WHEEL COMPRISING A WHEEL RIM AND A WHEEL DISC
The invention relates to a wheel, especially for motor vehicles, comprising a wheel rim and a wheel disc, the wheel rim having a rim base made of fiber composite material. The invention is characterized in that the wheel disc (3, 11, 20, 29, 40) can be indirectly connected to the wheel rim (1), in particular the rim base (2), by means of a connecting element (5, 14, 22, 31, 35, 42) which is designed and associated with the rim base (2) in such a way that the connected wheel disc (3, 11, 20, 29, 40) is not in contact with the rim base (2).
BICYCLE HUB APPARATUS
A bicycle hub apparatus may comprise a wheel hub, a freewheel and a driving base. The freewheel comprises a first chainwheel and a second chainwheel, a first elastic piece, and a second elastic piece. A lateral surface of the first chainwheel comprises a first teeth while a lateral surface of the second chianwheel has a third teeth, and the first teeth is configured to engage with the third teeth to have a synchronous rotation in clockwise direction. Also, the other lateral surface of the first chainwheel has a second teeth while the other lateral surface of the second chainwheel comprises a fourth teeth such that when the first chainwheel and the second chainwheel are rolled over, the second teeth is adapted to engage with the fourth teeth to have a synchronous rotation in counterclockwise direction.
Hub, in particular for bicycles
A hub for bicycles including a hub shell which is rotatably supported relative to a hub axle, a rotor rotatably supported relative to the hub axle by means of two rotor bearings, and a freewheel device having two interacting freewheel components namely, a hub-side freewheel component and a rotor-side freewheel component. The two freewheel components each include axial engagement elements and they are movable relative to one another in the axial direction between a freewheel position and an intermeshing engaging position. Rolling members are provided for defined accommodation in the hub-side freewheel component to support the hub shell relative to the hub axle. An attachment portion and a centering portion are configured in the hub shell and an attachment area and a centering area are configured on the hub-side freewheel component. The attachment area is connected with the attachment portion and the centering area is centered on the centering portion.
WHEEL ASSEMBLY INCLUDING INNER AND OUTER RIM COUPLED HYDRAULIC DAMPERS AND RELATED METHODS
A wheel assembly to be coupled to a hub of a vehicle may include an inner rim to be coupled to the hub of the vehicle and an outer rim surrounding the hub. The wheel assembly may also include gas springs operatively coupled between the inner rim and the outer rim to provide a gas suspension for relative movement between said inner rim and said outer rim. The wheel assembly may also include hydraulic dampers operatively coupled between the inner rim and the outer rim.
Axle sleeve
A method of making an axle sleeve may comprise forming a main body comprising a cylinder, and forming an expansion member whereby a diameter of the main body may be varied.
WHEEL ASSEMBLY FOR VEHICLE WHEEL ADJUSTMENT HAVING HUB WITH TWO PORTS
An apparatus for a vehicle is provided that has an axle and a spindle sleeve with a spindle sleeve inner surface axis coaxial with the axis of the axle, and a spindle sleeve outer surface axis not coaxial with the axis of the axle. A hub has an axis coaxial with the spindle sleeve outer surface axis, and the hub at least partially defines a chamber. First and second ports extend through a wall of the hub to the chamber. The hub rotates about the spindle sleeve through the aid of two bearings. Lubricant is present within the chamber, and the first port provides a pathway for a pressurized fluid to be introduced into the chamber to force the lubricant out of the chamber via the second port.
Bicycle rim with brake track
A rim for a bicycle includes a radially outer tire-engaging portion, a radially inner spoke-engaging portion, a first sidewall and a second sidewall spaced apart from the first sidewall. A brake track is located on the first and second sidewalls including a plurality of grooves formed therein. Each of the plurality of grooves has a radially innermost point and a radially outermost point, wherein the radially outermost point is circumferentially aft of the radially innermost point relative to a forward circumferential travel direction of the rim.
Combination structure of hub and spokes
