Multi air chamber tire and method for controlling internal pressure of same
A multi air chamber tire 1 includes a partition wall 30 configured to define and form a plurality of air chambers 20 disposed adjacent to each other in an inner cavity of a tire, and a ventilation member 10 provided to the partition wall 30, and configured to connect the plurality of air chambers 20 in a state where ventilation is allowed. The ventilation member 10 allows ventilation between the plurality of air chambers 20 when a predetermined condition is satisfied indicating that fluid is being injected into at least one of the plurality of air chambers 20 from outside of the tire, and the ventilation member 10 shuts off the ventilation between the plurality of air chambers 20 when the predetermined condition is not satisfied.
TWO CHAMBER TIRE PRESSURE TUNING SYSTEMS
Tire assemblies are disclosed. In one embodiment a tire insert assembly includes an elastomeric tire insert constructed to be received within a tire, the tire having sidewalls and a tread portion. An upper crown surface of the tire insert and a lower surface of the tire define an outer chamber and the tire insert defines an inner chamber. The tire insert may be configured to support a substantial portion of the sidewall of the tire when the inner chamber is inflated.

TYRE IN TYRE SYSTEMS
A wheel provided with a tyre in tyre installation in which an outer ground engaging tyre is mounted on a rim of the wheel and an inner inflatable member is mounted on the rim inside the outer tyre. The inner surface of the outer tyre and the outer surface of the inner inflatable member are provided with respective electrically conductive members suitably in the form of induction loops. A controller determines when the respective electrically conductive members come into close proximity or contact, enabling manual or automated adjustment of air pressure to minimise abrasion between the outer tyre and inner inflatable member.

FUEL EFFICIENCY SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
Vehicle systems and components are set forth, which aim to reduce rolling friction caused in part by the contact between the vehicle's tires and the ground surface over which the vehicle is traversing. These systems and/or components thereof may increase the overall fuel efficiency of a vehicle. In the examples provided, the systems and/or components change the tread contact patch of one or more tires during movement of the vehicle.

Fluid reservoir within a tire
A wheel assembly has a rim with an outer radial surface. A tire coupled to the rim defines a first interior region between the outer radial surface and the tire. A bladder coupled to the rim defines a second interior region between the outer radial surface and the bladder. A third interior region is defined between the bladder and the tire. The wheel assembly includes a valve fluidly coupled to the second interior region and the third interior region. The valve is movable between a first position and a second position. The second interior region and the third interior region are fluidly isolated from one another when the valve is in the first position. The second interior region and the third interior region may be fluidly coupled to one another when the valve is in the second position.

Tire/wheel assembly and tread ring
A tire-wheel assembly comprises a wheel coupled to a rotating shaft; an elastic tube disposed on an outer side of the wheel with respect to a radial direction, the interior of the tube being filled with air; a rigid protective ring disposed on an outer side of the tube with respect to the radial direction separated from the wheel; and a tread ring disposed on an outer side of the protective ring with respect to the radial direction, an inner circumferential surface of the tread ring contacting an outer circumferential surface of the protective ring.
