A wheel includes an outer ring that rotates about a wheel rotational axis, an arm drive gear that rotates independently from the outer ring about the wheel rotational axis, and an arm capable of rotating about an arm rotational axis fixed to the outer ring, the arm being configured to partially protrude outside from an outer peripheral surface of the outer ring in a radial direction as the arm drive gear rotates relative to the outer ring in one direction (normal rotational direction) and to be housed inside in the radial direction from the outer peripheral surface of the outer ring as the arm drive gear rotates relative to the outer ring in the other direction (reverse rotational direction) opposite to the one direction.
NON-PNEUMATIC TIRE WITH MULTI-CONNECTION CONNECTING ELEMENTS
A non-pneumatic tire (101) having a hub (201) and a compliant outer band (109) connected by connecting members (129) that are intersected by an intermediate band (120) positioned between the hub (201) and compliant outer band (109) forming a plurality of connecting element segments (331,333), each segment having a predominant curvature extending in the same longitudinal direction said direction coinciding with the preferred direction of rotation of the tire (101).
BEVERAGE DISPENSING COOLER
Disclosed is a beverage dispensing cooler. The beverage dispensing cooler includes a first lid, a second lid, a body, an axle, a handle and multiple hoses. The body includes a chamber, a panel, a base valve, a wall drain, a primary hose, a flow control unit, a power unit and a dispenser gun. The chamber includes multiple cylinders, multiple pressure compartments and a basin configured to collect water from condensation and melted ice. The axle further includes multiple wheels, a rod and multiple bearings connected to the rod and to the multiple wheels. The handle is configured to facilitate engagement of the beverage dispensing cooler with a hand of a user.
Articulating Carriage
An articulating carriage for moving an object across a surface having a non-planar obstruction to allow movement of the object over the obstruction. The articulating carriage has a walking beam assembly that pivotally supports a pedestal to dispose a support surface thereof above the walking beam assembly. The walking beam assembly has a base plate, wheeled casters and a pair of spaced apart hangers having articulation openings. The walking beam pivots relative to the pedestal. In one embodiment, the pedestal is pivotally mounted on the walking beam assembly. In another embodiment, a pair of walking beam assemblies are connected with a crosstube that pivotally supports the pedestal. In another embodiment, a major crosstube assembly connects a pair of crosstubes to define a carriage having four walking beams. In yet another embodiment, a compound crosstube assembly connects pairs of major crosstube assemblies to define a carriage having eight walking beams.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL VEHICLE LIFTING, STEERING, MOVING AND OBSTACLE CROSSING DEVICE
The present invention discloses a multifunctional vehicle lifting, steering, moving and obstacle crossing device. The apparatus is composed of a rotating mechanism, a lifting mechanism, a running mechanism and a control mechanism, is mounted at a bottom of an automobile, can be conveniently folded at the bottom of the automobile when not used at ordinary times, and has characteristics of portability, flexibility, no space occupation and easy operation. The apparatus can realize functions of a vehicle, such as lifting, rotating, moving and the like, in a wired or wireless control manner, and effectively overcome defects that the vehicle cannot realize four-wheel off-ground, entire side movement and in-situ rotation or pass through a narrow road or stride across a wide ditch or cross a high and narrow obstacle, thereby completing relatively difficult tasks of the vehicle, such as parking, moving, turning-around and turning in a narrow space, crossing ditches etc.
WHEEL FRAME COMPONENT
A multiple directional wheel including a wheel frame comprising identical component parts. Each of the wheel frame components comprise: a hub having a main axis about which the multiple directional wheel is adapted to rotate; a hub rim radially surrounding the hub; a first plurality (four shown) of peripheral roller supporting arms (“first arms”) radially extending from the hub rim and aligned in a first plane; and a second plurality of peripheral roller supporting arms (“second arms”), each member arm of the second plurality of peripheral roller supporting arms having a radially inner base and being circumferentially offset with respect to diagonally adjacent members of the first plurality of peripheral roller supporting arms. Each of the wheel frame components further comprise a plurality of beams corresponding to the number of member arms of the second plurality of peripheral roller supporting arms, each respective beam extending from the hub rim to a corresponding inner base of a member arm of the second plurality of peripheral roller supporting arms, and a plurality of spigots extending from each corresponding one of the plurality of beams or the inner bases. The second plurality of peripheral roller supporting arms lie in a second plane normal to the main axis, spaced from, and parallel to, the first plane; and each of the spigots from one of the wheel frame components is received in a recess formed in a facing surface of a complementary one of the wheel frame components to join the wheel frame components to form the wheel frame.
WHEEL WITH AN INTELLIGENT SUSPENSION SYSTEM
A wheel with an intelligent suspension system that includes a hub, a rim and a set of spokes with dynamically adjustable spoke lengths. Further included is one or more sensors associated with at least the hub and the rim and a microcontroller unit (MCU) that receives sensory signals from the one or more sensors, and transmits control signals to the set of spokes to dynamically control spoke lengths of the set of spokes.
Magnetic Omni-Wheel with Roller Bracket
A multidirectional wheel for traversing a surface is provided that includes a magnet and a plurality of rollers disposed around an outer periphery of each of the hubs of the wheels. The rollers are mounted for rotation in a second axial direction that is perpendicular to a first axial direction of the wheel. The rollers are supported by a plurality of magnetically-inducible brackets attached to the hub. The brackets are optimally sized and shaped to reduce the space between the magnetized materials of the wheel and the surface upon which the wheel travels.
GUARD FOR COMPACTOR VEHICLE AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
A guard for a compactor vehicle that includes a base and a cap. The base comprises a body and a retention feature. The body defines an underside, configured to engage a wheel of the compactor vehicle, and an opposing cap-facing side. The cap comprises an outer surface and a retention feature. The outer surface defines a compaction surface. The retention features of the base and cap interlock with one another to secure the cap to the base. A cavity is defined in the underside of the base.
MULTI-WHEEL SYSTEM FOR LUGGAGE
A multi-wheel system that minimizes wheel interactions with discontinuous and uneven surfaces. The multi-wheel system comprises wheels of varying diameters connecting to a rotating arm configured to raise and lower the wheels in response to obstacles along the rolling surface.
