A device for stabilizing pressure inside a gear's housing or a wheel's hub includes a bladder, and a conduit coupled to the bladder and coupleable to a volume containing a lubricant. The bladder includes a chamber having a volume, and is configured such that the chamber's volume increases as a fluid enters the chamber, and decreases as fluid leaves the chamber. The conduit includes a first end positionable adjacent the lubricant containing volume, a second end coupled with the bladder, and a passage between the first and second ends, and is configured to hold fluid disposed in the passage and direct the fluid between the first and second ends. When the conduit is coupled to the lubricant containing volume, the volume of the bladder's chamber, the passage of the conduit and the lubricant containing volume are isolated from the ambient environment.
Adjustable Axle Assembly For A Vehicle
An axle assembly for a vehicle. A movable housing is movably positioned within a closed channel defined by a central housing. The movable housing moves the axle assembly between a retracted configuration and an extended configuration. A mounting assembly may be coupled to and spaced from the movable housing and slidably positioned adjacent the central housing. A steering actuator is coupled to a steering arm and the mounting assembly such that the steering actuator moves as a unit. A track assist bracket may be fixedly coupled to the central housing and define a gap sized to slidably receive a mounting plate of the mounting assembly. A bushing may be disposed on each wall of a telescoping portion of the movable housing. A bellows may be provided to enclose exposed portions of the bushings in the extended configuration. Methods of adjusting the track of the axle assembly are also disclosed.

The adapter member includes a fill valve, an internal passageway and a boss member positioned within a multi-piece wheel. The safety member is removably connected to the adapter member, and covers nuts which removably connect a first piece of the multi-piece wheel to a second piece of the multi-piece wheel.

The cover includes a large-diameter cylindrical section (10a) fitted onto the outer ring, a step section (10b) protruding toward the inside in the radial direction and contacting an end surface of the outer ring, and a small-diameter cylindrical section (10c) extending in the axial direction from the step section. A portion of the ground-surface side of the small-diameter cylindrical section forms a protruding circumferential surface (S), and a drain hole (10e) is formed in the protruding circumferential surface (S).

SEALING SYSTEM FOR A MOVING SHAFT
A sealing system includes a shaft seal plate, a seal guide having a tab, and a shaft seal coupled to the seal guide. A guide slot is formed in the shaft seal plate, and the tab extends into the guide slot. The shaft seal is configured to form and substantially maintain a seal at an axle bar as the axle bar rotates and pivots. The seal guide is configured to translate relative to the shaft seal plate as the axle bar pivots, and the tab is configured to block a rotation of the seal guide and the shaft seal relative to the shaft seal plate as the axle bar rotates.
Sealed removable spindle for a spring axle
A removable spindle assembly improvement comprised of a spindle housing end unit having a threaded cavity. A corresponding threaded removable spindle is torqued into the threaded cavity. The spindle has a tapered section that includes O-rings for creating a seal along the corresponding section of the cavity to prevent corrosion which assists in the elimination of spindle seizure within the spindle housing end unit's cavity. The spindle assembly has an interlocking key assembly that assists in securing the spindle. The spindle housing end unit's housing includes a threaded aperture that cooperates with a sealed set screw for securing the spindle in place during operation. This assembly facilitates easy removal and replacement of a spindle on a spring axle.

The invention relates to a wheel, especially for motor vehicles, comprising a wheel rim and a wheel disc, the wheel rim having a rim base made of fiber composite material. The invention is characterized in that the wheel disc (3, 11, 20, 29, 40) can be indirectly connected to the wheel rim (1), in particular the rim base (2), by means of a connecting element (5, 14, 22, 31, 35, 42) which is designed and associated with the rim base (2) in such a way that the connected wheel disc (3, 11, 20, 29, 40) is not in contact with the rim base (2).

The connecting unit includes a rod extending through the through hole into the mounting hole and having an engaging hole that is aligned with the blind hole. The connecting unit further includes a fastener extending through the blind hole into the engaging hole and engaging with the engaging hole.
