NON-PNEUMATIC TIRE WITH PARTIALLY COMPLIANT HUB
A shear band that may be used e.g., in a non-pneumatic tire is provided. The shear band uses interlaced reinforcing elements positioned within a shear layer of elastomeric material. A variety of configurations may be used to create the interlaced positioning of the reinforcing elements including e.g., a horizontal diamond or vertical diamond configuration.
BICYCLE WHEEL COMPONENT WITH BRAKING AREA MADE OF COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND RELATED MANUFACTURING PROCESS
A process for manufacturing a bicycle wheel component, comprising the steps of providing a component having at least one braking area that cooperates with a braking body made by molding of composite material having structural fibers in a polymeric material, and post-molding machining of at least one region of the braking area by removing only polymeric material, without removal of the structural fiber, from the entire region so that the structural fiber outcrops at least in part from the polymeric material, and removing the structural fiber and possibly the polymeric material according to at least one groove within the region. A bicycle wheel component having a braking area of composite material, wherein in a region of the braking area, the structural fiber outcrops at least from the polymeric material, and the region comprises a groove through the structural fiber and possibly the polymeric material of the composite material.
NON-PNEUMATIC TIRE
A structurally supported tire includes a ground contacting annular tread portion, an annular shear band and two or more spokes.
Systems and methods for preloading a bearing
A tool for use in preloading a bearing includes a plurality of arms pivotable relative to each other and a pin extending from each arm of a plurality of arms. The pin is configured to engage an opening of a plurality of openings in a retaining ring. A resilient member biases the plurality of arms away from each other. A first arm of the plurality of arms includes a cavity. A second arm of the plurality of arms is received in the cavity such that an extending portion of the second arm extends outside the cavity and the second arm is moveable in the cavity.
TIRE RIM STRUCTURE AND TIRE
A tire rim structure including an annular inner ring (2) provided on the inner ring of a tire body (1) and a circular outer ring (3) provided on the outside of the tire body (1), fixedly connected to the annular inner ring (2), and formed by stamping. The annular inner ring (2) includes an annular inner ring body (21) formed by extrusion, an annular left ring (22) provided at one side of the annular inner ring body (21) and formed by extrusion, and an annular right ring (23) provided at the other side of the annular inner ring body (21), connected to the circular outer ring (3), and formed by extrusion. A shaft hole (31) is provided at the middle part of the circular outer ring (3). By breaking down a tire rim into the annular inner ring body (21), the left ring (22), the right ring (23), and the outer ring (3) connected to the right ring, each of the components composing the tire rim can be processed and formed via extrusion or stamping processes, this provides increased consistency compared with an existing tire rim that is integrally processed and formed via a casting process, thus allowing for increased structural strength and simplified manufacturing process.
UTILITY VEHICLE WITH ELECTRIC MOTOR AT DRIVE WHEEL
A utility vehicle configured for traveling off-road includes: a chassis; and a drive wheel assembly coupled with the chassis and including: a drive wheel assembly rotatable portion configured for rotating and thereby for enabling the utility vehicle to traverse a ground; a hub carrier coupled with the drive wheel assembly rotatable portion, which is configured for rotating relative to the hub carrier; and an electric motor configured for causing the drive wheel assembly rotatable portion to rotate, the electric motor including a stator which is fixedly coupled with the hub carrier.
Single-point clamp of four-wheel aligner for vehicles and a using method thereof
A single-point clamp of four-wheel aligner for vehicles connected to a fixing hub nut on the wheel comprises a sleeve, a single-point variable hexagonal grip, a fastening nut, a connecting board, and a target board with magnets. The single-point variable hexagonal grip and the fastening nut are respectively disposed at two ends of the sleeve. The single-point variable hexagonal grip is firmly lodged in the fixing hub nut. Two ends of the connecting board are respectively connected to the sleeve and the target board. A using method includes: (1) loosening the fastening nut of the single-point clamp; (2) inserting the single-point variable hexagonal grip into the fixing hub nut of the wheel; and (3) rotationally fastening the fastening nut for clamping the fixing hub nut firmly.
Fastener and dolly
A dolly comprising a chassis, a castor having a fork and a wheel rotatably mounted to the fork, and a fastener for fixing the fork of the castor to the chassis of the dolly. The fastener comprises a head which is shaped to the peripheral shape of the wheel of the castor.
AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM
The present application discloses an air suspension system, including a frame for mounting a vehicle body, a bridge housing for mounting wheels, and air springs, shock absorbers, a connecting rod frame and a thrust module connected between the frame and the bridge housing. Since the thrust module is standardized, a suitable thrust module can be matched according to different working conditions, thereby making the complex suspension adjustment work lightweight.
AIRCRAFT DOLLY
A dolly for placement beneath a landing gear of an aircraft that enables transport of the aircraft without rolling the tire of the aircraft. The dolly includes a platform for a tire to rest on and a channel for positioning the tire. The dolly includes a winch for translating the dolly and aircraft tire relative to each other such that the landing gear is brought to rest on the platform, and one or more stops for securing the aircraft landing gear with respect to the dolly. Once positioned, the dolly can be used while transporting the aircraft, either by hand pushing, a hand towbar, a motorized tug with a towbar, or other mode. The dolly is useful for moving aircraft with a damaged landing gear or flat tires.
