. A method of stabilizing 4-ethyl resorcinol or 4-hexyl resorcinol in a composition comprising a cosmetically acceptable vehicle by adding to the composition Acetyl Methionine in an amount sufficient to stabilize said 4-ethyl resorcinol or 4-hexyl resorcinol. Use of the N-Acetyl Methionine and stabilized 4-substituted resorcinol derivatives in the manufacture of a topical cosmetic composition.
STABILIZATION OF RESORCINOL COMPOUNDS IN COSMETIC COMPOSITIONS
Topical cosmetic compositions containing a 4-substituted resorcinol derivative along with N-acetyl methionine exhibit improved storage stability and oxidative stability. A method of stabilizing 4-ethyl resorcinol or 4-hexyl resorcinol in a composition comprising a cosmetically acceptable vehicle by adding to the composition Acetyl Methionine in an amount sufficient to stabilize said 4-ethyl resorcinol or 4-hexyl resorcinol. Use of the N-Acetyl Methionine and stabilized 4-substituted resorcinol derivatives in the manufacture of a topical cosmetic composition.
COMPOSITION FOR ANTI-OXIDATION AND ANTI-INFLAMMATION COMPRISING SALVIA PLEBEIA R BR EXTRACT AND CENTELLA ASIATICA EXTRACT
The present invention relates to a composition for anti-oxidation and anti-inflammation, comprising a Salvia plebeia R. BR. extract and a Centella asiatica extract as an active ingredient. The composition exhibits a radical scavenging ability, and has excellent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-itching effects by significantly inhibiting inflammation and itch-inducing factors at gene and protein levels, and thus can be advantageously used as a cosmetic composition for anti-oxidation and anti-inflammation.

Disclosed is a method of improving the penetration of a vitamin B.sub.3 compound into skin. The method involves a skin care regimen in which at least two skin care compositions are used in sequence to treat a target portion of skin where a skin health or appearance benefit is desired. The first composition applied to the skin is a low-pH skin care composition that contains a first concentration of a vitamin B.sub.3 compound. The second skin care composition applied to the skin is a conventional skin care composition that contains a higher concentration of the vitamin B.sub.3 compound than the first composition. When applied in the proper sequence, the regimen results in an unexpectedly high vitamin B.sub.3 flux into the skin.

The preparation method includes: S1: carrying out a hot extraction on a crushed Macadamia integrifolia green peel using an ethanol solution as an extraction solvent to obtain a crude green peel extract; then enzymatically treating the crude green peel extract using a snailase to obtain a enzymatic hydrolysate; finally extracting the enzymatic hydrolysate using a petroleum ether, and taking an aqueous phase to obtain a green peel extract; S2: carrying out a hot extraction on crushed Sichuan lovase rhizome decoction pieces using an ethanol solution as an extraction solvent to obtain a Sichuan lovase rhizome extract; S3: dispersing the green peel extract and the Sichuan lovase rhizome extract in water to obtain a whitening extract.
